The drama seemed to have a promising start… but it gradually made me want to tear my hair out in frustration. Why? There were those moments where Haru and Shin Hwal had this brother-sister affection but has to be marred by Haru's other intentions which eventually puts a rift to their sibling affections.

I leave my hatred to the writers. There could have been MORE to this drama. They have all the means in the world to evolve the story line into an epic something!

The main characters were all solid ones, portrayed by great actors and yet it flopped and killed my heart in the end. I couldn't say that I feel the same emptiness for the supporting cast because, I find liking the supporting cast more than the main ones. ~_~

There are two constant things that I liked in this drama. One, it was having Song Joong Ki as Ji Poong Ho. I love the persistence and his pure heart of a character. There are so many lines that he said to Haru but this one I like best: "It doesn't matter if you don't love me. I'll keep on loving you anyway." Aaaahh…. How could not the girl fall for someone like that? Geez… the guy's devotion all through out the drama was no joke even if you brought that to real life.

Two, was the lovely music all through out. If it wasn't for the music, this drama would have turned out more draggy that it seemed.

Over all, I couldn't really say I did not enjoy it and yet I couldn't also say I enjoyed it because there are some elements in this drama that was in the mediocre level. The word I could use for this drama is disappointing. Since that's what I was left feeling after finishing all 16 episodes. So don't expect me to recommend this... although, I would recommend the sound track for easy listening :)

Lee Sun Kyun, Lee Jung Jae and Song Jung Ki...whew! Awesome line up! Okay, I liked this story but it was not great. It could have been and it had its moments. Maybe if it did not have such a powerhouse cast I would not have felt as disappointed. I repeat..Lee Jung Jae and Yoon Kye Sang! It is enjoyable and had some really cute moments but somehow it felt boring and I almost stopped watching. One thing I loved was Song Joong Ki. He really steals away every scene he is in.

I absolutely loved this drama. It is going to be a long review so bear with me or skip to TL;DR.

This drama deals with a forbidden love which is clear from the plot summary so if you don't like that you probably shouldn't watch it. But, please don't rate it lower just because you find it offending. Having said that, the drama never really crosses the line.

The plot is good although nothing new. The pacing is right and everything just flows smoothly. There are no misunderstandings, no forced love triangle, no noble idiocy or other drama tropes. This made the drama all the more fun to watch. However, the premise of skating and the advertisement company is laid out in much detail to the point that some would find it boring especially in the first half. I still loved it but found myself using the fast-forward a few times. The dialogs are witty and interaction between the couples (?) are extremely fun to watch especially Haru / Hwal and Hae-yoon / Sang-hee.

Though it deals with serious issues, it's a very light-hearted watch.

I love the cast, the fact that they chose (except for one or two, maybe) pretty normal-looking but incredibly talented people. The chemistry was one of the best if not the best I've seen.

They chose a more "normal" styled cinematography that gave it a realistic vibe and not trying to show us some romanticized, hyper-realistic world.

The OST was second to none. Unlike some dramas that try to use "loud" overpowering music and songs, this drama chose to use soft songs (many of them English or part-English). My favorite is "Little Tiny Baby" by Zitten which I find very melodious and catchy.

The ending was good a bit anti-climatic and vague. It wasn't open-ended but the little vagueness actually made the it more impressive.

The rewatch value for me is high because I loved the interaction between the characters and I found myself immediately re-watching scenes.

TL;DR: I loved this drama and found it to be very refreshing. If you don't mind the controversial plot or you're open-minded enough to not judge, you might thoroughly enjoy this drama. Some people might have to use fast-forward as it might get a bit boring sometimes (especially with the details). It has great characters, chemistry ans OST.

Almost Dropped, but thankfully I didn't.

I almost dropped Triple. The first few episodes were an absolute chore to get through. However, I can assure you that after those few boring pieces of slowness, a good story appears. A good story, a fantastic cast with some good performances, a good OST and surprisingly high re-watch value considering the slowness at the start makes Triple to be a surprisingly good drama - especially considering the overall rating on the MDL page is only a 6.2!

I really enjoyed the characters and character development. The way the characters transformed, the way they interacted with one another, the way that they all had their own story, it was really nice to see. I would actually say it was close to perfection. The story was also unpredictable, in a good way. There are a few times where I thought it would be steered into a, let's say, more 'controversial' direction, but I'm glad it didn't. Apart from the poor episodes at the start, I also thought the editing was quite lacking. Don't get me wrong, this was made in 2009, so I wasn't at all expecting a technical masterpiece, but there were a few glaring errors to things, especially when it came to some camera work.

All in all, I definitely recommend this. If it wasn't for the horrid start, this would have been given a higher rating. I still recommend however for you to watch this. The story becomes really interesting and enjoyable.

Triple has a Great cast, and…… well that’s about all there is to say about this sorry drama.
We always stay on the surface here, nothing is deeply moving or telling us anything meaningful. You’re not expected to think or be moved, sit on the couch like a potato and swallow whatever we give you without questioning.
Sad thing is that I like figure skating or skating in general, but this drama was such a bore.
Could they not do a better job with such great actors?
Song Joong Ki, Kim Sang Ho (love him), Lee Sun Kyun… what a waste ?

Figure Skating. A graceful sport, so I wish it was more on the drama. The plot isn't the most interesting, because all story tells: who falls in love with wrong person. Ha Ru, the main character has been matired a little, but she was pretty annoying, espesially when there was Hwai. In my opinion, Sang Hui was the most colorful person and her relationship with Hae Yun was the most interesting too. As to Hyeon Tae... He's the master of cute surprises, but he sometimes acted like... persecutor?
