Great pioneer for Korea's sci-fi movies but still lacks many
Since the script was involved and many of the scenes left unanswered, the movie is boring in the first half and the latter was hazy.The cast was decent , yet KTR and SJK not really suit their roles. I like the child actress, YHJ and the cameos tho.
The CGI was okay. The music was underwhelmed. The plot holes kinda intolerable for me.
Why the foreign actors so bad. The police guy acts like a stick.
Overall this movie is not bad. But it wasn't up to the expections. It worths you one time watch.

Fun spacy escapism entertainment
Space Sweepers happen when Star Wars crosses over with an adorbs kid. The show is set on a dystopian Earth, and tackles humans inhabiting space, that's looking less and less inevitable.
Good cast, it's great to see Song Joong Ki again, Kim Tae Ri and Jin Seon Kyu stands out. Waste of Yoo Hae Jin though, as only his voice can be recognized, but I watched the dubbed version (which I regret a lot). There are no subs for the foreign English speaking actors, and I don't hear English clearly now, maybe from years of Asian drama watching and reading subs lol.
I was expecting a lot more Korean cast, but it's good the show is ambitious enough to take a step towards pushing k-ent into becoming more global, even if some look awkward. It feels like a Doctor Who space episode. The plot was far from perfect, there were quite a few 'deus ex machina' moments but the movie is a lot of fun, and always remained hopeful and positive. This is just the right escapism entertainment we need at these trying times.

When space-tech movies like GotG, Star Wars and Elysium meets heartwarming movie like Pawn...
Space Sweepers is new. Have you ever seen any Korean movies with a whole new level of CGI and uses 75% Americans as the casts? Nope. Or at least I never did. To be honest, the storyline isn’t new. You get to see a lot of blasting fires and bombs in space, an evil scientist, and the typical unbeatable team. If you’re a fan of Star Wars or Guardians of the Galaxy, this storyline may be super predictable (my feeling throughout the film lol), however I deeply appreciate how the directors and producers have the courage to try out new genre for Korean films. That’s practically why I gave the story rating high.I’ve always enjoyed Jin Seon Kyu’s acting. Seeing him play as a macho man with a soft heart will always be memorable for me. On the other hand, this was my first time watching Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri’s works. I’ve known them since loooong ago, but this was my first time watching them. Didn’t disappoint. Top notch acting. Kim Tae Ri’s character left a great impression, super badass. Loooved Yoo Hae Jin, his voice is super obvious hahaha, adding a robot character is an awesome decision. And the little kid, she did well in the acting. Thumbs up thumbs up!
What made me love this movie even more is because I get to feel the element of surprise (which I don’t usually get when watching new movies because of the spoilers everywhere). I was clueless about the storyline, clueless about the cameos, almost clueless about everything except for the main casts. So, if you’re going to watch this movie, make sure you don’t get any spoilers or else this movie would be less exciting for you. Don’t even open the film page on MDL, even the cast list before watching!!!!
Overall, a great movie! Totally recommend if you’re searching for something new, and something entertaining. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Futuristic and Interesting
This is the first space kind of story of South Korea and I am amazed by it. The cinematography is great! The plot of the story is very futuristic. The writer of this movie has a good imagination making impossible possible, well that's sci-fi is all about.I love the casting, they're all good even the foreigners. I love that it has different races and languages.
Music/Sound effect are awesome! I'd connected it into a big speaker so I can feel like I am at the cinema.
I will watch it again if I miss Song Joong Ki again.

Not bad to watch, but just good
I'm not into to movie but for Song Joong Ki, I watched this movie. For me, CG production is really great! Interested.But for the start of the movie, it’s a bit slow. I do not understand about this movie, so after the appearance of the girl, Kot-nim then the plot of the storyline becomes more interesting.
Acting for all actors, very good!!! I love Capt Jang, Bubs, and Tiger Park. As for Tae-ho, I like the way his character expands rather than being selfish because he wants money to find Su-ni, in the end he still chooses to save Ko-nim. But I was very sad about Kot-nim's father, I felt for a moment the scene when he was with Kot-nim. And, there are also many scenes that seem unnecessary.
But overall, i like it. Not bad to watch, but just good.

