It was fun at first

Only reason I watched this was to Jang Na Ra. The sorry was interesting at first and I binge watched till the 10th episode. I watched 11th episode and felt like the show began loosing focus and so do I. I would recommend you to give it a try. Cause the story was good for the first 10 episode. I dropped it cause i think 11th 12th and 13th episodes were just way too boring. The cast was good but I didn't like the main actor don't know why but he felt unnatural.

In conclusion idea of the story is good but story getting boring later on. Cast is good. I recommend you to give it a try you might like it more than me.

Beautiful & breathtaking.

I have been watching one episode each night, and every single episode has been so beautiful. The storyline touches on some serious subjects, but there is also light hearted ness and a cute comedy to the series. The storyline is consistent, and there is always something interesting happening. I find that it isn’t lacking at all and the actors are really, very good. There isn’t one character I don’t like and the supporting actors are so charming and cute. Some scenes are so beautiful, regarding the scenery but also with what is going on with the storyline, between the leads. I’m going to remember this drama for a very long time, and cherish it as one of the most beautiful dramas I have seen. Definitely recommend.

I've been in the mood for darker dramas lately, but after watching Jang Nara in V.I.P., I decided to give this drama a go. The premise was quite unique and caught my attention. Like most of these types of dramas, the plot was pretty predictable, though that wasn't what detracted me from it. To be honest, I got quite frustrated with most of the side characters as the story progressed. They seemed to add unnecessary ( and not very interesting ) drama to the plot. Eventually, the drama as a whole started to drag a bit ( even watching it in 2x speed ). While I don't regret finishing it up, it wouldn't be a drama that I would instantly recommend or rewatch.

A take on mature love and relationships for women who are still looking for their path in life

When I watched this Drama, the first few episodes hit me like a trainwreck because it conveys exactly my thoughts as a career woman who is still figuring out what path in life to take.

Tackling motherhood and the balance you want to achieve while having a career is a tricky one. Partly because most paint it as something glamorous superhero style, or as a comedic tragedy of errors. In reality, it's not - a lot of times you will find yourself doubting the path you've taken, and you will be faced with a lot of sacrifices along the way. It's refreshing to see that in this drama it portrays that type of slice-of-life narrative that each person has their own story and struggle in the life they've chosen, including being a mom or being a career-driven woman who wants to be a mom.

The drama isn't without faults though - in the middle, you would find yourself very annoyed in the men in Ha Ri's life because they can't seem to grasp their own realities. They think that they're doing their best for her but ends up in the opposite direction. They eventually have their own fixes, but it might be less conclusive than others would think of.

However, I would highly advise you to stay for Ha Ri and her mother's story. Their relationship seems so complicated, but as you get older and wiser, that truly is how your relationship with your parents unfold. There will be a lot of questions you can get answers to, and a lot of misunderstandings get cleared up. The love they have with each other is so touching, you will want to hug your own parent right after this.

Contrary to a lot of people's expectations, this romance between Ha Ri and her main male lead (which you'll learn more about later on) actually is less of skinship and more affection for each other. Which in reality, is also very true. As you get older, your desire for a more intimate relationship gets more private. It's not to say that your sex drive will dwindle, but more of that your focus would be companionship and being comfortable around your significant other and the people that are important to them. You keep the bedroom private, and that's okay, that doesn't mean you don't love each other just because you're not all over your partner.

Lastly, I appreciate how in this drama they have put significant weight on Ha Ri's career, even at the end. She started as someone who worked day and night at her job, and she climbed her way to the top. It would have been more disappointing if the story just sidetracked what she does when it directly affected why she wanted more to be a mom and continued her burning passion for being one.

My Verdict: Watch, and watch with an open mind. What happens in this story is more closer to life than what you think. Especially for women who are still figuring out if they want to settle down or continue the career they want. Being a mother is harder than it looks, but not being a mom is hard too. Ultimately, we are the sum of the choices we have made in life, and it's with the outlook of each individual on how they live with what they currently have.

Wonderful story about two single people finding love and happiness

Likes
1. Han Yisang and Go Joon. Yisang's love for maoi statues.
2. The drama wasnt just telling the story of a single lady who wants to get married and have a baby, it also showed that guys also have problems with infertility. And it also showed the different views of people - the struggles of a working mom, and a mom who had to leave the workforce and cant find a job again, to married couple who doesnt want kids. And even fathers who struggle to earn money to fulfill their children's dreams. And mothers who just want the best for her child.
3. The balance between humor and drama. I laughed out loud during the funny scenes and bawled whenever Hari and Yisang cried.
4. The beautiful ost. I wish they release the ost with a photobook!
5. That there are different ways to be happy. And everyone should follow his own path to happiness. It may not be the usual route but we should learn to respect other people's choices without judgment.

Dislikes
1. That they made Jae Young into a selfish annoying second lead. Park Byung Eun deserved better. He could have been the nice childhood friend with a one-sided crush on Hari.
2. The first few episodes when all Hari could think of is to be a mom. That it's her main dream and she wont be happy until she was a mom. I disliked her views on that but the ending when she finally realized she was wrong made it all worth it.

