While one is historical and the other modern day, both dramas have a determined FL who is a single mother (either biological mother or aunt/adoptive mother) to a precocious little boy. The child takes a liking to the ML at the beginning and calls him his martial arts disciple. The ML has never met the little boy before but is related to him (father vs. uncle) and quickly steps into the role of father, all while falling in love with the FL.

Both dramas are very similar in pacing, plot, and feel. The characters are also similar, featuring a talented, independent FL on a quest, a supportive ML, a single mother (FL vs. SFL), and a child looking for his father (who doesn't know he exists) who bonds with the adults around him who all try to protect him.

The female leads of both dramas are doctors and, in both dramas, one of the leads has memory loss. Both dramas are also romantic comedies.

Both of the drama got a child involved although in QL the child was from the FL while UL the child comes from the ML. Both of the drama is fun with great involvement of the child.

One is historical and one modern day but both have a very similar plot in which a couple had a son or twin sons together, both parents lost their memory and separated, and then years later reunite, with their son(s) bringing them back together.

I just love the theme of a theme involved from the FL's side.
in MDL the child's is not the ML one but it is very fluffy and amazing

Although one is a drama & the other is a movie, both have the same kina vibe. Each has a main lead as a single parent looking for love.

Just like Su Yu, there was a book that someone wants to stole, first half was a real romcom, and the second.. not. ML had accident and he needed to leave FL. Oh, and there was old childhood friend that was in love in FL :D
I recommend to all that liked Su Yu

There is a handsome and strong, romantic hero played by Liu Xue Yi. And the story is sweet, deal wih family, and love.

Similar vibes. Silly, outrageous, and yet funny and endearing. Similar type of jokes with unexpected twists. Bombastic characters and yet also self-deprecate. Crazy, scary situations turn up good and winning for the protagonists through good luck. Adorable characters.

This drama, despite not being an expensive production, shows such a charming and interesting hero. Liu Xue Yi, here, as your first male lead in a drama.

In both dramas female leads doesn't know about the father of her child. In both dramas one night stand, pregnancy, child are common. In both dramas male leads love's the child without knowing his child.
