Heartbreaking but So Full of Love

How to sum up FOE? This drama was a rollercoaster of emotions from start to end , that much is for sure. The story, set-up and actors all pull you in immediately and I remained 100% hooked until the end.

The leads definitely make this drama. Lee Joon Gi is an amazing actor who can portray every possible emotion needed and he’s so genuine every time - everything Hyun Su felt, I believed.

Oth I admit I came into this drama with very low expectations of Moon Chae Won. She’s never been in a single drama I’ve liked and I thought all she could do was cry. Well. She’s still exceedingly good at crying.
But holy crap!! She was excellent! Ji Won goes through the absolute most in this story imo. The utter betrayal, the conflict, the rollercoaster of emotions she suffers throughout and MCW portrayed every single moment so well. I was blown away by her every moment and I’m so glad the actress got this chance to show her range and her skill. I love when pure talent can change my opinion.

There are some story choices - especially towards the end - that keep this drama from being a perfect 10 or 9 for me. But even those can’t drop it any more than that. I was emotionally invested in this small, strange family as they navigate the craziest of situations. Ultimately this is a story about true love and despite all the angst, it shows how important it is for everyone to have just one person fighting their corner against the world.

Imo it also serves as a lesson in empathy & responsibility. So much of the ML (and his sister’s) problems stem from the fact that at every turn in their life they were denied empathy and the path it led them down. Oth, the failure of some characters to take responsibility for their choices vs the bravery of others, like Ji Won to never step away from her responsibilities as a cop, mother & wife, shaped the story in huge important ways.

I definitely recommend! Obviously! & for many of you I’m sure those story choices that bothered me won’t even bother you so you might end up finding your next perfect 10 or 9 drama!!

my first 10/10 drama on here

its amazing how this show is able to connect all the events of the crime and string it all into 1 cohesive plot. ill never forget the satisfying moment in the episode where everything finally clicked together and i was finally able to make sense of it all.

there are so many great character personalities and relationships which i think is what makes this show so great and so angsty. i think its perfect how this show's underlying theme is love and how you'll do anything for the people you love.

so many incredible aspects of this drama; the actings one of a kind, lee joongi, the storyline.. its all breathtaking and it made me sad when it ended. truly i've never seen a drama like this with such 5 star qualities.

Very addictive!

I started watching the series while its on going and i have to say its really hard! Waiting every week for an episode then something suspenseful happened but you have to wait a week to know what really happened. The stoy was indeed very unique I haven’t seen any story or drama like Flower of Evil. The actors and actress’ chemistry was great too! I mean well Lee JoonGi never disappoints! I also love the OST especially DOKO’s Psycho!! The song is really great it matches the show’s theme. The reason my rewatch value is low because i think knowing the story is okay already don’t feel like you can keep on watching it again and again.

A 10/10 masterpiece

Finally finished Flower Of Evil and what a great drama it was. Amazing story, suspense and cliffhangers in every episodes. The amount of goosebumps I got is uncountable. Lee joon gi and Moon chae won did an amazing job and also the lil one. Everyone acted so well + The chemistry between leads, their love & trust for each other. The father-daughter relationship was so heartwarming. The way Lee joon gi portrayed his role, the development of his character hyun so, from unable to Express feelings to start caring for someone, loving someone.Joon gi portrayed so realistically, Moon chae won as ji won was equally incredible, she had a major role in hyun so's development. I couldn't hold tears seeing her crying and being emotional. Osts are good too. I cried a river in last two eps. The Climax 😭😭overall, it was a masterpiece for me. It's 10/10 drama. would recommend everyone who haven't watched yet. It's a must watch🥺💚

A true drama

This is one of the best shows I have watched. I remained on the edge of my seat. I wondered what was coming next and I believed in him as much as his wife did. I could not say one bad thing about this and I could say a million good things and it would not be enough. This was a roller coaster of emotion. I will watch it again since I am reading the subtitles and I find that I always watch something I really love and see things I missed the first time. I have watched some programs 4-5 times gaining a better understanding each time by picking up on things I did not see initially. This will definitely be one of those. This should become a national treasure and I look forward to seeing more works with the cast in it. Indeed there could be more series of this. Great job done by any and everyone that did the smallest to the greatest thing in producing the MASTERPIECE.

