A wonderful love trigle and fun drama.. Love it

It’s the first drama which i m watching while airing.. Normally i don’t wait for nxt episode.. So i watch when it’s finished.. But this time I couldn’t stop myself watching this.. ( Tnx to the Fan pages Of IG ?)

So basically it is a funny love Triangle drama...
Both Main Male Leads ( Cha eun woo and
hwang in yeop) are so handsome and amazing actor.. They are giving their best.. And honestly that's why iy is very hard to make a choice between These two... [ like YOU can say harder than your Math question ? ]
Then about the main lead..there is nothing to say much.. Moon ga young has also done her part nicely..

And i hope you Won't be disappointed with this drama.. Bcoz this story is not fully a webtoon.. So you Won't be bore...

Fun Drama (gives web drama vibes)

look if you're looking for true depth, dramatic, and world of the married type series well then maybe its not for you. if u get frustrated easily, dont like things going in circles, dont like some cringy tropy stuff, maybe u wont love this. (but even then i suggest u try n if rlly not for u then drop)

HOWEVERRRR If you're looking for something
- fun
- highschool rom-com dramas
- interesting story plots, characters and relationship dynamics
- funny
- a little heartfelt + cliche
- moments of frustraition
- classic kdrama tropes + some a twist of it
...i recommend

It isn't very serious at all or melodramatic but there are some serious parts. It is based of a webtoon so there are quiet a bit of comical animations and cliche moments (but i wouldn't say they're annoying, just gives me moments when i feel like eun dan o watching the protagonists). there are like, uk, typical misunderstandings and near misses and triangles but thats just how it be. (Its frustrating to me but oh well) As i write in the headlines, it gives me web drama vibes but not as light hearted (as it is longer and more complex-ish like character wise). The whole vibe is very similar to extraordinary you (directing and editing wise not story line), which makes sense because same director and producer i think. The complexity of characters is interesting, and by complex i dont necessarily meand deep but like not surface level, and they seem consistent(i mean like the way the character acts makes sense (for most characters), even though suho seems cold, when he starts acting a different way its not like how in other dramas when the male lead all of a sudden is nice, like you understand why all the characters act the way they do). (it just sells).The story also does not revolve only on the triangle, although it is a lot of it,there are interesting side plots and stories that rlly got me hooked.

i have my fair share of complaints dont get me wrong, like the mother at least in these earlier episodes, i just cant. but i still really enjoy it. Also not that much of a fan of when ppl cant tell who another person likes EVEN THOUGH ITS SO DAMN OBVIOUS, and also when they MAKE STUPID DECISIONS, but its ok bcs that part of the "fun". also if u binge it after its all done i feel like ur frustration level will decrease by ten folds compared to mine as u dont have to wait for the next episode n can just find out right away what happens next.

For fans of the webtoon i dont think you'll be disappointed. The story is actually very different. (which ig some ppl would not like but i think its good that they did not follow the webtoon exactly cause the webtoon as a drama would be kinda boring as webtoons are short + storyline a little too simple.) They kept the concept and earlier or broad plots the same or similar, but even if you've seen the webtoon you'll still not know what will happen. They differ from the webtoon plot and also go deeper in side plots and more of them. They also added more elements, like family presence/dynamic, new characters and more background information on the mains and those around them. They also went a different route with the triangle (more sped up). With that said i rlly dont think ppl should go into this with webtoon mindset and/or favs (i mean fine for me but maybe not *ahem* seojun lovers) as ofc its different, and scenes with characters might be given to others etc but thats to make the story is better.

As far as the triangle theres no way to do the webtoon plot as she lowkey dates both guys, but i think the writers are doing a good job making the relationship between the characters and their interactions. There are are more scenes (so far) that make the main leads closer and justifies their relationship so it makes it harder to get second lead syndrom

The musics fun and matches the drama. My favorite is how do you do but they stop playing that song makes me sad :(. But i esp love that they have like artists songs, like maria and okey dokey could not get out of my head for sooo long.

