A Wholesome Blend of Comedy and Cliché

Introduction:
"Praomook" is a Thai series featuring the same lead actors from "Tra Barb See Chompoo." While not as complex, it offers a lighter tone with a blend of drama and comedy.

Plot Summary:
The story revolves around Lan and Mook, forced into marriage by Lan's parents to avert bad luck. Mook, in love since high school, faces Lan's past insults. The plot thickens as Lan becomes a target, leading to their unexpected marriage.

Elements:

1. Drama and Comedy:
Successfully combines dramatic and comedic elements.
Noteworthy comedic subplot involving Lan, Mook, and Rut, creating a wholesome love triangle.

2. Character Dynamics:
Male lead same as "Tra Barb See Chompoo" with a narcissistic complex.
Delusional assumptions about Mook's involvement in murder attempts stretch believability.

3. Plot Depth:
Lacks depth, following a predictable and clichéd trajectory.
Comedy serves as a redeeming factor, but doesn't compensate for the overall lack of substance.

4. Performances:
Cast delivers commendable performances.
Chemistry between lead actors remains a highlight.

Recommendation:
Suitable for fans of the lead actors seeking a lighthearted, comedic experience.
Enjoyable for its chemistry and comedic moments, but the predictable plot may lead to monotony.

Conclusion:
"Praomook" is a tolerably bearable series with moments of enjoyment, particularly for those seeking comedy and the familiar chemistry of the lead actors. While falling short in plot depth, it remains a decent choice for a light-hearted viewing experience.

Can watch if you love the cast!

Story is sooo predictable from the start. But they have smartly presented story with a good screenplay and casting. The music also adds its magic to this drama to make it interesting. You may watch this drama for the other elements, except for story. If you're a fan (or not) of any of the casts in this drama, you wouldn't be disappointed with their performance, but I doubt the same could be said for the ML's character though. I felt the male lead's character was a bit toxic that I badly wanted the FL to end up with the Second Male Lead. Felt like they rushed SML's love story. But the fake love story between First Male Lead & SML was interesting to watch.

So many casts in this drama were already a part of 2018 Thai drama named "Tra Barb See Chompo", so don't be surprised if this drama gives you a vibe of a reunion party/ second part of the former drama.

Addicitive. A story to remember.

I usually like Thai story plot in drama or series.
Praomook becomes one of my favorites even from episode one!

Praomook starts as a cliche contract marriage. But, here the contract are not hidden, but known to people. Based on cultural belief that superstitious only marriage is allowed to stir away the bad omen. So, frankly speaking this makes the story plot different from the usual contract marriage.

I always fall for smart FL, and Mook is smart, talented, energetic, and (of course) extremely pretty. She knows how to handle problems, without being just a candygirl.

FL and ML has to married twice because of the bad omen that follows ML life. The story sorrounds mostly on FL saving ML life a few times and they are determined to not admittedly fall for each other.

One of my fave points in this series is Rut. This second male lead weren't so miserable like mostly happened in C or K dramas. Because Rut likes Mook but not overly sacrificing every bit of him for Mook.
Every character in Praomook develops beautifully & subtle in a span of 15eps, you won't find much cringey acts (well, other than Lan's parents which mostly make your eyes roll.. :) )

Bottomline is, this story would be the one you'll remember. Rewatchable for sure, and the motion songs are incredibly enjoyable even though you don't understand a bit but...the songs are touche!

Same storyline from drama “ pink sin”

First of all, I started watching it drama because FL is DJ as well as fighter too so I loved to watch badass FL when I started to watch I felt like this story is somewhat similar to “pink sin” idk when I started to watch same characters are repeated from that drama no change at all! Story changed little bit but story and story line which much similar to that !

If you won ‘t believe just type “ pink sin” and check out ! Idk 😔both leads are nice and pretty good looking why tend to do this dramas .

Really fun but also frustrating

This is actually a really nice thai drama if you can overlook the storyline and production quality. I mean by now i just don't expect amazing quality anymore, thai drama's are usually quite frustrating and the story often feels dragged. But i just love watching them regardless and this drama was really enjoyable.
I'm gonna be honest and say i was actually more invested into the storyline of the second leads. The storyline of the main leads was just your typical haters to lovers type of story with both leads being toxic to each other. Although i usually like enemies to lovers this one just kept being frustrating to watch until almost the very end, then it just suddenly switches which just didn't make sense to me. I heard the drama was supposed to have 22 episodes instead of 15 so that's probably why it felt so rushed.
The chemistry between the ML and FL was fantastic (i actually watched this drama because of the other one they were in together which i also loved!). Same goes for the SFL and SML! All the other actors were also amazing.
I would definitely recommend watching this the ending is so cute but know that it will probably give you some stress ;))

Don't wast your time

sincerely, a big congratulations to the secondary actors that they did not exploit much but arrives all the same stole the show from the main protagonists,

I advise anyone not to watch this series, given the bitter feeling I felt after the end ... the people in charge of the series rushed the end by burning essential stages in the storyline.

