The series was not awful but I got to tell you, I have no idea how many times I rolled my eyes while watching this. It was the typical cliché Japanese drama. Naïve female falls in love with a guy. Guy is outwardly indifferent but our naive person is persistent even went neglected, insulted and etc . What disturbed me most about this series is that it seem to glorify the naivety of the female lead. She was clearly talented but also very naïve. I mean that in the nicest of ways. I am noticing that this is a pattern for many Japanese drama. The female lead is very naïve and often follows around or chases behind someone that blatantly disrespect them. Even though there was a reason for it, I found it kind of disturbing that after so many things took place, her feelings were consistent. I can’t recommend this one. I don’t like you, I hate you, leave me alone, I love you.

One Page love is a mini series with an almost cute story.

The main character is still stuck to her past, as she can't get over her ex boyfriend, who has just disappeared. Meanwhile, her best friend is in love with her and wants to make her happy. While trying to reunite with her ex, she meets another guy, a popular photographer, who, surprise surprise, falls for her as well. So, the story pretty much is one of the many others out there, with a cute and innocent girl attracking every guy in the cast. However, the ex boyfriend story was kind of interesting and unique, and kept the drama interesting till the very end. Plus, the ending was happy, at least for some of the characters.

The performances, in addition, were very good from everyone. And the main couple had chemistry. So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

A short drama that suffers from cliché and an uninteresting love story.

This drama had the potential to be an entertaining short story but, instead, several things made watching it frustrating and infuriating.

1) The female lead character has potential but her naivety, recklessness and obsession with her first love make her story very frustrating to follow.
For her teenage love of vacation, she doesn't hesitate to work in a creepy hostess club or to jump into the water in winter to recover a damn strap.
Her lack of survival instincts and intelligence are frustrating to watch. Especially for a boy she only knew during vacations when she was a teenager. Seeing a young woman sicken with sadness, throwing herself headlong into danger and unable to move forward in life due to an unhealthy obsession with her first love is hard to watch when the moral is...that she's right.
She also has no judgment and believes the first comer when it was easy to see the person was threatening her out of jealousy. Also, she should at least give her friend the benefit of the doubt before condemning him for the words of a stranger.

2) The romance between the leads is not believable and infuriating. They remain stuck at their 17th youngself, unable to move on. The FL is depressed (and depressing) while the ML sinks into a dark world while cherishing their memories of times that were (understandably) better. Instead of seeing two young adults find each other again, cherish their memories, help each other in adversity and get to know each other or, on the contrary, realize the past is over and part as good friends we have two people who act like teenager while they're no longer children.
The FL has deeper, serious and interesting relationships with her best friend and her new friend/suitor the photographer with whom she shares many things in common (hurtful first love, passion for art...).

I don't recommend it, it will only frustrate the audience because we see everyone, except the romance between the leads, be a more interesting story.

You Will Relate To Some Of The Characters.

It is a well and very good written drama. About true love and the people around the couple. I felt that these characters were well written as mature adults and what they each have to deal grown and what they have to understand about themselves. No playing around with feelings, no push and pull game. Not a story about rich people and poor people. Just taking a realization that we have grown up and the responsibility that we have. The lead characters had to make tough decisions for there dreams and the family responsibility they are left with. The romance is strongly shown and how to deal with being rejected. The actor were great in their performance. You can see yourself relating to some of the characters.

Cansativo
