What the everloving heck?
Okay, not my fav genre, but I thought I would give it a try. I think I've watched a fair amount of C-Dramas and comedies to tell if it's cultural or just bad acting...FL, just bad acting. It's almost like the facial expressions are there, but she lacks emotion behind it. At one point while leading up to a kiss, her eyes looked.dead. I wanted to tell the ML to run while he could.FL character is selfish and immature, and maybe it's because of her loving parents, but I sincerely doubt it. Being a career woman, I can understand wanting to making it on your own, and being a chubby girl, I can understand a lack of self confidence navigating bad judgement. However, this was too much. The gurl is emotionally vacant and I real doubt I would enjoy a book she wrote.
ML may have bullied her, but he made up for it in so many ways. I did like when then would look at each other and seemed to have a conversation with eyebrows alone. ML was awesome with a better range of facial expressions and emotions.
Side "villains" were annoying. Why can't the ML just say I wouldn't take your hot mess even if I broke up with the FL. I guess that would defeat the purpose. I watch the entire thing until the end, but really just stuck it out because I was already invested. I hope to see the ML in another drama without the FL, and a better plot. I always wish there were more older ML. Too many Flower boys trigger my allergies.

A kind of love story
It is a love story ,simply a love story ,not much conspiracy , a small conspiracy created a misunderstanding and jealousy which create breakup among the leads which showed at the last few episode .Drama started with the little introductions of the lead and they got engaged due to some reason and then husband shows indirectly concern and love towards her ,not allowed anyone between them and all the time pursue him .this had been shown in starting of the drama . Wife side she just want to achieve her goal and husband help her in any possible way .
This my view towards drama. Not like much te story but love to see love story so watched all episodes.

This was a difficult one for me to review
Thankfully this Chinese show was only 24 episodes, which is short, so they weren't able to drag things out TOO much. What I liked:1) Chemistry between the leads. They had amazing chemistry and there was a lot of skinship, with no open-eye, dead fish kisses. I must say that I think the "candy kiss" is one of the best I've seen. Their height difference was really cute as well.
2) Ming Ren as Lu Bo Yan - he was a lovely character. He appears cold, but has emotions that run deep and are long-lived.
3) Cute, romantic scenes.
What I didn't like:
1) Can we talk about the dubbing? Why, is what I want to know. Most of the voices are so irritating.
2) The character of Su Jia Nan. I think Serena Cheng did a good job, because I really did NOT care for this character, overall. She was selfish, self-absorbed, immature.
3) Secondary couple - just irritating.
4) Obligatory "girl that wants the guy". He never had any feelings for her, but she just will NOT give up.
5) The getting together, breaking up, getting together, (you get my point). They never seemed to learn from their mistakes. So this constant back and forth made the show seem even longer than it was.
All that said, if you want an overall cute show, with a couple with excellent chemistry and not too much angst, you might enjoy this.

what is wrong with the FL?
disliked the FL on ungodly levels.ML deserves better.
They make a cute but toxic couple. FL clearly values herself and her career more than everyone around her. She neglects her husband and develops a complicated relationship with his enemy. This doesn't make her a strong independent woman, but a selfish and stupid jerk.
Her behaving like this was also the trigger for the ML to explode and act overprotective at times.
She literally spent the night in a room with another man. yes, nothing happened but your husband deserves an apology and explanation. Characters were poorly written and gives out not a very good message.
Maybe its cute because its a show but if you meet someone like this in real life, RUN.
The second leads couple was weird too. They were like friends with benefits than lovers. Overall, I'd give this a 4 at max.

a charming male lead and romantic moments, but a frustrating female lead and predictable plot
"Love in Time" is the definition of an average drama, hitting both sweet spots and sour notes along the way. As a seasoned binge-watcher, I found it had its charming moments, but it also came with its fair share of frustrations. The show kicks off strong, with a sweet reunion between childhood friends who eventually fall in love. The male lead (ML) is a real gem – kind, supportive, and charming. His chemistry with the female lead (FL) brings plenty of heartwarming scenes, especially when they're being all romantic and cute together.
But then there's the FL. She often comes off as self-centered and kind of annoying, which makes it hard to really root for the couple. Her behavior towards the ML can be pretty frustrating, which takes away from the overall romance of the show.
The plot itself is pretty standard fare. Childhood friends reuniting? Check. FL needing to marry to inherit her dad’s business? Check. It’s a trope we’ve seen a million times, and it doesn’t really offer any fresh twists. Plus, the second half of the series starts to drag with unnecessary drama from secondary characters trying to sabotage the main couple. It just feels like filler.
On the plus side, the pacing is decent, and there’s always something happening to keep you engaged. But the lack of background music and sound effects in key scenes can make things feel a bit off and awkward.
All in all, "Love in Time" is okay. The ML is great, and the romantic moments are sweet, but the repetitive plot and annoying FL make it just an average watch. If you’re a seasoned drama fan, you’ll find it enjoyable enough, but it’s not something that’ll stand out in the sea of romantic dramas out there.