I had the impression that the director and the screenwriter come from another planet, the role of the main actress is totally annoying ... At the beginning she declares not to be in love with the main protagonist but wants to take revenge on him afterwards being rejected and humiliated, That said and throughout the series she becomes the rag of the actor. And if you think that the main protagonist is going to pay for these completely despicable acts to him, you are totally wrong that it looks like he is the producer of the series.

I advise not to waste your time watching this annoying show despite the long awaited cast

Ughh boring

I was looking for something love hate and so when I found this I was happy but it was not what I expected. Don’t get me wrong I loved the main leads but the story was nahh and the kissing scenes were boring like why are Thailand dramas always like that . They never kiss properly I hate it. I also loved dawain he was so handsome. I hope he has a drama where he’s the main lead. Also it kept going back and fourth like one minute the main leads would love each other and the.n they would hate it each other like what the heck.

Romance mixed with hatred

TBH, this drama is not much different from the others that I had previously watched. Although the plot is quite simple and maybe is not really interesting as expected, I love its simplicity while enjoying sweet and funny interactions along with fighting scenes between Lan and Mook in the drama. A bit different from the others of similar plot, there is no much of their lovely scenes actually, yet it is considerably sad and upsetting me who is always anticipating lots of romantic scenes happening between them. Here is the point I feel a bit depressed with their relationship when seeing that Mook's love and sacrifices for Lan got no return. However in the end, Mook's love was paid off as the line said in the drama "my love is reciprocated". This is the most touching part throughout the drama. Other than that, another couple, Rut and Petch also impressed me though their love scenes were somehow quite little to me. Despite it is not the best, I think it is a good-to-watch drama and is suitable for those who are loving someone madly and selflessly like Mook and eventually got the true love from the right person in reality.

Started off as one of the best dramas of 2021, but reduced to another of Channel 3's mess of a lakorn during 2021.
Praomook starring the popular couple Pon and Bua was expected to become the biggest hit of everyone's 2021 with lakorn land is reduced to a lakorn where the male lead (pra ek) and female lead (nang ek) have a tom and jerry relationship for 14 episodes. Now that's fine, I think most of us loved Tom and Jerry during our childhood but this lakorn doesn't even have the base of Tom and Jerry's relationship, only the bickering part. Now don't get me wrong I love a good bickering between a couple, but watching two people argue and misunderstand each other for 15 episodes x 2 hour episodes, is not FUN.

Bua and Pon have amazing chemistry, I love them together. I hope they date in real life but, I just cannot tolerate this lakorn I'm continuing only for their amazing chemistry.
Which is sad considering that I can see ALL of the cast put in such a effort in this lakorn only to be awarded by a horrible script and toxic relationships.
This lakorn is enmity of how a couple should and should not be, especially one that's still in the "courting stages". The male lead throws the female lead like she is a piece of trash for the second female lead and continue's to mistrust her now I've had my fair share of dramas in the past 6 years and I can understand if I was a newbie drama watcher but this seems like a version of the Korean Full House all over again and that's where the terrible script comes into place and I cannot continue to take this piece of lakorn seriously, it is boring. Repeat after me, BORING. I'm giving it a high score because of Pon and Bua. Plus for Krating's face and acting. Honestly every cast member did great, all of them have good chemistry with each other but even the chemistry cannot make me ship any character here. Even Petch who was the annoying sister did good here for her debut she had to make a sister that was annoying and petty and dislikable at the start and she did that without coming as cringy and is very believable at 23 years old, I would have never been able to do it if I was asked to act like a petty child but the actress did it well, and no matter what whoever says I did see character development not that much but a subtle change that needed to have more and more change but still a turning point. I could have seen the Rut and Petch relationship work out since the actors themselves have chemistry for me but I don't see character chemistry, the desicion to make Petch 17 years old and Rut into her sister turned their whole relationship from a cute secondary couple to a "ugh, why are they even paired together anymore? Could I have her with Poom? and can Rut just be with Mook?". After all of that, again I need to give a hands off clapping for the actors Bua and Pon who managed with this script despite it being one of the most shitty romantic drama scripts so far.
The character's and plot is what turned me off. Yes, contract marriages are common and honestly I've gotten used to them I'm fine with this troupe, but the script mixed in with this plot again really took things for a turn of worse. At the start, I was like "Oohh a cute contract marriage and with the pretending to be gay troupe! I wanna watch and Bua and Pon! oh mah gosh what more can I ask for", so as you can see this plot had so much more potential despite being cliche but there's no chance to save the plot because the godly writers who I just want to get their address (for thankful purposes jk I'm not a stalker and I am not violent), but the godly writers who decided to write Praomook, they did their job so well making me pissed off for all of the lakorn's duration, that they should be fired for such a great job they did at ruining the script. Wait? That wasn't their job? Then what was? To make the script good? Oh no no no no, the writers never did that they ruined it, isn't that their job though?. Before I go off into a rant all over again, I'll end the rant here.
Why did the script such so much?
I won't give much but having the male lead treat the female lead like a side piece, being all horny, imaging his ex girlfriend who is the cunning second female lead (nang rai) in here, isn't everyone's treat.
The female lead might not be everyone's treat either because she thinks of family last and treats seducing Lan as her main game, while being in love with him 24/7, she hasn't moved on from the male lead and is fine with getting treated as a trash bag as she comes back to him every time and that's what I got from this lakorn.
The first few episodes are not bad, but when it reaches episode 7 you can see this lakorn is well being dragged out and its fine if the lakorn were 22 episodes but Channel 3 decided to be stingy and reduce this lakorn to 15 episodes so everything is dragged out and unresolved, they have 25 things to fit into the last episode and I'll probably update my review if I get the time. There aren't much sweet scenes from the leads we came to watch as every sweet scene gets interrupted by the secondary cast so there's not a option of that, all you can do is FF and FF over and over again hoping to get one look from the male lead but then you get tired and go to sleep.
After my harsh review, over the negative points. You probably know what my resolution on this but you can see the FIN scenes on Channel 3 to decide on your own, who knows maybe you'll like Praomook? and it's perfect for you. I liked the music, although repetitive I am grateful Pon decided to sing the male track version of one of the song's ใจเอ๋ย , and it was an normal soundtrack nothing bad but nothing like Eternal Love's OST and who knows I may put these into my Spotify playlist so the music was not bad LOL. If you decide to watch Praomook, Good Luck! and please remember to take ibuprofen before starting some episodes.

