This one also has 2 paths the main FL can take when deciding on an official boyfriend. Both stories introduce how a character feels about their very first loves. Kakafukaka is a bit racier........so make sure the kids are tucked tightly into bed before watching.

Both drama's tackle issues of the FL not understanding love, and being confused whether the ML's advances are romantically or sexually charged. The FL in both dramas are played by the same actress Morikawa Aoi, and the ML in Kakafukaka is the 2ndML in Bungaku Shojo. They aren't too similar in regards to the type of drama though, Kakafukaka is much more quirky and odd (and has more of a sexual theme), where as Bungaku is more conventional.

Is it pleasant to be the object of obsession of a perfect man? This is the start of a cohabitation story between a woman who thinks "It's more fun to be fulfilled with my interests rather than love," Waka, and a man who has an unrequited love while doing everything he can to persuade her, Shinobu! Waka, who's a librarian, was looking for a place to move into with her huge collection of books. In the midst of that, she suddenly reunited with Shinobu, a researcher, who suddenly kissed her back in high school while reading Tanizaki Junichirou's "A Fool's Love"...?! They suddenly started living together, and when he confessed that he "liked" her, Waka turned him down immediately?!!

Both series focus on the undetermined nature of the female lead's relationship to the male lead. Suiyobi 22-ji dake no kare is the much more PG version of a undefined relationship, with arguably a time limit on the couple being 'together'. I also just really feel like both series have a similar vibe to them as well.

Tanimachi Mizuho has big dreams of living in Daikanyama and becoming a famous writer. In the middle of the winter, this strong-willed 26-year-old moves to Tokyo from the snowy countryside. Never doubting her ability, she keeps telling herself that if her desire to realize her dreams is strong enough, they will come true. What is waiting for her in Tokyo though, is something altogether different.

Morinaga Kenta is an up-and-coming variety program scenario writer. Kenta moved to Tokyo five years ago, and with luck on his side, he became well-known in no time. Kenta and Mizuho are from the same hometown, and were friends growing up, but their friendship never blossomed into anything else. "Hachiko," as Kenta was known as when he was growing up, just goes with the flow and doesn't really have any big aspirations for himself.

These two, who aren't having much luck with work or with their love lives, suddenly run into each other one day in Tokyo in the middle of winter. Being 26 is a tough point in life because it's too late to think of new dreams, but on the other hand, it's too late to abandon old ones...

In both of the dramas the main actors have to live in the same house.
and also in both cases there is a bit of tension between the actors. it is also similiarbecause both has romance and comedy.
Kakafukaka is a bit more mature though.
anyway I think that if you liked one of this dramas you might like the other too!