Every time I think about this drama I want to cry
Suni’s story makes me cry every time, I cried when I played it on Netflix I cry every time I come across someone reposting it on Instagram, ok maybe I’m just overly attached and dramatic please don’t judge meI’m already particularly fond of stories about war and how it changes a person so knowing that Tae Ho was a young soldier makes me pity him immediately. It must’ve been so hard, having seen all those terrible things while being that young. He cared for Suni like his own daughter and his guilt for her damaged hearing made him stop killing. But he was a soldier commander, so he was dismissed and dropped from the top of the food chain to the bottom. Seeing the contrast of how he treats Suni after he was homeless for a year really breaks my heart.

And I wasn't dissappointed at all! The story was awesome in my opinion with many plot twists and parts that I wasn't expecting.
I felt very sympathetic with the characters, especially the main four ones. I quickly came to like them and was rooting for them on their uneasy journey. The actors did a great job and I liked how diverse the cast was.
I highly recommend this movie!

Exceeded my expectations
This movie was really something else. It didn’t feel like a regular Korean flick. As you’ll see by watching it, a lot of the characters spoke in different languages. I loved the story in general, there’s a lot to it. The ending really wrapped everything together, and it made me feel satisfied after the tumultuous plot. People watching this movie will see how well it portrays a society run solely on one mans greed and corruption. It was fascinating yet also terrifying, because what it showed felt realistic in so far as it felt like the world could become like that in the near future. I gave the movie 9 stars due some of the characters bad acting. They were side characters, so it wasn’t the end of the world. I only noticed that a lot of actors who aren’t Korean being shown in a Korean film, their acting will tend to be overdone, or just bad in general. SAVE MOTHER EARTH B4 ITS TOO LATE
The story is very typical scifi movie it reminds me of walle(disney pixar movie) and a little bit of star wars inspiration hehehehe. But they did great putting a refreshing asian style of scifi movie where the leads are all asians(korean obviously) and im proud of it. The plot gives me a roller coaster of emotions, puzzled by some plot holes though, and im happy with the ending though it reminds me of guardians of the galaxy if you know what i mean. The acting they did great Song Joongki is really a superb actor kudos to him i like him so much his so good in acting i love him. The FL is a badass as hell shes so hot and feisty i fcking love her too thank god shes a strong character. The BGM or sound effect its so perfect very high production on par with HOLLYWOOD (Bollywod yall should take notes hehehehe). Highly recommended to everyone who loves SCIFI MOVIES yes im a fan it. Thrilling
A film that builds and gains momentum with every scene.I found the plot a little different, with some surprises. Through 'Dorothy', the relationships and personalities of the crew aboard The Victory develop and grow.
It's witty, action packed, emotional and very entertaining.
I loved the diverse nationalities of the cast and different languages, which sounded very natural; often a rarity in Korean productions ~ not one to watch dubbed. Song Joong-ki, Kim Tae-ri, Jin Seon-kyu and the wonderful little Park Ye-rin are excellent, as are the supporting actors bringing wonderful characters to life.
Excellent sfx, filming and direction give this a proper big budget feel.
Great viewing and worth watching more than once!

Even for those who aren't Sci-Fi fans
I won't even sit here and pretend that I like Science Fiction stuff. It's one of my least favorite things ever. It is really rare that I ever like a Sci-Fi movie and I can count on my hands how many I like. LolThis movie will definitely be added to the love list though.
Space Sweepers seemed rare and unique to me. Though I'm sure active Sci-Fi fans will probably laugh at that and be like "Where?" -- that, I can't answer lol. I'm just saying for me, it's unique and I love it. I wasn't expecting to like it at all and I had seen about the show in passing but no one had actually told me I needed to watch it, (but to those that knew I was watching it was correct in saying I would love it. Lol) but I was still curious and I'm glad my curiosity won out. This show was captivating.
There were very few parts that seemed to make me zone out a bit but they didn't last very long and it was quick to suck me back in so I was glued to the screen the whole time. I loved all of the acting and I think my most favorite part about this movie was the multi-language but. This movie didn't have a single set language which totally blew my mind.
Can we just talk about how crazy it is though that there has been talk about living on Mars and then this comes out? XD
Props to the creators for being quick and hella talented to deliver such an amazing story.
If you have followed me long enough, you know I hate when movies have tons of side characters that names you may need to remember, Space Sweepers took me by surprise in having so many memorable side characters! How can so many people have such small parts but make you remember who they are?! If there was anything to say about this show, plain and simple it would be "PURE TALENT"! I can't not recommend this movie to everyone that will listen to me talk about it. Lol
