Story: The story is set in Bakuda/Bakaleya high school. Now I love school dramas because I can relate to them because I'm in high school as well. However I really found it interesting to see how schools in Japan are run. The story is really simple but entertaining to watch. I'll admit the boys do fight a lot, but I actually found the fight scenes really interesting. The fight scenes really bought out the characteristics of each boy. The girls were annoying at first, especially Fumie who showed no expression, but they grew on me. I love how smoothly the boys and girls transition from enemies to friends. Another thing I really liked were that the boys, though rowdy, were really sweet, good boys who just wanted to protect their honor and pride. They had so much spirit that I wanted to join their school. I marathoned this drama over 2 days when I had time and it was really entertaining and fun to watch.
Cast: So its seems that this is a cast of rookie actors. The acting honestly wasn't that bad. Some more expression could have been shown, but it was believable. The cast improved with every episode which I give props for. They are extremely good looking so that's a plus as well. The only downside to having such a big cast, was that in the beginning I really got my names confused. I couldn't figure out who was Tatsuya and who was Tetsuya. I honestly thought they were the same person at first.
Music: I loved loved loved the theme song!! Its so catchy! But it reminded me of another song, and it really bugged me for a day. I figured out what song it reminded me of - F.Cuz's No. 1. The beat is the same in both songs. But the song is good, and honestly I think the theme song was the only song played in this whole drama. At least that was the only song I heard. But I really liked it, and it wasn't like BOF where you got sick of hearing Almost Paradise... every 2 minutes.
Rewatch: I definitely think I would rewatch this again if I'm in the mood for a cute, fun, light-hearted Jdrama.
Overall: Really good, fun Jdrama. I would recommend to anyone who wants something entertaining to watch which won't get them too emotional.

Story: It’s a mix of Jdramas Tadashii Ouji no Tsukurikata, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, and Life. So nothing original about it but still enjoyable. I liked the idea of the 2 gender groups coming together to stop outsiders from ruining their schools reputation and trying to get them to shut down. I was hoping for a little more on the romance front but maybe they’ll be closure to the pairings in the movie sequel version.
Acting/Cast: The acting in this was pretty much a joke. No seriously I laughed in scenes that were supposed to be serious. The 2 female lead actresses made their characters come off as fake, robotic and sometimes creepy. The 2 male lead actors were a little better but one overacted while another underacted. It was really distracting when there will be scenes with both female and male idol groups all in one room and then you get random idols have one liners when you really should be focusing on the 4 leads. I feel like I didn’t connect with any of the main characters because you don’t really get to know each one.
Music: I liked the “Shake it Baby” theme song cause it was really catchy and makes me wanna dance. The other song I assume is by the girl idols and it matched the teeny angsty scenes.
Rewatch: I doubt I’ll watch this again just because the acting was really distracting.
Overall this is a typical school idol drama so don’t go into it expecting much.

I came across this drama when I was randomly looking for new stuff to watch. I didn't expect to really get invested in the story but I have to admit when it started, even though it was wild, I loved the guys passion. LolIf you followed my updates watching this though, you know I hated this show. Lol Okay, I didn't hate the show, but I did hate the females. Nothing pisses me off more than people coming in and think they instantly own everything and do as they please. I can not stand when someone thinks just because they have money to do what they please makes everything okay. When they called the guy's things trash, it really drove me up the wall especially when you see the flashbacks of Tatsuya and his brother Ren. His brother loved the school so much so of course Tatsuya would only feel the same. So for the girls to call things "trash" is like calling his brother trash... even if they didn't mean it that way. I think those that have lost someone close to them will understand what I mean about this.
I wanted to give up watching this show so many times but because I was in so much and the episodes weren't that long, I held in there. Lol plus, I really had high hopes of wearing the girls down. Lol --I feel like that last one would never happen. X_X another thing that kept me going was the hidden gem in episode 6. Lol Gah he was such a asshole in this show. But I was shocked he was in it. I was like "hold up. Is that who I think it is?!" Yes... yes it was. Lol I'm not even mad. XD
Anyway, I digress. I'm not sure how the teachers let the guys school get as bad as it did though. Honestly. It's like teachers didn't exist until they were like "Well... maybe if we put these rich girls in here, they'll calm down .Damn near drove me nuts. Not to mention, I honestly felt like they were the only class in the whole school. Nowhere are other students shown until the very end when the gym is full and I was left sitting there screaming "WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!?" at the screen. Lol. I don't think that was thought through very well.
I don't understand that ending either. Like I do, but I don't. It was left open to me and I hate open endings. Why did they suddenly start fighting each other? Was this what we were seeing in episode one? I'm confused. Lol But then again, I did sleep between episode 1 and the last episode so I probably missed a lot. Not to mention, they character dropped like crazy through this whole thing. I hate that. I hate not knowing all of the characters and to make matters worse, they were all technically main characters. I couldn't tell you half of their names unless I was looking at the cast preview. X_X
I will say this though, I was right from the start about the co-ing. Lol I knew putting the girls there wouldn't change much, but it did change them. Which I'm glad. They were like heartless robots and it drove me insane but the longer they were around the guys the more they started to seem to let lose a bit and realize it was okay to fight back about things you really care about. As for the guys... well... it was interesting to see them change a bit too. Lol They weren't complete cavemen but I'm glad they kept their passion and fought for what they loved. Am I glad they always fought? No. Hell no. But what can you do? Lol
This show really gave me High and Low vibes though.
