The Man Standing Next (2020)

This is kind of sequel of the movie 12.12: The Day (2023) which focuses on the coup after death of the president park and this movie is also based on real event that occurs near the timeline in Rangoon bombing.

Political thriller drama films taking place in 1979. One is based on the assassination of president Park Chung Hee in October 26, while the other is based on the Coup d'etat led by Chun Doo Hwan on December 12 in the same year, just a few months later.

Both of the movies revolve around dictators and the revolution. Characters planned to assassinate the president in both of the movies.
