Judging by the extremely short synopsis of the movie, I wasn't sure what to expect at all. At first, going by the name and the first few scenes, I thought it would be a mere drugs movie. It proved to be so much more then just that, very realistic also.
To be honest, a tad more realistic then I had anticipated.

I haven't seen any of the actors in other movies or show's so I can't judge them by that, yet the overal acting was pretty good. Very realistic. I loved the music, it matched the movie splendidly in my opinion.

I watched this movie with my boyfriend, who's not a fan of Asian movies in general. And even he had to admit that it's better then expected. Overal it proved to be a fairly good movie, not one I would personally watch again any time soon. But maybe someday, I will definitely re-watch it.

With an intense  sequence of action, before even getting caught up in plot details or  character, and in his best moments of suspense, "The Traffickers" has a  very promising premise. Unfortunately, the plot can not effectively combine what it proposed in its opening. Despite some well-filmed sequences, the end result is very uneven and confusing. There are many coincidences and twists in an apparent attempt to create an exciting fiction story of real-world criminal events. Part of what makes this movie so confusing is the fact that the protagonist is also working as a villain. The  number of coincidences and accidental encounters aboard the cruise ship  are more like a comedy of mistakes than a suspense leading to an even  more ridiculous ending, however thrilling in its elements of action and  suspense.