Love story with ML and FL who do not fit together
This is just another take on a point which was already presented in several other reviews here. The drama is listed as "fake marriage evolving into true marriage" and "hate relationship into love relationship". The problem with that, however, is that the ML and FL simply aren't compatible with each other. This was actually the first drama where I honestly wished the main heroes won't end up together and will go their separate ways. Generally the blame for that (here as well as in Youtube comments) goes to the FL, but in my opinion the the ML isn't without a fault either, and in the end it's really just a natural conflict between two people with different stances and expectations. The ML is in love with the FL from the very beginning (aka there was no "hate phase" for him), and as a result he turns somewhat overpossessive and ovejealous in the relationship. Conversely, the FL seems to never reach the true "love phase" - most of the time, she takes the ML at best as her buddy/good friend, who certainly has a place in her life, but is barely worth a compromise (not to mention sacrifice) from her side. Good pairing for a drama, just not one with the "love" adjective in it.

Fast moving drama with good chemistry
Like the chemistry between the couple - very sweet together. Good that the drama is fast-moving with little draggy scenes. So conflicts and misunderstandings do not drag long and are resolved either within the same episode or at the longest the next episode. What I didn't really like was the fact that the FL and ML did not really change in her character. Both did not improve their communication skills or anger management. Many conflicts arise because one party just jumped into conclusion based on whatever that he has heard (which is often not the complete story or just a snippet of the full convo) - without bothering to find out more. At the beginning, I could understand because of the fundamental mistrust the girl has of the guy. But it was disappointing that nearing the end, the trust level was only slightly better. The guy has so little faith that the girl likes him and was overly jealous. But I could understand this slightly given the fundamental mistrust the girl had in him for so long - and his insecurity due to his childhood trauma.
This is aggravated by them saying thinks they do not mean in anger...
But I think the FL is more at fault in this case. She is never very communicative of her thoughts. She is not understanding of the guy, who has seriously done too much for her. She knows of the fundamental mistrust the ML has with the guy chasing the FL and she done nothing to try to understand why or to even accommodate the guy. I think a relationship is about give and take, except in this case it is the ML doing all the giving and the FL all the taking - and in the process of her taking, she did not even consider the feelings and insecurities for the ML and refuses to compromise for him on some matters.
But nonetheless like the show because of the sweet scenes, and good chemistry and that conflicts are resolved quickly.

