REC

Happy ending full of romance

in my opinion this film is pretty good, the acting is very good, especially the female lead, and male cry scene,,, but in my opinion there are some parts of the story that are a little forced, some characters have acting that is a little forced, and little anxious, the mood of the story takes too long for me, some scene i watch with 2x speed, dialogue is not weighted, Somehow it sounds like crap (not all),,

additional scenes that were not previously shown.exist, but only as needed, not to confuse the audience into thinking that there are parts that are cut off by the website or other media and missed by the audience

### all of this is just an assessment of myself, because the drama that I've watched are quite a lot so the expectations that I give are also quite high###

Make your own judgment when watching this film.

This one is cute la. I was really drawn in by the tenacity and determination of the main female lead in trying to achieve her goals. The main male lead was okay only on his own, but I did like them a lot better as a unit.

Liked:
- storyline was really cute. I really appreciated the secondary and tertiary couples as I felt like they added to the story versus being really irrelevant like much of the time in other dramas.
- mean character made the show really entertaining and I really enjoyed/felt good when the main female lead won out in the end!
- good ending! felt like it all really came together at the end

Disliked:
- some of the acting could have been better
- there were parts that felt unrealistic but honestly because everything else worked well for me, I did not really pay much attention to it

If you want something easy to watch, that's light, fluffy, and cute, watch this!

First of all, I watched this on youtube and this is my first time watching drama that still on airing, because I always hate it to wait every week for another episode. But this drama really attract me! It is very light and entertaining drama.
Since the first episode, I know this is will be another fav drama for me.

The main lead is very handsome, charming and his acting is good too! At first, i think that this drama will be like the other CEO stories, but nooo.. this drama is so fun! And not to forget the female lead! I've watched her previous drama, which is my true friend, but her acting skills really get better in this drama. She is cute and pretty too!

I really love the stories between Ye Fei Mo and Wen Xiao Nuan, they are so cute together. And not only the main couple, but the story of their friends Jia Yi and Gu Yun Zhou also pretty interesting. Oh yes, and I really like Fei Mo mom. She is the best, because she isn't like the typical rich mom that we usually see in the other drama.

HEY GUYS!!!!!
Okay not going into any long stuff so here we go.
1) Story- Got so say this is one great story, it really get you going up and running its very unique and I personally find it so refreshing from other dramas with the same properties like: Pretty man and well intended love. This drama is quite carefree in a good way. This is a drama you should waste your sleeping time and you know you wont be disappointed.
2) Acting/music/Rewatch value- The acting is so accomplished plus there are new actors so this show is a really big deal to them. Music terms was right on the spot beautifully done. Rewatch value for me is extremely High cause its just perfect.
Thats it I hope u enjoy my review and find is helpful.

No apologies? Sorry, I'm done

The OTP in this Drama had real promise, and I enjoyed the first ten or so. Then they started doubling down on the tsundere. The ML got worse and worse in terms of his refusing to apologise for all the hurt he caused the FL and being angry at her all the time when he was in the wrong. SHE kept apologising, despite having done nothing wrong.

The clincher for me was in episode 21 when, instead of apologising for his behaviour, he grabbed her by the wrist, dragged her away and said "now you need to trust me" No apologies, no explanations, just the AWFUL wrist grab and "trust me, because I"M A MAN" I got so angry I just had to drop.

I don't mind tsundere in small doses, but this archaic trope of the bullying bruised rich kid who expects that "his" woma n will understand and excuse everything he does without question is not remotely romantic. When the Drama is nearly 2/3 done, there should be clear evidence of growth in the character. Blaming the FL and expecting her to be the one to say sorry for the "sin" of not having blindly trusted the ML who gave her no cause to trust is aggravating. Dragging a woman by the wrist is ugly and repellent and a trope that needs to die - NOW.

This is worth watching!!!

I came across this drama in WeTV when I was browsing yesterday morning and I finished it in less than 2 days. Just a typical rest day looking for something fresh and new to watch since I just finished the "Unforgettable Love". I didn't know anything about it because I just clicked it. I didn't bother reading the plot because I am not really planning to watch it all the way. I was just curious about the poster but dang. As soon I started it I couldn't stop. It's like a typical fairytale love story. Rich man, poor woman but no evil monster in law. Though there was on the second lead couple but not too much. The story is also not too complicated. I just love how the artists portray their characters. Overall, I am satisfied with the ending. This drama is worth rewatching and recommending to everyone.

