Cute story
This is a heart warming family story, 3 generations of women, and how they support each other through tough times. I haven't watched the original, Jane the Virgin, so maybe that changes my view of this drama but I don't understand the other reviews I've read. They almost made me not watch this drama but I'm so glad I ignored them! There were a couple slow parts but overall felt like the drama kept progressing the story well. This is kind of like the Reply series, two choices, and not everyone can be pleased with the choice, I won't give spoilers though! If you want a happy feel good drama, this is a great option. Was this review helpful to you?
I like it!
"Woori the Virgin" is a fun drama. I did watch all seasons of "Jane the Version." If you think " Woori the Virgin" is silly, it is not as campy as "Jane the Version." Both are fun, and they are not serious dramas. If you crave a deep and profound drama, this is not for you; however, this is your jam if you want a fun and light romantic comedy.I am enjoying it, and I love all the actors, my favorite is the Grandmother. My only complaint is it may be too short. If you like a comedic romantic comedy, then I believe you will enjoy both shows.

BORING
BORING...Dumb FL, ML used to be an a$$_ole who now has transformed completely, 2nd ML too good to be possible. Even if the casting was done properly these cliche characters could've been fun to watch. Lead actors lack the energy they're supposed to deliver.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

waste of your time!!
During the beginning of this drama, I did actually like it. I enjoyed the campiness and how goofy the show was.But towards the middle and end... it started going south and the plot made 0 sense whatsoever. ON TOP OF THAT WOORI HAD ZERO CHEMISTRY WITH EITHER OF THE MLS!!!?!? girl seriously had one expression the whole time 😶... Now for the MLs... KANG JAE SUCKS!!!! I honestly can't wrap my head around why people think he was the best choice for Woori.. please explain to me. Also, he would have the same dumb expression on his face ALL THE TIME 😟😟??? WTH IS THAT!?!?! The proposal scene with him and Woori was honestly the most painful thing in the world, it was so embarrassing and cringe 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️.... Probably the most redeeming quality of this drama was Raphael (Sunghoon), I honestly loved him and really wanted him to have a happy ending.. BUT I WAS GIVEN THAT DOG SHIT WEDDING WITH WOORI AND KANG JAE 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I really hope that they make a season two and give Raphael the happy ending he deserves, because what I have heard about the og "Jane the Virgin" is Jane and Raphael get married in the end,, AND I AM PRAYING FOR THAT!! Anyway don't waste your time with this show, it will just disappoint you in the end.

I was happy to watch, disappointed through the series.
Just finished the drama, and never been more confused in my life. As I was watching it, I fell in love with the male lead, I honestly was routing for him. but as I got to the last episode, I hated everything of it. I practically wasted my time watching it. I thought it was a rom-com series, but what's really confusing is everything that was happens before. I was wondering why people were getting murdered, and why people were planning revenge. The male lead wasn't even the male lead at this point. Rapheal was just a fling, a side character at that. I wonder why they put him on the poster if he wasn't a really big part of Woori life, except the fact that he is the father of the kid Woori was carrying. Woori was practically playing with 2 men feelings by the end of the drama, I would literally accept this drama if she just chose to raise the baby without marrying one of the 2. I am not even going to lie; I am guilty of skipping scenes and watching 2x speed because the plot wasn't moving fast enough. Personally, I didn't like the drama. I haven't finished watching the original Jane the Virgin yet, but this remake was not how I expected. I know it's supposed to be realistic but still I think it should have focused on one male lead instead of playing with 2 of them. Was this review helpful to you?
Not even Noah's ark can carry these sexless virgins
The general impression is justified, however, its perceived problem is far from being the only problem. The drama is a good case study to be examined for newcomers in the industry, especially screenwriters. These 14 episodes were absolutely marvelous in stacking up a web of irrecoverable problems. I'm not sure if it takes a talent to achieve that or the lack of it. I didn't major in theater, literature, or creative writing, but I can certainly conclude that Jang Ah Mi, the writer of this abomination, is an inept writer. She had no idea what she wanted to do or accomplish. She even had a reference from the source material to help. Writers like her make me reluctant to get into shows with a screenwriting debut credit. Was this review helpful to you?
A romance twisted 180 mid script … into a disaster.
I hate to comment negatively about a script or storyline in a drama but I’m going to in this case. The twisted love triangle ending just didn’t work. Lea Kang Jae played by Shin Dong Wook has zero romantic chemistry in my opinion. Raphael, played by Sung Hoon, was a shown as a caring, kind loving man, who looked good with Woori, by the way, until they twisted him in the end. They even ruined the character of Oh Woo Ri, played nicely by Im Soo Hyang, by having her do a romantic 180 mid script. Since the drama was only 14 episodes it reeked of development issues which are usually handled with some sort of forced ending that never works out. The romance was terrible but it might have worked if they didn’t twist the ending. It’s almost laughable that Woori ends up with the guy who did everything he could to keep her from having the baby. I wonder if the actors were even happy with this twisted mixed up story. Was this review helpful to you?
Abandon hope all ye who enter her
Watched till the end, dearly HOPING to see something that will justify the TOTAL waste of my time!It starts strong, building a pile of expectations, to then kill you with boredom.
The weird mix of badly written melodrama with pointless thriller/crime drama made me sick to death.
Epic fail on both plots! Most of the scenes make no sense at all, like written by 1st grade student with attention difficult disorder. It even has drops of comedy in it, just to add to the oddness.
Romance is annoying and bizarre... even unhealthy at times. There is no clear ML and SML .
Lacklustre and disappointing !
At least it triggers tons of emotions.... of anger, disappointment and frustration :) after finishing the drama.
After hundreds of dramas this was the one that made me write a review.

Disappointing and Boring
I am officially dropping this after the 7th episode. Watching it became a chore and I am not enjoying the plot anymore. The acting is bad, both from the female Woo ri and male lead Raphael. How can a chaebol son act like that as if he is some spineless dude? Zero chemistry too. Sorry but I really didn’t like their acting. The show tried to inject comedy but also failed. Scenes were corny. Glad I have saved time and moving on to other more interesting dramas. Music? Nothing special.
I don’t recommend this show. Much better see the original Jane the Virgin.
P.S.
Sorry but I just need to get this off my chest. I am distracted by the FL’s nose that looks like Voldemort’s. It takes away my concentration on her facial expressions and acting on screen. Just an opinion.

Below average, terrible ending.
This is only my opinion, others may have a different opinions.Because I always watch the completed drama before I give a fair rating, I had to watch the whole drama. This is drama was below average when you compare it to other kdrama standards. Even though kdramas that are remade are usually better than the original, this drama was worse. The ending is also choking in acting, scripting, and turn of events.
I know dramas are most likely viewed as a mean for entertainment only. But sadly, that is not the case. People do get influenced by what they see.
I truly didn't like the messeges this drama was trying to relay.