Overall I like the drama, not the best of 2021 Thai lakorn but this one so far is my top for now. Great and amazing castings in the beginning it was a little cliche though, i find it hard and realistic how Prao dance when she dj. The parents were supportive and amazing wether it’s from Mook or Lun side, even if Lun parent kinda took advantage of Mook for there own son life sake. Knowing there son life is in danger, they want to get Mook involve with there son I find it a little bit selfish but even so they do love and want Mook as there daughter-in-law wether it’s a contract or not. And have to say this is the first love hate drama I’ve seen that doesn’t have any love scene or with kiss, usually like every other love hate drama they at least have some mad kiss or cute scenes together, i feel like this drama barely have that cute scenes together, all they do is argue:(but the ending of them were cute, it’s still an interesting and watchable drama for me:)

one thing I kinda not like this drama is because the jealousy of the siblings, hate the fact that there’s always that one sibling that gets jealous, otherwise it’s a good drama. The acting and cast were amazing I love all the cast, especially Pon/Lun.

The castings I love about them:

Pon/Lun love his facial expressions when he’s mad with the mean look, he just can’t get any more handsome. He is a little immature and rude but he have his own reasons to be the way he is, because his life is most likely not be control but live the life his parents want. But even so his words were quite harsh, towards Mook, as much as he wants to love Mook he can’t allow his heart to do it because then his parents will get what they want.

Bua/Mook I’ve never seen this side of her she’s feisty, and such a teaser she play such a strong character. She definitely something in this drama, kinda hate the fact that she keep clinging to Lun as much as she want to protect and love him I feel like she’s to desperate for love from him. Wether it’s revenge, or protecting him I feel like there’s no need for her to be so clingy, especially when she tells Lun she doesn’t love him no more.

Krating/Marut he’s such a caring and amazing friend to the people he’s surrounded. Love the bromance between him and Lun, the acting between them kinda make me forget about the FL because they play there relationship so well lol. Poor boy is lost between who he really have feelings for:( Marut is the lead where most people would have second lead syndrome.

Meen/Poom he is such a cutie, he is the reason why I laugh so much in this drama. Love watching him, every scene of him makes my day he’s always the cheerful and funny guy that will make you laugh.

Wow Trash

OK so I was very excited for this drama, I was looking forward to it because I really like the male lead and somewhat like the female lead. I was just very happy until that is I watched the freaking first few episodes and wow I just couldn’t finish watching it, no more after like episode five or six. Male lead is utterly trash and he disgusts me but female lead is still head over heels for him which makes no sense for me. I watched the ending and they ended up together which I was like bitch are you dumb or what, your going to be with a guy like this OK. I heard he starts being like nicer to her towards the ending which is why female lead was OK with being with him because she was in love with him but none of that redeems his disgusting attitude since he was young until like now. I would never put myself through something like that or fall love with someone like that ever. I would have gave this drama a 0 ratings if I could. Don’t recommend. Anyways Thanks For Dropping By. 😉