It was alright
No major spoilers included. I just always mark spoilers included cause I hate when shows are ruined for me.So, I watched this show a while ago but after watching a clip on YouTube felt like I should add my 2 cents on this site. I thought this show was really good at first. I thought they were a cute couple, it was a little cliche and a bit overacted, mostly on the FL’s part (I normally notice this less if I’m reading subtitles), but it was average run of the mill contract marriage story. From the start though I started to see things I just didn’t understand
The FL’s chosen career- maybe it is just me but is anyone else annoyed by how, seemingly more than not, like 75% of the time FLs in cdramas want to be either a web toon writer/animator or a manga artist. I have a degree in art, I get loving to draw but, and maybe I’m wrong, is every Chinese woman an amazing artist and writer and do they all want to become animators? There’s this show, Feel at Ease mr Ling, Be with You, A love so beautiful, there are more but I’m having trouble thinking of them any time I see this trope I’m like she’s gonna use the ML as inspiration and they’ll fall in love. Wow! What happened to careers like teacher, doctor, grocery store clerk?, curator, mechanic, secretary, maid, lawyer, banker, the list goes on I’m so sick of this trope!
The set up- She doesn’t want to take over her dad’s business ok whatever but it seemed like part of the reason was she was ashamed he got rich from making lingerie and was made fun of for it. Do you know how popular I would’ve been had I had a rich parent who made clothes, so many people would want to be my friend just in case they could get a discount or free stuff,
The FL is awkward and selfish- she expects that everyone will cater to her will and change for her but does none of that herself. Like I can get that she is inexperienced in love and she’s using the ML as inspiration for her story but omg the scenarios and things she does are so cringe although he seems to like some of it. That whole set up makes me feel like she is using him. She also never takes other people’s feelings into consideration and keeps doing what is best for her despite the cost and with very little consequences. Also the 2nd ML I would’ve liked a scene where she straight up told him no and to stop pursuing her because he was clearly interested and messing up her relationship. Even when the ML asked her not to hang out with him she still continued. I’d understand her not listening if he was at all domineering and jealous but he wasn’t, she had other male friends and the ML didn’t care. Even if she had no feelings towards the 2nd ML he clearly needed to be told and if he didn’t respect her feelings she should’ve stayed away. They try to make her look really nice but she has really selfish tendencies,
And nobody ever tells her she needs to check her privilege.
It’s a sort of cliche and easy drama. The FL is irritating, selfish, and immature and the ML I found, looks wise cute at first but on further inspection a little creepy, idk why and yeah it’s a little shallow. Lacks depth, creativity, and I’ll probably never rewatch more than the occasional YouTube clip. I’d go elsewhere if looking for a good drama to watch.

Nice start, disappointing course
I join the general opinion in this forum: The FL,Su Jian An / "Jane", really offers a nasty spectacle. No idea who is saying "good night" in the minds of the authors. Maybe Santa Claus and Easter Bunny.Nothing happened that night, that's how it is presented. In reality, everyone knows it, "it" happens without fail. It is only due to a mendacious movie morality, as it is presented.
And, friends of the night, we all know that. That's why the criticisms of the story and FL are so justified here.

A lot of kissing scenes!
Very cutesy, sugary sweet rom-com with a lot of kissable moments.I love cheesy C dramas and this one pretty much checks all the boxes.
Things I liked:
- The actors are older (mid thirties) and boy they don't look it! I was happy to see there is only a 3 year age gap between the actors.
- The wardrobe was pretty good when it wasn't on repeat. Since the actress is a rich girl, she wore a lot of Chanel and Gucci (the classic looking stuff, not the gaudy stuff).
- A lot of sweet, OTP, cheese ball moments which I am addicted to when I watch C dramas.
Such as:
fall kiss!,
rescuing the damsel in distress,
stand up for your women in a crowd of haters,
giving gifts and no limit credit card
dancing, catching eye moment scenes
and it goes on and on ....
I mostly enjoyed the drama, except for the last 4 episodes and the side couple. I felt like the drama had enough drama for the first 20 episodes and I was fine with a bunch of fillers and more cutesy moments, but there was extra drama thrown in and it for me felt like it came out of no where, or it was just too repetitive and I will admit I started to fast forward.
I wasn't a huge fan of the side couples. I didn't really feel the chemistry and there wasn't an organic connection for me.
Overall, first time watching the drama with the leading FL and ML and I'm a fan. I hope they get more leading roles because the chemistry between the two was really good. Like I said, a lot of kissing scenes!

Lucky to have been loved by Ottoman
Sounded good with an opening of the ML carrying his love for the FL since middle school and always secretly supporting her. The FL conveniently needing a marriage partner to avoid inheriting her family business gives him the opportunity to be with her. Throw in an obsessive actress in love with the ML and you think you have a light, mostly happy with some light love triangle romance with the FL and ML perseverance helping to drive the plot along, but no.As you watch, the FL is increasingly awkward, more self- centered, selfish, useless and a spoiled crybaby. It's no wonder the FL's conflicting feelings had to be animated with angel / devil SD characters. With a "I'm sorry" all her problems are easily solved. What bull.
The FL barely displays any trust or love towards to ML and constantly will believe everyone but him despite all circumstances proving otherwise. The "love" scenes start feeling like it's just physical and lacking in any emotional or spiritual elements. You start hoping the ML gets his happy ending with some less torturous character [not in this story line] and... bits of a "do-over" sentiment is portrayed during a bout of convenient amnesia.