So, amid the covid-19 lockdown, asian dramas seem to be the only thing that give some excitement to my life. The past month all I have watched are thai BLs and suddenly I stumbled upon this. So I, being a picky person when it comes to dramas, came to MDL to check out the synopsis and reviews. The plot seemed interesting enough so I watched the 1st episode and I got hooked.
Its like the writers collected a box full of typical asian drama cliches, read alot of trashy webtoons for more inspiration and then wrote a plot that doesn't really make sense but has a lot of fluff, cheesy romance and comedy. Then they added in good actors perfect for their respective roles and voila, a good drama that will charm you and make you feel happy.
The synopsis was definitely misleading. The FL gets hired to get the ML to move on from his previous gf and fall in love with her. She accepts cause she needs the money and he accepts to let her stay so that his mother won't bother him about his love life and also cause he loves her cooking. And the rest of the story just goes from there on out.
The main couple definitely had some chemistry. Theirs was a slow burn type romance that progressed from love-hate to "sseom-ta-da" relationship to full on dating.
The 2nd couple were the FL and ML's best friends. They had a more love at first sight kinda story. The guy asked random men to "take your clothes off" so as to pretend to be a poor part-timer which was quite funny.
Also the two guys giving each other dating advice when their own relationships were unstable was like the blind leading the blind.
The ML's mother definitely stole the show. I've never seen a more cool rich mom than her in any of the dramas.
The ML's cousin was another great supporting character. Him and the FL's brother seemed to have some chemistry. It also felt to me like he was in a relationship with some other guy (could be my wishful thinking after watching so many BL shows) but his character was simply written out of the rest of the episode (probably because BLs are not really acceptable in china).
There were other cliches like the ML's ex-girlfriend, the Fl's ex-boyfriend, jealous girlfriend of said ex-boyfriend etc. who were annoying but did't really impact the story much.
The Ost was alright. The actors did a great job.
All in all this dramas is not something that you would get emotionally invested in but is great for a fun pastime watch.

I've been on hiatus on watching cdramas and this became my come back. My typical cute drama.

I'm not entirely satisfy with how the story progress, I mean as it passess, it mainly focus on their realtionship abouts rather than i.e. the drowning scene in the beginning, it became less exciting esp as it drawn to its end plus the Fei Mo part there is so absurd and idk I kinda predict that twist lol. The ending too tho

Anyways, I'm hook by this first because Fei Mo is cute lololol. They don't have that chemistry of my standard but they are CUTE together esp. bickering moments and stuff plus FL is really good at acting those parts. I also like the part where the MLs mother is not the typical evil one lol and all the supports gave life to their characters and also how they executed their own stories. Lastly, couple scenes are well taken, their scenes will make you fell in love!

OSTs are good fit plus ML sings one of them!

All in all highly recommended drama if you are looking for cute romance, fluff and stuff!

If you are looking for a light and fluffy rom-com, and don't mind the cliches, then this would be a good pick. The plotline is nothing new. However, with good acting and comedic moments dropped in at the right time, I found this drama show very entertaining. I think the show would have benefited more if it were a few episodes shorter. They overplayed the love triangle theme and inserted some melodrama that felt more like filler episodes. I am not a fan of angst-filled scenes that last more than 2 episodes when it comes to a rom-com.

Still, it is a delightful drama that I would recommend for passing the time.

While I thought that the chemistry between the main lead couple could have been more potent, they did match each other quite well. The progression of their relationship was plain adorable and funny. I wished that there was more natural skinship though; after all, the characters were adults who should not be blushing or have strong reactions when it came to holding hands and quick pecks on the cheek.

Lawrence Wong is a definite cutie, and he did a good job playing Ye Fei Mo, the male tsundere CEO type who was also pretty clueless when it comes to bold romance. His micro-expressions were well-delivered and his crying scenes on point. It is the first time I watched Lawrence Wong, and I just discovered that he is Singaporean. It is awesome that a non-Chinese actor is able to star in a Chinese drama, and I look forward to seeing his show with Zhang Han, which I hope will happen.

