Eeeepp!! Donghae! ? ? ? I could go on and on about how gorgeous Donghae looked in this drama!! But lets just review the drama first.

The story was so predictable! I knew what was going to happen from the very first episode, in fact, from the first few scenes. It's not like I read the plot or story-line somewhere else, it's just that the story was very very predictable. At least for me. But that didn't make it any less interesting to watch. Because, even if I figured out how everything was going to end, I still didn't know how everything would unfold. So that was interesting to watch. But the plot-line in general was loosing some reality.

An issue that I had with the drama was it was too confusing in the beginning. It was like I started watching it from the middle instead of the start so there was no introduction to the characters or anything like that. They did eventually get to that but it was frustrating in the beginning. Plus, I don't know if it was the subs or the drama was actually like that, but I didn't get some of the things. Some actions and words were really confusing. So if it weren't for Donghae, I probably wouldn't have watched the show.

The acting was pretty good. Donghae did an amazing job! I liked Choi Jin Kyuk too. I have to say, out of everyone, Park Geun Hyung was the best! Seung Ji's and his grandfather's relationship was so adorable! They seemed like real grandfather and grandson. And I noticed, Donghae acted best in his scenes with Park Geun Hyung which shows that he was comfortable with him the most. Out of all the relationships in the show, this relationship was my favorite.

My second favorite relationship was Seung Ji's and Won Il's friendship. I've never shipped bromance in my life! Ever! (Except in the earlier seasons of Supernatural.) But I just loved Seung Ji's and Won Il's relationship! It was so cute, the way they teased each other and looked out for each other ?

My third favorite relationship is the romance between Seung Ji and Pan Da. It was really cute! ? It was like 'teenagers in love'. But it wasn't really my favorite romance. And I don't think it was the main focus of the show either. I think they gave more importance to the friendship, which is good.

I didn't really like Pan Da as a character. Don't get me wrong, I love Yoon Seung Ah! I first saw her in Playful Kiss and I really liked her then. And I think she's really pretty and she did a good job playing the role of Pan Da. But it's the character that I don't like. Though I can't really pin point what I don't like about her. Maybe I'm just jealous she got to kiss and date and hug and lay in bed with Donghae.. *crying*

A character that I really liked, and will probably remember for a long time, is Eun Bi. I don't know why but I just loved the way she spoke! It wasn't elegant or anything, I just found it... amusing. And she was really cute and funny ? I also loved Won Yi! She was so bubbly and lovable!

All in all, it was a pretty good drama. I wouldn't go around recommending it but I wouldn't stop anyone from watching it either. If you love Donghae (like I do) then this drama is a must-watch. Gosh, Donghae looks amazing in the drama! Not that he doesn't look amazing elsewhere. But seriously, I was swooning over his most of the time, so the flaws of the drama didn't even matter to me.

Oh and I almost forgot! The music in the drama was amazing! My favorite songs were Please Don't by Donghae, Don't Go by Donghae and Loving You by Super Junior K.R.Y.

A so so drama that tries to be cute and fluffy, but the performances don't allow it. Okay, the story is predictable, as it is confusing. So, the lead male was really weak and his performance kind of ruined the romance for me. He wasn't bad, but he has no emotion and no chemistry with his co star. The girl was good and cute, as well as the rest of the cast, but that guy...!! Another thing was the predictable story. Though it was a nice idea, the fact that everyone figured it out the same day, when they must had for like years now it was silly (I can't explain it properly, because I may spoil the mystery...) The desert making was interesting, though it was obvious they didn't cook the deserts themselves. And the shop battle was interesting as well. So, 3 out of 10 for this drama.

i really liked this show at first but by the time the end came around i had sort of forgotten what i was even watching. the story was suspposed to be about the titular panda and hedgehog but that really only gets front and center for about 6 episodes right in the middle. it never stops being entertaining, but the change in direction makes it less fun than it would have been if they had kept the focus on the romcom andthe characters instead of some conviluted makjang plot. i was about half way through when i speculated this would be better to watch in a marathon and now that i've completed it i'm even more convinced.

maybe i need to go back and rewatch some of the back story, maybe the subs didn't quite capture what was being said, but there were some parts of the back story (which really became THE story) that seemed to change as the thing progressed and other parts that simply do not make any sense not matter how hard you try to spackle that plot hole with drama logic.

there were some really fun relationships in this drama and some really awesome characters. Choi Jin Hyuk's pouty little boy act is enough to make it worth watching, but there are some great supporting actors too like Won il's sister, grandpa and hedgehog's boys. i didnt expect a whole lot out of Donghae acting wise, but he's surprisingly not SUPER awful and IMO he's better than Siwon. the only performacne i was REALLY surprised by was Pan Da. i was shocked at her perma-face googly eyes and mooing. she was soooo awesome in the moon the embraces the sun. maybe she spent too much time around the mole and the bad acting just rubbed off on her.

