Similarly hollow feeling to the stories. Both are captivating and easy to watch with very nice cinematography.
The main actor of “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” is also one of the main characters in “globin”, there’s even a reference to it on “the tale of nine-tailed”.
Both story’s talk about the first and only love. Both are fantasy/supernatural genre, although “the tale of nine-tailed” seems to be a little darker, in terms of cinematography.

- The dramas both feature a fantasy romance between a human woman and supernatural-being man.
- Both involve some aspect of past lives coming in to play in their relationship
- The romance isn't the only focus, with an interesting plot to go along with the gradual romance development
- Great chemistry between leads
- Personally, I thought that tale of the nine tailed has a better story development and more exciting/unexpected twists in it, but my demon had a better romance

-Tough, dark, mysterious, badass ML
-Chemistry between the leads
-Action & comedy elements

Similar supernatural romance with a supernatural main lead,
has some horror elements in both,
starts off with the couple not liking each other.

Both the leads of their respected dramas are doing the work of dealing with other worldly beings by removing them from the human world. While one helps spirits and their loved ones resolve grudges to pass over the other removes mystical creatures from the human world. What they have in common is they are both placed in this position because of rules they have broken or wrong they have done in the past.

-Both leads are hundreds of years old
-Both dramas deal with the topic of reincarnation
-Both dramas have humans that are connected to or have supernatural powers

If you liked Lee Rang, then this short series is perfect for you. It adds more depth to his character. And you can also have a look at how Rang Yuri interacted in their first meet.

Both are master pieces in their own way. Fantasy is something we crave for and can't have in reality. This is exactly what these dramas offer us. Both of them are revolutionary love stories. A love story where a lover can sacrifice everything but love till the end.

We have a very hard-working Jo Bo Ah falling in love with a good looking kinda supernatural man and she may have a past life related with him.

I recommend this both drama because , Male lead and Female lead
try to solve problem
In one drama explosion and another student murder/suicide

ML has powers (shaman/sees ghosts vs. nine tailed fox) and FL is human. The couple had past lives and FL or both have now reincarnated and reunited in the present. Both couples must work to stop the powerful, supernatural villain from their past.

Both feature male nine-tailed foxes who ended up falling in love with humans and wanting to become humans. Both also featured nine-tailed foxes that became evil spirits due to an unfortunate circumstances in the past.

Same theme of second chances, finding each other again and going against a predetermined bad fate that threatens to repeat. Aka love prevails
Both dramas have supernatural content/plot, though FNOS is less about the mythical legends and its fantasy more urban with ghosts. Same vibe though, as FNOS is also sometimes quite spooky and deals with the stories of deceased people.
Past life and lovers that ended tragic.
Reborn in modern times and meeting again by chance.
FNOS Is lighter and more humorous in tone, but ML is also a rich, kinda arrogant guy who keeps other ppl at arm's length. Both are equally soft under their harder, supposedly uncaring shell tho.
Evil, supernatural antagonist
Both FL's are outspoken, smart and brave. Not a doormat in the slightest.
Slow burn romance with satisfying development and ending

If you liked the first season, you'll definitely find the second season to be a shift in tone, but for the better. Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 balances humor with serious tones very well, and focuses more on bromance than romance.

Ignoring the fact that their names are also very similar, these two both one supernatural lead and a regular human lead for the other.
They both have reincarnation plots as well as villains who were present in their past lives.
In both of these dramas, the main lead is very confident in his abilities.
Tale of the Nine-Tailed is about a nine-tailed fox looking for his reincarnated lover and meeting a paranormal show PD.
Legend of the Blue Seas is about a mermaid who meets her lover from her past life who is a con artist in his current life.

These two share a lot of similar concept. Both MLs are immortal with supernatural power. ML met first FL when FL was still a child, in Nine-tailed: ML saved FL, in Hwayugi, FL free ML from his prison.
