Love this
I really love this series.. although i dont read the manhua version but i really enjoy it this drama . And they have a great production like a CGI effect is really awesome and pleasant.. for the story line ofcourse they have a great plot and i really love the tangsan character .. he have a naive and curious but so smart . And the other charater too they are great . I really love the acting for all actor. And u know Xiaozhan is main reason why i watch this series but i really enjoying the plot and whole production . Awesome story with beautiful acting
This series is the best have ever watched. It has so much value and lessons that is hard to find in series. It teaches you patience ,love and team work. The best series. The acting is on point just the way i like my series to be . The characters fit the actors very much. I couldn't have asked for a better series than this. I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about team work, dedication and love this series is the right series for you to watch. This got to be China's most exciting tv drama in 2021. I watched all 11 available episodes and each time an episode ends, I am wanting for more! This is an adaptation of a book of the same name so the story isnt exactly the same ( we should not expect to since the drama is that - adaptation). But boy, the graphics, cinematography, the actors playing each role perfect for each of them, and most of all the acting!, the acting of the leads, and the directing! They're awesome, and on point! The story telling in each episode flows seamlessly onto the next. Perfect 10 for this awesome, exciting drama! Keep it coming, please! Can wait for the next episodes!Was this review helpful to you?
Love it!
So far, i am really loving thr drama. It is the first tine for ne to hear Xiao Zhan dubb his character. He plays the ML perfectly and i wish i have a big brother like him. All of the actors and actress did super well in my opinion. Although i kind of wish there would be more scenes on the romance side, i still like seeing the friendship develops and bloom. Let's continue to support Xiao Zhan with love and encouragement! Sooo happy that he is back on stage and singing and acting! Cannot wait for his other dramas to air!!! Best Fantasy Drama
All previous adaptions of the same fantasy genre have been unsuccessful, either the themes/plots were drastically changed to be unrecognizable from the original novel/anime or the CGIs were poor, and storyline lacked cohesion. For DC, even though there are areas that are different than the anime but the overall main plot and themes remain unchanged. The past life/reincarnation theme is banned in China, hence the storyline was changed and adapted in a smart and cohesive way to make Tang San a more realistic character and emphasis on his growth and development. The struggles and challenges made sense, as well as how trust and friendship are developed. This human side was missing in the anime where Tang San was an almost flawless character. This show is so good that I bought WeTV VIP in order to watch more episodes in advanced but it's still not enough. The show is fun, endearing, and action packed. The CGI, acting, storyline, cinematography, everything far exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, DC could be the best fantasy drama, or even the best drama of the year.Was this review helpful to you?
A GREAT DRAMA TO KNOW THE MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP, TEAM, TOGETHERNESS.
Douluo Continent is great in every aspect, in every field- be it script, acting, direction, CGI - all are on point.
Xiao Zhan did a spectacular job as Tang San. I have to mention Liu Run Nan, the actor played the role Oscar and Rong Rong. Every character is well developed, well built and well maintained. A must watch show with friends and family. It is a perfect balance of drama, comedy, action, adventure and thrill and magic. What more do you want? Highly recommended to watch this wonderful C drama.

Yes, As always, actor Xiao Zhan always delivers high quality works
I been watching this anime since I was teenage, the live action of Tang San plays by Xiao Zhan is on point, he ace it. The acting, the scenery, and omg the EFFECTS!They must used lots of money on effects on this series because the anime I watch has many MANY magical effects so the production of the drama team done a phenomenal job showing it. The casts was great too.
Tang San and Xiao Wu was so fun to watch, I find myself surprise I didn’t find the female lead to be annoying. She was just so adorable and a positive character. I already know the story because of the anime and just watch because of Xiao Zhan to find the differences of the live action and the anime. I’m not going to spoil it for you. I am finishing up this series, I can already tell that’s a well made fantasy with good graphics and special effects.

Xiao Zhan never disappoints!
This drama captures your interest from the first scene and doesn't stop. The cast is outstanding and Xiao Zhan as the lead couldn't be better. Anyone who gives bad reviews has hateful ulterior motives. Watching from America, it is mind blowing to see how hater fans are allowed to continue their destruction.I'm slowly absorbing every episode because I don't want the drama to end. Knowing that Oath of Love and Ace Force are on the horizon gives me hope to see more of Xiao Zhan's incredible talent. What will Xiao Zhan do next? Can't wait.

Amazing Fantasy
I am really enjoying Douluo Continent without any knowledge of the novel or anime. Welcome to the fantasy world of soul masters, soul powers, soul rings and supernatural creatures. The story also involves adventure, friendship, romance and mystery. The story is humorous with a sunny outlook. The characters are down to earth but endowed with supernatural powers. The talented actor, Xiao Zhan, makes Tang San come alive with his natural acting. In fact, he is the perfect choice for Tang San, perhaps because the author of the novel himself was involved with the casting. The Tang San and father team has excellent chemistry. Tang San is kind, intelligent, courageous, modest and loyal with strong principles. I am curious about these: Does his father have hidden skills besides his trade? Who is his mother? The Master is a courageous character with strong principles. In contrast, Ou Si Ke is a hilarious character with his distracting obsession. The cast is large and excellent. The female characters are independent and capable of defending themselves. We follow Tang San's journey as he gets involved with adventurous team work with his buddies from an unorthodox institution. The way he deals with bullying and other issues is inspirational. The suspense makes me addicted to the series, because I want to know what is going to happen next to Tang San and his companions during his adventure in Soul Land.The OST suits the story very well. The CGI are impressive, which is unsurprising since a cutting edge special effects expert was hired for this project. The scenery is beautiful and the cinematography is excellent. In summary, it is an impressive production of a fascinating story. In fact, the author of the original novel provided input to this adaptation, and is very happy with the resulting drama. Thanks to Douluo Continent, I can travel vicariously to Soul Land during this stay-at-home February.

IF U HAVE WATCHED THE ORIGINAL (or have taste) YOU WILL HATE IT
I am a fan of the donghua and I started this because of the good ratings .... what the hell is this? the cgi seems cool and i was excited for a moment but the story and characters have NOTHING to do with the original!!! and the acting is cheesy af and super melodramatic??both ML and FL are terrible actors, how did they pass the audition for this? did they pay the director to hire them? what a disappointment for any true fan of the original material but then again, what else to expect? they never do justice in these adaptations. i still remember the netflix death note utter cringe .....
shouldn't have even watched as much as i did but i was hoping it would get better smh
avoid it unless you're into overrated chinese idols pfft