I just finished watching this drama 2/9/19 1:20AM
And I am very honoured and glad that I finally watched this. I saw this a while ago on Netflix but always ignored. When I finally dont have anything to watch I finally clicked it and YUP. I began to watch it like a marathon. I love the chemistry, lessons and Past experiences. I love how Dochi oppa Never give up even if his obstacles are hard to accomplish. I hope I can use what I have experience from this drama as a lesson in love. The last episode gave me tears and OFCOURSE full of laugh. The chemistry between the Grandpa and Dotchi was my fav tbh. And The bromance and aslo Panda and Dotchi but THE GRANDPA IS MY FAV. The OST IS HELLA GOOD ESPECIALLY THE SONG OF DONGHAE OPPA. Don’t Go. IMMA MISS THIS DRAMA. I really recommend thiss. I will surely watch this again especially the CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE GRANDPA????????????

I came for Donghae, I stayed for Donghae.....
This drama was really hard to watch. The acting is fine, although they started writing the female lead differently after the first few episodes and she becomes less likable. The story itself begins well but soon drags. I made myself watch it because my mama didn't raise no quitter (and i hate seeing anything incomplete on my watch list lol). I will say i kinda wanted to make cakes after watching this, but would I watch it again? Nope :)

Oh dear Oh dear! A great program to start with. The love storey and all that, but at some time in episodes 12/13/14 the writers seem to have lost interest in it and literally lost the plot !!! Either they smoked a bad batch, or decided they just couldn't be bothered to put any more effort into it.
Sad really because it was a lovely tale of young people falling in love.
What a waste of good talented actors.

I liked Panda and Hedgehog but I didn't love it. The cast is very easy on the eye and the acting is good except for Lee Dong Hae. But I found the back story confusing at first. One good thing is it didn't drag anywhere, the last episode had a few flashbacks but stuff happened so.. good ending.

Now lets talk about the beautiful cakes! who can make beautiful colorful cakes and cookies like that? and how much would they cost? If you could find the clientele you could really rake the money in!
I wish I could taste them!

in conclusion I didn't love it, but I love cake!

This was a fun show to watch. I thought the show was great. It made me mad, sad, happy but all in a good way. I like that it was about a bakery store and the people in it. The romantic was good too. The script was well written. The actor and actress did a great job acting. The actors and actress were never annoying at even for a second. I loved all the actors and actress that they hired for this show. I think they did a great job casting. The translation were also well done. The character development was good. I was never bored while watching this show. The dessert always looked so good. I just wanted to go there buy all the food they had and eat it myself while watching this show. The plot of the show was good. The makeup, hair, and outfits were all good. I liked how this show was set in a bakery.

I didn't feel a lot of chemistry between the leads

8/10 is how I rate this drama. It is a 2012 South Korean drama spanning 16 episodes. Da-Yang (Yoon Seung-Ah) is an optimistic orphan who is determined to save her family bakery to honor her parents. Go Seung-ji (Lee Donghae) learned how to be a top patissier in prison and is looking to get his life back on track- if only he would be given the chance. Panda takes a chance on him and her bakery is quickly saved by this unlikely knight. There is mystery surrounding his past, his family and why he is so driven to outshine the current to bakery.

Spoiler 🚨 All of the side relationships in this were really interesting to me. There was a beautiful family element to it. I loved the relationship/bromance between the lead and side lead. It was great that they wound up being brothers. I loved the relationship he had with his grandfather. I didn't mind the Panda and Hedgehog relationship but I wasn't all that excited about it either. But I loved the side characters so much that alone made it worth it.

This drama has no in-betweens u either like or hate so

I was really many times confused
As i was in roller coaster sometimes liked &
Most of the time don't

The insisting about linking every thing to childhood was really provoking
And illogical at all

How can any child remember all these details about his 6,7 yrs old
And love strongly like that to wait for the other person for yrs while in real life we couldn't remember most of our childhood

And how the grandfather discovered his grandson by this naive way

Most of the characters was really provoking in the attitude

Specially panda friend she is a real selfish B**ch

Panda was naive till the limit of stupidity many times as if she didn't 've any brain

The character i like the most was choi won yi the younger sister for both MLs
Nice ,optimistic & fair

The drama provoked me more than enjoying it

Many flaws and many bla bla about childhood first love
And many illogical events
