The vibe is totally different for each of these but, both feature a disabled person working in a clean-up business. One clean-up business is a bit more criminal than the other.

Both are silent movie. Great acting didn’t need words. Audience could sense the story from their silent expression. Both involve plot, humanity, love, slice of life.

Both movie clean the body after death, except “Departure” make the corpses looked good and pleasant for the living family, to have a good closure and in peace. Both movie make the cleaning as a career. One with passion and art, the other one not.
Highly recommend watching “Departure” Japanese movie. Beautifully film.

Both movie are dark. Many dead bodies, bloody. Very raw and organic. None Hollywood like. Good acting. Odd and unexpected plot twist.

-2 male leads end up "adopting" a young girl
Voice of Silence is a lot more poignant and sad. Meanwhile, Pawn had its comedic and happy moments.

Both deal with corpses. One kind of medical thriller mystery, the other one has to do with cleaning the crime scenes etc