In terms of acting outside of the cringy cliche moments i think it's done really well and even in the cringy moments i think they're pretty funny. cliche moments will be cliche and their acting are sometimes a little to exagerated for my taste but still. The cast is amazing, and their chemistry is great.

specific actings:
- Moon Ga Young ahh- IMO she always sells it (like from the dramas of her ive watched) n in this one its the same thing. one scene in paticular i cant stop watching is the maria one. her facial expressions just perfectly matches the character. the mix of confidence and nervousness and cluelessness ahh *chefs kiss*
- People like to say that between the 2 guys they like hwang in yeops acting better and that cha eun woo just isn't up to the rest but i beg to differ. I think his acting is rlly good (esp. compared to ID Gangnam where his chaacter seems similar). For scenes when he was cold ofc it makes it seem like he has not much facial expressions but like thats the character, and his acting shows in later episodes when the character goes through different emotions (akward moments + heartfelt sad ). Idc what anyone says, i think his acting in this one is good. ughh cant get over those akward scenes or when he tries to act a certain way to get her and when he break my heart with hose sad scenes.
- Hwang in yeop's portrayal of seo joon i think is great. He has that anger for suho and bad boy image but in actuality hes a good caring guy and i think in yeop rlly shows this (along with the writing). like in the okey dokey scene omg second hand embaressment was real, but it showed the goofy side of seo joon and when he plays it off like its cool to match his cool image.


also might be biased of the show as i said im a fan of eun woo, also the FL as i saw her in find me in your memory, and the sister (saw her in when the weather is nice) and in yeop in 18 again.

Noia per 14 puntate

Anche i 2 soli neuroni impegnati a vedere questo drama alla fine mi hanno chiesto, perché ? Avrei dovuto droppare fin dall'inizio ma causa le ottime recensioni ho sempre rinunciato, ero io che forse non vedevo, oppure il meglio doveva arrivare. Si le ultime 2 puntate. Ma non si possono vedere 20 ore di programmazione per sole 2 ore buone e le restanti 18 ore mediocri, soprattutto stante le aspettative.
Peccato per gli attori tutti bravi, la storia inesistente, regia idem. Ho visto altri drama con storie banali ma da intese emozioni, qui quasi niente.

Per chi ha subito bullismo o lo sta subendo.

Sono di parte, indubbiamente. Il motivo? Questo drama tratta un argomento vicinissimo a me, ovvero il bulismo e tutto ciò legato al sentirsi inadeguati, diversi, "mostri". Questo drama può sembrare molto semplice, a tratti banale, ma chi ha subito lo stesso trattamento della protagonista o qualcosa di molto simile si ritroverà vicinissimo ad essa e non potrà non simpatizzare e sentirsi lui/lei stesso protagonista di questa storia. Si parla anche di amicizia, di accettazione di se stessi, dei primi amori e delle prime delusioni, del futuro e di come superare l'adolescenza. Ho faticato non poco a trovare le parole giusto per invogliarvi a vederlo, ma mi sono resa conto che non posso farlo. Sta a voi vedere qualcosa in più in questo drama. Certamente ha delle sue pecche, come alcuni attori che dovrebbero imparare a recitare un po' di più: un esempio, Cha Eun Woo sarà anche il più bel ragazzo della Corea ma quanto a recitazione cala un po' siccome mi sembrava di rivedere il principe Yi Rim di Rookie Historian (drama storico/romance super consiglliato).
In the end, per chi pratico di manga, potrebbe sembrare di vedere uno shojo scolastico tra i più classici prendere vita (forse perchè deriva da un webtoon?) e questa cosa mi è piaciuta molto. Messo in lista per un prossimo rewatch.

Queda en mi TOP de romances escolares!

BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVÍSIMO! A lo largo de los 16 capítulos me he emocionado muchas veces con esta bonita historia, que es mucho más que un triángulo amoroso! Este drama regala al espectador, muchísimos momentos desternillantes y cómicos muy bién contados que hacen las delicias de los amantes de las historias locas e hilarantes, pero cuando de verdad la historia es maravillosa es cuando el drama nos hace llorar y emocionar. Sus protagonistas nos han ganado con su química y su naturalidad al actuar. Un 10 a todo, a los actores, a la historia de amor, a los secundarios, a la ambientación, a la música maravillosa y a la cuidada producción!!

Globalement décevant...

