So this show was really tough to watch because the plot was a little too much to digest. Some will say that it is your typical Thai lakorn but i would like to disagree because this show went to far til it was just disgusting to watch. In a traditional lakorn ML is a player marries because he wants to please elders to get the inheritance while he has women on the side but then falls for the innocent FL and then poof everything gets better for them and then there is a happy ending. But this is not it and it is kinda weird and difficult to explain and if you thought that the generic story lines were bad this is worst.
Despite the terrible plot and execution the acting was actually pretty on point. I think that for the most part all the actors played their parts well. From the kiss scene to the slap scenes things on that part were well executed and I will say that the slap scenes between the different characters was one of the most enjoyable thing about this serie. And honestly the chemistry between the ML and his main mistress was actually on point and its such a shame that this plot was not a different one because under a different story line I think the majority of the cast would of actually produced something very enjoyable.
All that being said the music selection for this drama was actually pretty simple and straight and there weren't any random song that you get sometimes in the lakorns.

Though the show has low production value and that the screenplay is a mess at times, this show is easily a guilty pleasure of sort if one isn't put off by cheating.

I for one don't begrudge the ML for cheating on heroine in the first stage of there marriage as he didn't love her and married her only for what she stood instead of the person she actually was.
Theirs was a rushed and neither of them realized what they were getting into.

The ML has every flaws one could imagine (spoiled, selfish, arrogant, short-tempered and short-sighted) and few redeeming qualities but when he took the time to know his bride he really fell in love even though he managed to fuck it all up because of his afore-mentionned flaws.
It's interesting to see the downgrade spiral he had after the separation.

The FL could be perceived as a doormat but she was so strong imo! Firstly because she tried to endure the situation she was into and secondly because she walked out when she decided she had enough (it might have been a really hard decisionfor someone who grew up in a gilded cage and was only destinated to be a good wife and mother).
Her strength was also demonstrated time and again with the way she dealt with most of the situations she was presented with.

As for the secondary characters I liked Pan and Prang because they added to the drama and played their parts very well.

I'm part of the few people who is glad they'll end up together. Non isn't for her and is worst than the ML in books because he took the decision to walk out of her life without consulting her AND when his family was insulting the FL he didn't really stand up for her.
Had she married him, she would have had to deal with a hostile family (she would have handled it well but it wouldn't have been confortable).

I like that they got bavk together as two mature and aware people. They grew up during their marriage and during their separations. The FL monologue at the end says it better lol.

It's not a drama I'll go back to (I rarely rewatch dramas except some of my fav) but it was quite addictive once I got into it.

This drama is a guilty pleasure for sure with catfight galore, characters we love to hate, drama, verbal sparing...

I won't recommend it strongly but it can be a nice watch as a filler.

Talay Prae, honestly, was one of those lakorns that I was hesitant about due to the reviews posted and most of the complaints in the discussion row. However, I pushed past it and made it to the end and this lakorn was something else. Thankfully, I was able to watch all 24 episodes with English subs so I kept abreast of everything. Plotwise, this show could've done better. However, it does show what reality is, like our ML Ja.

The plotline was quite predictable in some areas, yet it taught some lessons if you stepped back. I have not much to say on the plot because it is as the synopsis has it. That is it and nothing more.

Characters, now this is where I will expound on because it is what carried the show, really. Our ML, Ja, he is a piece of work, really. From the inception, he never loved our FL. He's outrightly a player and even when our FL, Thaet, did confront him, he chose to childishly admit and say that he has the freedom to sleep around. Jaron had poor character development, all up until the final three episodes. He often projected his infidelity to Thaet, and I would like you to understand what projection is and how it works. Because he was cheating, he often accused Thaet of cheating with Non, because he knows to himself that he is the one cheating and Thaet is in the dark about this fact. His jealousy and rage blindsided him and often times he never acknowledged Thaet's explanation if she did something without him knowing. When he did find out, the stupid and hard way (as Kong said), he would emotionally manipulate her. Even though he was in the wrong, he always said to her (who was in the right), "Why am I running after you? You did wrong." He never lived up to his mistakes and poor Thaet, she dealt with the blunt force of it all. I was so pissed at him when Thaet finally confronted him about Nok, Pang and Kaotu and he did admit, except he never accepted his wrongdoings. He had no remorse and no guilt at all. After their separation, only then Jaron really understood what his grandfather was trying to teach him along.

Our FL, Thaet, she is one strong woman I'd say. For the most part, she tried her best to make everyone happy and in that household, the only person that made her happy was Kong and not Ja. Kong has supported her 100 and it is honestly what motivated her to no longer take shit from Ja. Usually, viewers watching this would indirectly put the shoes on of the FL and view the story from her eyes, this is why many persons were upset with all the characters trying to come at her. In all honesty, they each taught her something valuable. Thaet is a gem. No, if or buts, and Jaron does not deserve, moreover Non doesn't deserve her either. I absolutely loved to see her fight back, Kaotu and even Woon (who, by the way, can I punch her eyes out?). She stood up to A'Ma as well, and further, her in-laws (who protected their son and hid all his flaws from her, who genuinely loved him).

