actually similar
gives off the same eerie atmosphere and the psycho killer is just as sexy (lee dong wook)
its not the same plot although both of the MC finds their true 'hobby'

Both SFH and Burning are brilliant psychological thrillers. Both MLs aspire to be writers while struggling in society because of their financial status. Moonjo and Ben are seriously brothers from different mothers too ^^

It is the people around the protagonists who drive them to madness...in both of them they are made out to be crazy, more so than they are...

SIMILARITIES: (no or really slight spoilers)
- dark concept
- man dragged into dangerous world
- a lot of violence and blood
- morally grey characters and their doings
- fast paced story
- amazing visuals and ost
- portraited torture and sadicstic characters
- Seo Moonjo & Yongwoo relationship can be viewed similar to VegasPete from KP
- Moonjo and Vegas can be considered as similar characters (altough Vegas is more morally grey character, when Moonjo is rather a villian

DIFFERENCES & WHAT TO KNOW
- KP thai drama, SFH korean drama
- KP is definitely lighter than SFH, it contains comedy, which isn't included in SFH
- SFH is more gorey than KP
- SFH isn't exactly a BL (in my opinion there is a strong chemistry + a lot of details that are a bit spicy, but there's no kissing etc. in SFH)
- SFH is a disturbing horror, while KP is more action themed romance

Although Ogre is a bit humorous, it's still dark and intriguing. At some point, it gives similar vibes because of the weird neighborhood, creepy neighbors, insane people, and mysterious crimes happening there.

Both have a character that's an outsider arriving at a place that holds secrets. Both are thrillers with mystery and psychological elements. Both have unsettling characters.

The main question of both: are people naturally born monsters or do their circumstances make them be?

Psychological and suspenseful, Murder Cases, Hierarchy of society, Urban poor, Cinematography, strong and hidden messages and more.

Similar themes of the people around you not being who they seem. There are more similarities, but they would be spoilers.
Both are not for those that get squeamish easily.

So Creepy!
The mc keeps getting this weird feeling that something is not right but nobody believes him/her. That eerie feeling mc keeps getting drives them insane!!!

Can't explain too much without spoiling stuff, but both dramas are about normal people and how interacting with murderers changes them. They give off similar, suffocating and dark vibe.