Avec sa popularité croissante, le webtoon était aux lèvres de tout le monde. C'est donc avec assez de confiance que j'ai lancé le premier épisode - pensant sans y réfléchir à deux fois que j'allais passer un super moment. Mais dès le deuxième épisode, une faiblesse se faisait déjà sentir...

Les personnes ne sont pas très originaux, mais dans la majorité des cas, ce sont des profils qui fonctionnent. Pourtant, Im Ju Gyeong m'a usé. Elle est supposée être forte, or elle passe son temps à pleurnicher. Si on arrive à ressentir énormément de sympathie à son égard, le scénario va tirer sur cette corde trop souvent et trop longtemps jusqu'au moment où elle va se casser.
Lee Su Ho est le portrait type du garçon beau, riche, populaire auprès des filles, mais solitaire. Le problème de ce personnage est qu'il s'approche trop de Do Gyeong Seok qu'on retrouve dans My ID is Gangnam Beauty, incarné par Cha Eun Woo lui-même deux ans plus tôt. Pas de surprise de ce côté-ci.
En revanche, impossible d'ignorer Hwang In Yeop qui incarné Han Seo Jun. Bien que campé sur trente jolies années, l'acteur dégage un réel charisme et une assurance marquée qui ne laisse personne insensible. Son personnage est probablement le plus développé et intéressant de tout le drama.

Malgré l'adoration porté au personnage de Han Seo Jun, True Beauty souffre de scènes brouillonnes, mal amenées et embarrassantes pour la plupart d'entre elles. Le triangle amoureux est un pétard mouillé, car sans aucune surprise, l'héroïne devient un personnage qu'on souhaite fuir, tandis que la rivalité entre les deux ML n'explose jamais l'écran.

Bref, True Beauty possède un bon casting, mais des portraits types qui ne fonctionnent pas vraiment. Ses nombreux clichés et situations embarrassantes peuvent gêner plus qu'autre chose. Cependant, on retiendra la performance de Hwang In Yeop qui porte l'uniforme comme personne ainsi qu'une magnifique photographie.

Es LA comedia romántica

Es un drama que toca temas delicados y eso me gusta demasiado. Aunque pudieron haberlos tocado mucho mejor y darle más peso a la salud mental y cómo se ve afectada por el entorno en el que vivimos y nos desarrollamos, la familia y las ideas de la sociedad.

Es muy muy divertido, romántico y ese ángulo amoroso te pone mal seas del team que seas porque ambos chicos se ganan tu corazón y ambos merecen ser felices. Pero creo desde el inicio se sabe que Suho es el indicado. <3

Lo disfruté demasiado, me reí muchísimo y mi corazón se calento bastante por la cantidad de romance qué hay. Es muy muy bueno.

Este drama toca un tema muy sensible y también muy divertido

Está basada en un Webtoon que lleva el mismo nombre.

“¡True Beauty es una comedia muy divertida! Vas a reír mucho con las cosas que pasan y las ocurrencias de sus personajes, eso no lo dudes.”

True Beauty es una hermosa historia de amor cliché pero que toca temas muy serios que vale la pena considerar. Me gusta que haga conciencia sobre problemas de la adolescencia que son serios y pueden marcar su vida.

Fue muy duro ver las escenas de bullying, pero mostrarlas fue un movimiento acertado por parte de la producción.

Suicidio Este es otro tema que mucha gente prefiere evitar. He leído más de una vez, que en Corea del Sur el índice de suicidios es muy alto.

En conclusión, la belleza no tiene un modelo específico, cada uno tiene un encanto diferente. Además, es la actitud y el buen corazón de una persona lo que determina qué tan bella/o es.

ns fue lindo

tuve este kdrama en mi watchlist desde que se estrenó y no me animaba a verlo hasta que lo subieron a netflix entonces bue

me leí el webtoon de true beauty (esa wea es eterna) así que aki vamos: me gustó mucho como adaptaron la historia, tiene un montón de clichés ya sé y en el webtoon fue peor así que cuando me vi el kdrama todo me pareció super tranki. y yo sé que muchos se pelearon a muerte por defender a suho o a seojun, yo soy team suho desde que leí el webtoon pero cuando vi el kdrama CHILLE no sé porqué les pusieron actitudes medio tóxicas a ambos, a veces se mandaban unas cosas mmmm pana. tampoco voy a decir q odie el kdrama, la vd me diverti mucho viéndolo y gritando a la pantalla cada q pasaba algo (bueno o malo) y otra cosa que me encantó un montón fue el ost !! i´m in the mood for dancing, call me maybe y love so fine son hermosas. bue, en conclusión fue lindo, cumple su propósito de comedia romántica ??. eso es todo una review medio chota pero es lo q hay