Pang is honestly one of the most frustrating characters I have encountered in the world of lakorns. Her and later, Woon. If I could take some toothpicks and stab them ugh, they were so.. very angering. I believe Phet would definitely stable Pang and teach her to be a better mother. Pang is straight-up shameless. You can't expect her to get better, she just gets worse. When she was first introduced, I preferred her to Kaotu since she was more mature. But really, her greed for Ja is worse than Kaotu. Kaotu is, in all sense, problematic. She'd the one you can't wait for the FL to bitch-slap. However, in her craziness, she kept her distance from Ja in the most part. Nok was Pang's plaything and Woon? Woon isn't a mistress but she is Non's ex that actions showed her jealousy. Thaet had not done anything to her yet she turned Non's family against Thaet.

The two characters I appreciated most in this lakorn was Kong and Pa. They both had good intentions towards Thaet and even though Pa "used" her, she still helped to open Thaet's eyes to Ja's infidelity. Kong's teaching definitely makes you want to take it into consideration in your own life. Non also was a constant supporter in Thaet's life but, to be honest, I was still all for Ja repenting and coming back to Thaet.

The music, like most lakorns, isn't exactly outstanding but isn't invisible either. It's there but not impactful at all.

I say, if you are going to watch this lakorn, just prepare yourself mentally and face it through because it isn't going to calm your emotions nor give you satisfaction until you least expect it. It is going to have you rage at the characters and even wish you can reach through the screen to grab some of them by the hair. In all fairness, you can consider this lakorn about Thaet. I finished it for Thaet and stayed for Thaet.

terrible story/good acting

●The greed only leads to fall. This lakron is full of greedy peeps for property which had lead to bad parenting, betraying friends and deceiving partners.

●This series was frustrating, it had such a messed up story that I wanted to drop it but then I don’t know why I still wanted to see whats in store for our naïve good girl. This was not a typical lakron it was something else in the category of toxic marriage, as the ML doesn’t ever falls in love in love with FL. He grabs her in every opportunity he got. This is the only series that I have watched with a super jerk ML, maybe because its portrayed that way. He is seen sleeping around with many ladies but in other series its just said that hero is playboy/Casanova.
The FL was shown naive but IMO she was calm like sea until some human dump trash into it, making it into a strong sea wave to throw-up the trash on the side. She got out of the toxic relationship was praiseworthy. She her dreams, self respect and values until the end.
The most satisfying character was Pong, Jarons grandfather. He was honest and wise, just as I see how an old man should be.
This lakron I was unhappy of FL parents decision, I mean one should investigate to whom you are marrying your daughter not just see their prosperity and mansion. You both are educated and yet fall money thats such a narrow mind. She is your daughter consider her dreams and likes first.

●The acting was topnotch, it made me hate all the bad people to the core. ML had done exceptional job being a jerk throughout with his wide open eyes. FL was like a blank face when playing naive or say a timid person.
Despite the age difference between the lead actors, the chemistry was good
The mistress Lampang was over the top in her acting skills with her smooth dialogue speaking and versatile expression.

●My favorite character was PA, owning the personality school. She might have used FL, but she have cared for everytime. She was blamed for using when FL herself turned a blind eye to everything the other said and remained an enduring wife of unfaithful husband.

●Music were just good enough but not impactful which will ring in the mind after the lakron finishes.

●Rewatch absolutely NO, I cant bear to see such toxic story, where I cant feel pity for the FL either.
end so watched the whole 24 episodes

Drama isn’t as bad as everyone says

I was holding off on watching this lakorn because of how bad the reviews and comments were, but I am honestly so glad I watched it. The synopsis is pretty much a man whore who cheats on his wife from day 1, and then a whole bunch of women are chasing after him. Of course, with a synopsis like this, no one wants to watch the lakorn. But that’s because people are watching it to see if the ML gets redemption. Spoiler: he doesn’t.
Although the idea of the lakorn sounds really boring, it was actually really entertaining to watch. However, I watched it for the drama, not for the romance like most people did. SKIP TO THE END FOR THE OVERALL IF YOU WANT.

