Don't know how to rate it

The point is

I don't hate this drama because I also don't expect much for short episode drama (short below 40 episodes), but if it's just to spend time on drama (I'm running out of drama history) this is quite entertaining,, but I doubt that 37-40 minutes is the complete time of this drama or the Chinese version really like that,, because the sound has a missing part

If the story is more complete maybe I will give a rating of 80

At the beginning of the story, I felt that even though the short 24 eps drama was okay because the storyline was quite complete, and there were flashbacks of the story, and the relationships between the characters were quite funny and entertaining, but the story that was displayed was very ordinary and cheap, intentional coincidences and things that haven't shown happened but already happened

However, starting from eps 14 or several previous episodes, the scenes that are shown seem to be cut and incomplete, the hostage scene when election for 4 kingdom competition, the competition scene which is the main part of the story is not shown clearly, only at a glance,, what happens during the holding of the election round? ,, every fighting scene or anything related to the 4 kingdoms of competition, everything is skipped and goes straight to the results,, and the sound is problematic, and disappears,, it seems there is a strict copyright, maybe there is a part of the story that gets cut, because I watched it in 3 places, YT 2 version and dramacool, to get the missing sound scene, every place the missing sound is different, but some are the same

And in my opinion the selection of characters is not match and does not match the age,,, looks like a drama for training new actors

A Love story with all the bells and whistles

Another great historical drama with beautiful sets, clothes and design. The cast was exceptional so many cute faces especially the 4 side kick expressions. The ML/FL there chemistry was off the chart and Nan Nan played by Zhang zi Han was so cute and for 10yo he did a awesome job and has been in some great dramas. This Drama has a great storyline filled with Amenia-happening more than once and how true love conquering all. There was an attempted murder/rape on Qing Luo by her husband who was just using her and family to get power and promotions since wasn't rape, but instead rescued by someone. She then went back to her room to be overcome by aphrodisiac incense burning next someone also given an aphrodisiac stumble into her room and he gets her pregnant and her hubby goes to divorced for her adultery, but instead claimed she committed suicide. She is rescued/found by Jin Liu li who takes her in with amnesia and help her deliver the baby boy Nan nan. Now 7 years she has recovered her memory except who's the baby father is she becomes known as the Ghost Doctor in search of him and stays anonymous no one has scene her face. During her adventious journey she meets and helps many people with good and bad intentions. She meets Prince Ye xiu du and they both feel an attraction as they help each other unravel many secrets and scandal and amenia again. It has many funny scenes especially with the added sounds effects, we watch true love that's lost and found. There are no boring part in any scenes and could watch again.

The Demands of Nan Nan and the Great Resolution

I have long awaited the transition for the “Demon Emperor” to go from villain to star. And it was worth the wait. Liu Xue Yi rocks his character as Ye Xiu Du / Lord Yuang. He is a versatile actor and one worth watching. The other actors are very good. Totally love Zhang Zi Han as Nan Nan. His character is cute and hilarious.

The story is good and flows and weaves smoothly holding one’s attention. The action is good, the comical scenes are enjoyable, the love expressed is on point, the entertainment factor is definitely there. A plus point is that they did not make the female lead without a brain. Wang Zi Wei as Yu Qing Luo is fantastic – she may not know to fight, but she will not be bullied, not even by the man she loves. She has her priorities straight as a mother, woman, lover, and a doctor at best. Another plus point is that the tracks/story lines do not drag.

Nan Nan wants his real father while Yu Qing Luo struggles to remember/find out about her past only to be in despair everything she thinks she has made a breakthrough. Nan Nan will take no less than his real father and puts up a fight with the men that comes in his mother’s life. As fate would have it, Yu Qing Luo bumps into Lord Yuang pretending to be Mr. Charming, a big-time flirt. Yu Qing Luo wanting to save Mr. Wang, who she mistakenly takes Lord Yuang to be, scurry him to a hiding place, where they share their first kiss. As the story progress we find out that Yu Quing Luo’s husband the wick prince, set her up to be raped, but she is saved and ends up sleeping with Lord Yuang, who is the real father of Nan Nan. This is not discovered until later in the series. There is trust building between Yu Quing Luo and Lord Yuang. And there is also trust between Nan Nan and Lord Yuang – they take a liking to each other without much tension.