APAIXONADA

Adiei tanto o momento em que eu finalmente iria sentar e colocar esse dorama no computador pra assistir. Desde o início eu sempre soube que ele não iria me decepcionar quando eu fosse vê-lo. Pretendia assistir ele depois de ler o webtoon, mas não consegui aguentar e tive que ir assistir ele o quanto antes.
Eu amei tudo nesse dorama. Não consigo dar uma nota baixa pra ele em nenhum quesito. Tudo aqui foi muito bem desenvolvido e bem feito. Poderia ficar horas elogiando essa produção maravilhosa.

Pontos positivos:
1. Tem um final feliz
2. Tem um trisal lindo
3. Personagens bem desenvolvidos
4. Trilha sonora PERFEITA
5. Boys gatos
6. Boys compreensivos e protetores
7. Romance que surgiu desde a infância
8. Elenco maravilhoso
9. Um quase enemies lindo

Pontos negativos:
1. Sofrimento
2. Separação em momentos inesperados
3. Personagens muito grudentos
4. Protagonista muito escandalosa
5. Falta de diálogos em momentos importantes
6. Muitos mal entendidos
7. Momentos constrangedores entre os casais
8. Um romance impossível de se obter na vida real
9. Poucos episódios (no final você irá querer ter mais episódios contando mais da vida deles ou então querer assistir tudo com se fosse a primeira vez)

O dorama, para muitos, pode não ser o melhor de todos e eu posso até concordar com algumas coisas, mas ele veio na melhor hora para mim e isso me faz aumentar bastante a minha nota.
Me arrependo de ter visto ele? Sim. Queria muito esquecer tudo dessa história e ver tudo novamente como se fosse a primeira vez.
Fiquei triste e chorei ao ponto de dar dor de cabeça. A forma como eles desenvolveram o bullying que a protagonista sofre por ter uma aparência considerada fora do padrão me abalou muito. Sofri muito com as letras das canções. Me emocionei com as tentativas do Seo-jun de convencer a Joo-kyung de vê-lo como um homem e não como um amigo. Não shippo eles dois, porém ver ele machucado desde o início do dorama me quebrou demais. Sofri com a separação do Su Ho e da Joo-kyung ao mesmo tempo em que amei ver eles juntinhos novamente depois de todo o sofrimento.
O dorama não vale a nota que eu dei, se formos considerar ela caso eu vá o indicar para alguém, mas para mim (considerando tudo que eu consegui sentir assistindo ele) ele vale sim essa nota.3

Ta drama to autentycznie dno i wodorosty. Koreańska kalka słodziutkich japońskich historyjek z mang. Drama o twarzach? tych ładnych i tych brzydkich.
Nie ma tu praktycznie nic wartego obejrzenia poza przystojnymi buźkami Cha Eun Woo albo Hwang In Yeopa.
Zero jakiegoś długotrwałęgo wątku. Z opisu się dowiecie że (L)Im Joo Kyung ma problemy z cerą które skrzętnie chowa przed makijażem i dlatego chowa się przed bullyingiem. Jak już wjedziecie w pierwsze epizody to zgodzicie się że problem się rozwiązał po nałożeniu perfekcyjnego makijażu i poznaniu kilku sympatycznych ludzi. Dalej już z automatu dzieje się dramowa próżnia wypełniana prostaczymi problemami + syndrome second lead tak baaaaaardzo boli. Nawet mnie zabolało :( HIY ja cię biorę wszędzie w ciemno.

Jestem zdumiona że ta drama swojego czasu tak pionierowała gdzieś w rankingach oglądalności, ale macie dowód że piękna twarz aktora to cudowny patent.