Characters:
FL: My absolute favourite character of this show was the Tat, the FL. She was amazing, she was not naive at all, even though she came off like that. Yes she let the ML get away with a lot, but she did it because she was raised to think the situations through calmly, not be crazy like the other females of this show. She stood her ground against the ML, even in the beginning. When he would get jealous and possessive, she’d walk away from him and let him apologise. She was smart in her own way, and a complete girl boss in the end, in the way the viewers wanted her to be. Around episode 17 she snapped and showed that she’s by far the written character I have ever seen. She told the ML mistress’s something like “why should I fight over my own husband” and that was the BEST line a FL in a Thai lakorn had ever said. The actress, is by far, the best I have ever seen. She knew how to portray the character, so that even when there was no dialogue, her emotions and facial expressions showed of character. The actress knew exactly what to do, people don’t realise that good actors/actresses should be able to act without dialogue, and this actress did exactly that in the perfect way! I have so much more to say about her, but honestly you guys should watch for your own, she carried the entire show. Kudos to her

Paa: Although she was manipulative, she was truly the only female who actually gave great/solid advice to the FL. Sometimes the FL would let the ML think badly of her, but Paa would tell the ML the truth. Yes she did it for manipulation, but at least she wasn’t like the other shameful women in the show.

Grandpa: I am so glad that not everyone in the ML family was annoying. The grandpa was the best person to teach the ML a lesson about how his wife is a diamond compared to the other women who the ML slept with. The grandpa was mischievous in his own way and helped teach the ML lessons multiple times. It sucks that the ML only changed for one episode and went to being bad again. I also felt so bad for the grandpa in the end, but I’m happy that he got justice and got his own happy ending.

Nok, Pin, Pan, and Khatou: These are the shameful women I keep mentioning. All of them are so bad in their own way, that I’m not sure who to pick as the worst. I love how the show revealed that the FL actually saw through all of them, but kept her cool so she wasn’t fighting over a man like the rest of them. They all kept plotting, and it was quite disgusting how they all wanted to be with a man whore. I do think that Pan had the biggest role out of all of them though, since she’s the one who just kept coming back and not giving up like the rest of them. Their drama was entertaining to watch, but it got really old and annoying when they kept using the same tricks.

ML: I saved him for last because I don’t know what to think of him. At first glance, he is a complete man whore, no arguing that. However, I feel like the writers messed up. They seemed to want to redeem him in some episodes, but then for some reason, they make him a disgusting person again. To be fair, the only disgusting thing about him was that he slept with other women when he was married. Otherwise, his few of his other personality traits were actually admirable. He would not let his cousin frame him, and he also did not let Khatou get away with slapping his wife, even though he himself got hurt by Khatous husband. His jealousy was petty though, and it seemed like he would be falling in love with the FL in one episode, but then dissing her in the next. I just honestly feel like he was half written. The actor wasn’t too bad, but the writers did not really give him much to work with.

Overall: This drama was actually good. I think people need to be aware that the ML won’t change, and that they shouldn’t expect much. The star of the show is honestly the FL, and if you guys want to watch a show for the cat fights, then this is the perfect show for it. I definitely suggest giving it a try, it’s not your average romance lakorn, but it definitely has all the crazy’s and the best FL ever, I just love how classy she is.

Gross male lead. That’s it.

If ever there was an award for the most disgusting male character written, this would be it.
ML is late to his own wedding cause he’s with another woman.
ML spends the night of his wedding!!!!! With a different woman.
He sleeps with a woman then goes home to sleep with his wife (not even showering and honestly, that was it for me!)
ML constantly tries to get his wife to shower with him or shower him, my goodness!
That’s it. That’s the plot. He just sleeps around. I’m not even mad. I laughed so much cause this plot was so ridiculous. Wow.

I really liked the female lead. Some would say she’s naive. I also thought so at first but you will realise that she just doesn’t do drama. She has faith in her husband until she figures things out on her own, not just reacting to what other people say.

This male character had ZERO redeeming qualities! Please, an apology in the last 10 minutes after sticking his weeny in everything does not cut it.

Okay... We have a young girl, barely over twenty, barely any personality... Her "mother", who looks like her grandmother... And her "new" husband. Meaning 40-year old "New" Wongsakorn (he's not that new to me, and while I didn't like him even when he WAS young, I don't think combing his hair all up should prevent anyone from noticing how "young" he is now).

As for other cast, we have Nappon Gomarachun (wow), Art Pasut (hopefully he'll have his own story line, because I'll definitely won't watch 24 episodes for New Wongsakorn), Katreeya English (that's really her name, lol) who is 44 but looks even older (must be those strenuous workouts) and Benz Narinya (!) who blew me away as 16-year old nang'ek (seriously) in her 'Naree Rissaya' lakorn and since then, I haven't seen her in anything. Regretfully, this looks like a very small role. From what I have watched yet, I havent as much as noticed her.

This story BEGINS with the wedding. Obviously the girl is marrying some wothless manwhore who is the type with whom one is more lonely than actually alone. And Art Pasut is his brother (oh, no) which looks like he won't have his own line but only would hover. Girl even receives a written warning she shouldn't marry this guy and I say such advice should always be heeded, even if it comes from the enemy line:-)

So, since episode 1, it is clear this won't be my cup of romance.

The girl might stay at the wedding but I am leaving.

Perda de tempo

No começo parecia legal, interessante.
