Extracurricular (2020)

Many differences between the two, but one similarity is:
Main character getting dragged into a world of blood and murder unintentionally.

This drama is something which I was searching for a long time, I still remember watching how to buy a friend and truly loved the drama...
I was hoping something similar drama must come in kdrama world and with this drama my dream came true..
For a long time i thought there were no good high school dramas airing.. after class of lies
Now I can not sleep at night ...
This drama story is keeping me up till late night
How could everything be perfect similar feelings that I felt when I was watching how to buy a friend
The actors , direction, story ,cinematography , ost ,and the atmosphere...
Love it.. just like how to buy a friend

Both dramas are similar because it shows prostitution and hardships of a student it can be through outcast, being bullied abd many more

They stress me out in similar ways. They start out a little uneasy, and then things happen really fast.

-both main characters are shy and get involved something crazy
-both shows had this ‘illegal’ business thing going on
-also in general from the start the show reminded me of Extracurricular so I had to lol

both shows are about struggling high schoolers with dysfunctional families who are doing odd jobs to make money

the drama High Cookie involves high school students, and illegal business among school students which is very much similar to what happens in extracurriculars. In both dramas, new inventions are made in the first an app, in the second, a new drug. they are paid in cash, not through online transactions. it also involves blood. one similar thing is that the female lead hides their secrets.

Both are short crime dramas involving teens, with blackmail, broken families, and all these elements.
Both start with A crime reveal that leads to a butterfly effect and end up ruining everyone lives.

Both movies touch upon topics like performance anxiety, bulling, and (unlikely) teenage friendships/relationships in high school. While Extracurricular is a more action-packed and dramatized story, Better Days provides a realistic and heartbreaking account of a victim of bullying. In both stories, parental figures remain largely absent and it is up to the teenagers to learn to survive the cruel education system (and life in general). Both the series and the movie do not shy away from difficult, dark (and maybe even taboo) social questions.

In both the main leads are high school students who go into wrong pathways.Both shows the intense pressure these kids experience which makes them take the wrong decisions.

but, extracurricular is a show while young adult matters is a movie. and, their motives for illegally getting money are different from each other.

An entirely different story/plot has similar thrill and suspense vibes. Both are quite comedic and quite psychological themes.

> Demonstrates how easily people can get corrupted.
> The FLs are active in both shows and establish a difficult friendship with the ML.
> One of the leads is well-off while the other struggles financially.
> You get some old-school fighting.