Personally, I did not find Xu Hao as Wen Xiao Nao that attractive, and her acting felt a bit forced at times. Again like many other c-dramas, the female lead was dressed terribly; I don’t get why all the female characters EXCEPT the lead were styled well. In general, Xu Hao’s portrayal of the female lead was fine, but to me, it was really Lawrence Wong and the other actors that carried the show.

The relationships between the other couples were endearing. Usually, I find that having to follow the stories of multiple couples too distracting but not in this show. The two other secondary couples were attractive together, and in a way, each had more chemistry than the main couple. I enjoyed Wu Hao Ze's and Bai Xin Yi's portrayal of the BFFs characters of the two leads. These BFFs were the "voices of reason," always providing insights and advice, which fortunately the two leads heeded most of the time. Otherwise, there would have been too much unnecessary drama. Ni Han Jin as Li Can was really suave and Ye Fei Mo's mother and Jing Jie were total badasses! The way they teamed up to support the leads. Such great rapport; makes me wish that I have such people to lean on in real life.

Music-wise, the selection was good, and each song fit the scene well. I did like some of them enough to add to my playlist.

Overall, this show is sweet with just the right dose of comedy and a satisfyingly cute ending. I probably will re-watch the scenes with Lawrence Wong in them just so I can admire his perfect profile :D

Xiao Nuan is an aspiring actress making a living taking on small parts to support her family's theater. Feimo is the CEO of Anning Culture, which is a major player in the Chinese film industry. Feimo's mother hires Xiao Nuan as Feimo's caregiver and pretend girlfriend at an event celebrating the return of Feimo's ex to the country. Will they fall in love for real? And what will happen with Xiao Nuan's career?

Likes: The drama uses multiple parallel relationship storylines to illustrate the impact of different choices people make in relationships, and I really enjoyed this. Despite intensive kiss and a shirtless scene early on, the romance between the two leads is a slow burn and shows how they slowly build affection and trust over time. The mother of the main MIL character doesn't follow the villain trope in this drama, which is a wonderful, refreshing change of pace involving a number of funny moments. Xiao Nuan is an extremely likable female lead who doesn't let herself get dragged down by pettiness and has her values in the right place. She's sympathetic without being overly pitiful. Strong supporting cast of characters (e.g., Xiao Nuan's friend Jiayi, who is an actress at a rival company; Xiao Nuan's agent, Feim's cousin, etc.).

Dislikes: The main male lead has fairly low EQ when it comes to love, and it makes him extremely unlikable at times, especially early on (though he does always turn it around, especially in the last 2 episodes). The drama also runs a bit too long -- particularly close to the end there are a few episodes that introduce completely unnecessary drama cliche plot point that made me roll my eyes.

Overall: Fun romantic comedy/drama.

jealousy, trust issues, career and love...lol

Let me just say that this show was like in stages for me..lol they had me at the beginning like i was hooked then all the drama started midway with all the jealousy and envy but it all got better.
Most times i don't get why some people can't just accept a breakup but oh well...lol
This show was really nice and fun to watch the plot was not heavy and it wasn't too annoying, the ost was really nice to me.
This show might be a little bit cliche but it still had a little story behind it.
I also liked the fact that the female lead was able to stand up for herself when she needed to.
My fave character although he didn't have so much screen time was the male lead's cousin/brother, he was really cute.
In general i would definitely recommend this drama. I liked it.
Also this is my first review so it's all over the place..XD....bye.

Better than I thought it would be, but nothing mind blowing. It's the same theme that's been going on for years, big rich CEO ends up in a contract relationship and they either fall in love and it's easy or it's not and this was in between, it was easy but it wasn't. lol. There's your complicated exes on both ends, annoying, then you have your secondary couples everywhere which wasn't bad either but all in all, not a bad show what so ever and we stan a supportive family lol I loved his mom and cousin.

The acting was alright, it was actually my first time seeing both of the main leads in any shows and I honestly wasn't disappointed, they had great chemistry, they were nice, it wasn't even a hate to love kind of thing, everything was pretty easy going and I have a high appreciation for that. I loved the best friend and how he tried to impress the other girl, even the bad characters weren't the death of me and I loved the mom and cousin, again, LOVED.

The music was aight lol a regular ost.

All in all, wouldn't rewatch but I don't regret watching it. It was a good show, really. It was cute, they had chemistry, it had its moments where it was OVER dramatic, but what do you expect? lol