Rating: 9.5/10 (9 for the story plus 0.5 for Yisang )

i found this drama was a mature heartwarming one

but the ML was a bad choice for me
good role with lukewarm acting
his face expression was so cold and couldn't deliver me the right feeling

mainly it was focusing and talked about different kinds of parenting, motherhood problems and work problems
so i saw the romance in it was light and some times lukewarm

normal reactions towards the one you love were extremely absent

the FL's childhood friend was the most selfish and son of a B**** man i've ever seen
he lived his life fully (left her suddenly, married, got a baby, divorced )
then coming back discovering he loved her
trying to interfere every single decision she took
intruding her life and forcing her to choose what he want
taking decision for her by himself thinking that he is doing that for her own benefit OOOOOOOOHHH
what a As***** guy really

he annoyed me till the limit when she refused him i was so happy
and i'm not evil woman in normal life but i was really happy
because many times i want to break the screen from his deeds -_-
he didn't respect her choices at all , while she did towards him

i could consider this drama as a mature light romance
but mainly not romance

Refreshingly Mature Topics & Go Yun. Nuff said.

Full transparency- I just came off The Fiery Priest and was absolutely FERAL to find something else Go Yun stars in. He stole every scene he was in, and I'm amazed I haven't discovered him sooner. He's got more charisma and charm in his left sock than most Idol actors I've recently seen on TV, and I'm honestly gobsmacked by him whenever he's on-screen.

OKAY- So, about the series:

I'm not typically drawn to dramedies (I'm more of a grand-scale epic saga or cerebral thriller type), but aside from Go Yun, I adore the cast; particularly, Jo Hee Bong and Park Byung Eun, and I love the more mature topics that I'm surprised to see on Korean airwaves. The series starts off in a quirky-off-kilter-type way, handling Jang Ha Ri's excessive work ethic and problematic reproductive problems with self-deprecating humor, and 2nd hand embarrassment. Jo Hee Bong's character, Chief Nam, was instantly likable and funny to me. I loved his shameless Insta comments on Han Yisang's profile to get him to get in contact. I also love how subversive the series is in handling stereotypical situations; for example, Ha Ri is faced with an uncomfortable situation at work where she wants to intercept a potentially harmful article from getting released and has to face a male peer and their boss. She handles the situation fearlessly and even throws herself onto her boss's couch to force him into complying. I thought it was funny, empowering, and a total boss move. The women in this series are independent, fierce, self-sufficient, and AWARE of their power.

Hari and Yisang have great chemistry. Especially when they bicker. Their quick retorts constantly had me cackling. Their first few interactions are rife with comedic misunderstandings. With her friends, Hari recalls a fond memory of her first meeting with Yisang, and it's depicted in her memory as a classic K-drama romance scene with slow-moving snow, and flattering nostalgic lighting, and she was completely swept off her feet when she mistook his Visine drops for tears.

"It was my first time seeing a guy cry. A guy's tears can somehow open your heart." LOLLLL.

Later, as her Chief tries to introduce the two, she takes poor advice from her friend and tries to initiate awkward small talk and {nonconsensual} skinship while Yisang squirms uncomfortably at her terrible flirting before hilariously and savagely shutting her down. Needless to say, they've gotten off on the wrong foot and I think the editing choices throughout the scenes make it so much funnier as I catch myself laughing out loud regularly without feeling like the situation is overtly ridiculous or unrealistic.

Outside of the lens of humor and silliness, there is a very real, very raw sadness that permeates our FL as she tries to have what she wants most in the world, a child. Since she was a little girl, it's all she's ever wanted. We follow her journey and her (sizzling) chemistry with Yisang throughout the series. Her platonic chemistry with the other male leads and female colleagues is also fantastic. I really have to give a lot of props to the writers, because there isn't an episode that goes by that doesn't make me laugh consistently throughout while hitting me in the feels. Time and again, it introduces a typical trope and completely flips it upside down, surprising even the most jaded K-drama viewer.

"The happiest person is a mom. Moms always smile when they see their babies. My dream is to become a mom."

It isn't just about Hari's ever-reaching journey toward motherhood. The show broadens its lens and shows us the intricate interworkings of each character and the journeys they're going through as well. What it's like as a single parent, a divorcee, an aging mother, an older bachelor afraid to start again. It's life and all of its machinations, day to day, relentless and without prejudice, while we try to surf the tide and find our way toward happiness.

I highly recommend this series, and not just because you get to look at Go Yun's face for 16 glorious hours.

This idea would seem a bit novel but it has been in our respective societies ever since women have stepped out of the house to earn a living. You won't believe how common marrying at the evening stage of life has become. This is a fictional story of 39 years old single woman who loves children, working for a magazine focused around babies and mothers wanting to have her own baby someday finding out that the time is ticking and she has a slim chance of getting pregnant by each day passing. She is mortified by coming across this reality so much so she is ready to skip the part of marriage and directly getting into motherhood. Now, I am sure that in the upcoming episodes we will see how she gets choose one out of 3 men pursuing her but what will be interesting to watch is how a woman in her late 30's struggle with society stigmatizing her for being single up to that age, having a prejudice against her having a baby without marriage, her struggles dealing with the judgemental looks of the men coming across the idea of her wanting to have a baby out of them and her complications when she bears a baby (which I hope happens). It's a must-watch for the fact that we all are kind of dealing similar situation ourselves if we're in the age bracket of late 20's to early 40's and yet to find the perfect partner and rear a family. I am writing this review based out of 2 episodes which I enjoyed. I will be updating when I have advanced with more episodes.

Resenha Oh My Baby

MINHAS IMPRESSÕES DE OH MY BABY

Enquanto Oh My Baby estava lançando, nenhum comentário a repeito da historia me estimulou a ver.

Seu egoismo me tirava do sério.

O FINAL