Both Lord Yuang and Yu Quing Luo are hunted and wanted by the Shura Sect and the evil Prince, who works for the Shura Sect. This hide and seek, I am going to kill both of you track, leads to Lord Yuang and Yu Qing Luo jumping off the cliff and Quing Luo regaining her memory and Lord Yuang loosing his. This part is not dragged on, and he does not fall in love with the princess that falls in love with him.

We get to see a father sacrifice himself for his son without any reservations. He makes plans and teaches Quin Luo to protect herself, which comes in handy later. I liked that they did not kill off Quing Luo’s father to save her or grandson – enjoyed that she worked with Lord Yuang to solve the issue. The marriage is a plus.

Nan Nan calling his father, father is awww so cute.

Totally an all-rounder show.

Adorable & Naughty Father-Son Relationship. + Full of Cute & Interesting Character Interactions~!!

Where do people even get the hate for this drama to start with?...

Reading through reactions and commentaries can really be interesting before starting a drama. Yes, it may provide spoilers/teasers but it also encourages me to watch the drama to prove it wrong and to make counter argument about it. Well... Most of the time it works but I guess not this time?

At first, I was so curious about the hate the FL's getting from some of the reviews I've red but after completing the drama, I just understand it wholeheartedly and can't disagree about all the hate and disappointments they have for the FL. The FL as a Mother just felt too impulsive and proud to the point where I find it really irritating. It does improve gradually though, just make sure to keep an open mind about her character and soon enough you'll probably realize that her character was simply written that way for a reason.

Another thing is the unnecessary and unused characters. I mean, I understand that stories need some background characters to support the entire context but the supposed 'Support Characters' just felt so unused and was only kept there as display to make the drama look good in some ways.

Also, I just wanna highlight how the final 2 episode felt so rushed and squished in. They could've removed or even shorten lots of irrelevant scenes to make the important ones more detailed but they just did not and that's the biggest dissatisfaction I have for this piece I must say. There was even a point where I asked myself "Why?~!! Why the hell did they do it like this? Like it was compressed just to include every single thing before they finally end it?"... That was really frustrating for me, thank god it still ended decently.

In contrary of my commentary so far. I would like to change it a little bit by praising how the drama stowed away from the super cliché and unbearable plot twist by keeping the ridiculousness below minimum and keeping the spark going without ruining the whole story. I guess the 'one thing' that made me satisfied about this drama is that they kept its original flow and didn't attempt to add anything unfamiliar that may ruin the story itself.

In conclusion, this drama's still good and I must say 'far' from the bad reviews people gave it so far. Anyone should give it a watch and have fun.

Story - 9.0, Overall story is decent. It may not be exemplery but it is really good considering how they managed to keep it going without ruining anything. Just watch out for some tasteless scenes that are usually present in any dramas.

Acting/Cast - 9.5, Acting wise, I guess It's beyond average? specially with Main Leads and Main Supporting roles. But I must admit that some of the Minor Supporting Actors felt lacking with their acting and some just lack lines and true purposes. P.S. I must agree that any drama with Liu Xue Yi in it is always Good~!!

Music - 9.5, Music are decent. Honestly, the website I watched this drama in muted some of the scenes so I wasn't really able to fully appreciate the music. But so far with the BGMs inserts I've heard, most of them fits the scenes and doesn't really felt off in anyway.

Rewatch Value - 9.0, It was Fine. Nothing rewatcheable about it in particular but I guess some viewers may find it differently compared to how I originally feel about this.

Overall - 9.0, In consideration of how they wrapped and concluded this drama, I feel like this rating is very reasonable already. It didn't highly satisfy me but it didn't disappoint me neither. It was a fine drama that has decent storytelling and good acting. I would still recommend it, specially to Liu Xue Yi's fans.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN A SERIES OF HISTORICAL DRAMA

I was looking for a drama that would be interesting enough, but not too long, because otherwise I lose interest halfway through the drama.
I started watching this drama out of boredom, because I couldn’t find anything else without all the episodes. The main actors were unknown to me (I didn't watch Love and Redemption, the drama is too long for me)
The content of this drama was a bit weird, so I wanted to see what it was really about. And I wasn't wrong. The drama Qing Luo is a light romance with a beautiful prince (lead actor), a sweet boy and his brave and resourceful mother (title role), who despite the time unfavorable to single mothers, managed to achieve success in the medical world and raise a good and smart son. . Although the drama is in some ways predictable, it still has its surprises and twists all the way to the very end. Enough for the viewer to want a second season (at least for me 😊)

This is a nice costume romantic comedy wuxia. It is a lighthearted drama, the leading couple has a playful nice chemistry, and they remain steadfast and supportive of each other all the way throughout the drama. The drama has a few twists that kept the story going, decent action scenes, a precocious kid that brings a lot of humor and emotional sense to the drama, and a good supporting cast. Although the drama is very cliché and the ending could have been better, it is a good enough one to watch while waiting for a great one to come.

Great Xianxa with 3 great actors

Great Xianxia drama with 3 great leads: the chivalrous and protective ML = Lui Xue Yi ❤❤❤, the young mother and her son!!

Story (well written and somewhat coherent):
A genius doctor FL, searching for her son's unknown father, encounters the lord ML (martial art) fighting an evil cult. Fate will bring them together in this fight.

The ML-FL relationship is very cute (with a lot of kisses :), and the father-son interactions are tasty. The other actors are good, without being so convincing.

The production is dynamic and there is no length in this 24 episode format (it's rare!).
The special effects are of high quality (scorpion).

In short, a drama recommended to fans of the genre and those of Lui Xueyi..
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feel good sweet story

Seeing LIU XUE YI as the male leading role caught my eye and I did not hesitate. He may often get casted in a supporting role but he never gets overshadowed by the lead actors or actresses. In this drama as the lead role he shines but over power the other actors. The story was funny and sweet. I love how the two female characters acts so strong and sweet and all the sudden can be a shrew . hahahahaaha!!!! The antagonist in this drama is quite the mastermind. (don't want to spoil too much) Overall, i love watching this drama and for me its the type that i can rewatch again and again.

Liu Sue Yi should have better scripts and casts

Liu Sue Yi was the only reason why I watched this drama in the first place……

This drama’s script and dialogues are poor........ why they put this obnoxious kid Na Na in there is beyond me…..he is a big mouth, rude, uncontrollable, extremely unpleasant brat that greatly in need of a good spanking. His portrayal is not cute at all and kind of ruined the show for me. I can barely stand watching him.....he is a real turnoff.

I like Liu and seen him in many other performances. He is a decent actor…..but everyone else in this show is terrible.......... this drama is not a good choice for him………..I am on episode 8 now, and don’t know if I want to continue ......It is too bad,

Nice light hearted drama

The story is nicee infairness. I did not sense any plot fillers or draggy scenese at the moment. I rarely liked light hearted dramas but Qing Luo is exceptional. It has cliche elements but all in all it is nice. Both leads are not weak. The female of course is weak in strength but at least not a damsel in distress. Her decisions may be annoying but I think it is reasonable since she is a mother. I love Ye Xiu Du and the actor!! He is so devoted to QingLuo. I also like her friend. Very loyal too and cute.
All in all nice Drama

Liu Xue Yi first protagonist role

Wow at last! Liu Xue Yi gets his first protagonist role. This is long awaited for and he has all the great qualities to become good actor. i'm so glad and really have high hope for this drama !! In the process of searching for Nan Nan's birth father, Qing Luo gets acquainted with Ye Xiu Du a Casanova (though was only pretended so that its easier to be undercover for his task) who is also a prince from FengCang kingdom. Qing Luo has amnesia when she was drown (thought to be tied to a rock at her feet and pushed into the river) and saved by Liu Li from the xiu Luo sect.

Meh

I don't begrudge the actors' need to earn money while honing their craft which is what most of these bread-and-butter dramas are basically good for. Qing Luo is extremely basic with a story that loses its plot process a few too many times. I liked the male lead, Liu Xue Yi, who I've seen in other bigger-budget dramas like Legend of the Dragon Pearl and Blood of Youth. He's extremely good looking but sadly he's never really gotten a meaty role that could have propelled him to the level of someone like Yang Yang who has a similar skill set. I don't know if it's his management agency who are derelict in their duties or whether he hasn't just had the luck to be picked for better roles. In any event, his performance here was sorta sweet but unmemorable.

The leading lady, Wang Zi Wei, on the other hand, has quite a few dramas where she's played mostly evil or unlikeable characters and to see her play a more harmonious role in QL was quite jarring. This is the risk inherent in playing such roles.

As for the plot, I found it to be a bit run-of-the-mill with no real big reveal or twist. The villains were also rather obvious and once our leads returned to the capital it became a game of whack-a-mole or should I say, whack-an-illness and another would immediately rear its head. I was bored