Lee Joon Gi Oppa!!

I really like the character played by Lee Joon Gi here.. he really is the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. Lots of unexpected plot twists. throughout the story we are only made suspicious of the main character. because of the appearance of the main character who is cold, mysterious, and seems manipulative... an ordinary person like me must also suspect him.

for Lee Joon Gi Oppa.. I saw him for the first time in this drama and I really like him. how shocked i was when i saw it in real life. he really is a very different person. in the real world, he is a good person who is very passionate and cheerful.

Worth watching show. I was always eager to know what's gonna happen next. After 'The World of The Married' this is the 1st show that gave me shock & thrill on that level. It wasn't as torturous as 'The World of The Married' but still it was quite captivating from the begining. The acting was always on point & the music added more thrills to this drama. While watching this my brain was spinning with infinite theories & I was very happy when the theories got right. The story was very mysterious & amazing, I could realize how bad can society react to the family of a psychopath & make them believe they're mentally unstable too, Overall, it was an excellent show & a must watch if you like thrills.

literally flawless

watch this drama. it’s tear jerking, joyful, seat gripping, nail biting- quite literally everything.
i enjoy the plot- it’s complicated but perfectly understandable- it’s smart and well thought out. it lacks unnecessary aspects that other dramas have, instead every part of it is perfect. it isn’t rushed and instead goes at the perfect pace. the acting is amazing, specifically that of the leads. every character plays a perfect role and there are no loose ends hanging about. the depiction of the male leads development is incredibly detailed and realistic and his personality is definitively shown through his words and actions. this drama is just incredibly well done and it’s high ranking is well warranted. when i started watching this drama i didn’t expect it to be so good but in eventuality this is a drama you can watch at your own pace but your experience will be the same: you’ll find it to be one of the best dramas you’ve ever watched. i know i do!

I thought I wouldn't like crime dramas so I was scared to try it out and someone said it was boring so I thought I would've wasted my time. To be honest, the first 1-2 episodes didn't get me but after that, it got really interesting and intense. I have watched Vincenzo and I didn't like it too much and I have watched penthouse and I liked it a lot so I trusted it. The reviews were really nice too! It's pretty rare for me to get tears when I watch k-dramas. My eyes would be watery but it's rare to see tears on my face when I watch k-dramas and this drama actually made me cry a lot. I tried not to cry but it was really hard. you should prepare yourself because you will cry during the drama and mostly on the last few episodes.

It started off a bit slow and at first, I was like, "okay, I will just watch the rest later". And when I kept watching it got so interesting that I ended up finishing almost 2 days. This show is a rollercoaster honestly. You get happy, then get mad, and then be sad and start crying. To be honest, this was one of the best crime dramas I have watched in a while after penthouse ended. I wasn't bored and it didn't feel like it was being dragged at all. I just wish I knew this drama sooner or could've been my first k-drama.

The acting was really good! I really loved everyone's acting. The chemistry between the two.. was just WOW! Everything was just so good. This is my first time watching a drama with lee joon-gi in it and I knew I would love his acting so much so I tried it out. Actually, I saw his cameo in hotel del luna and I wished he was in more episodes but unfortunately, he was only a cameo. I would definitely rewatch this drama. I don't regret spending my time watching this, it was really good! I think it would be really hard for me to move on from this drama.

IF YOU LOVE CRIME OR IF YOU WANT TO TRY A CRIME DRAMA THIS IS IT!

This drama is wonderful, at first I admit that I don't like it, as the story progresses, I love it.
It made me cry, I was held in high suspense by the killer but oks.
I think the protagonists did a great job, making such a lovely family he was a too complete husband.I died of tenderness to see him taking care of the baby with so much care
The protagonist made me a little angry but the truth had her reasons
I think the journalist gave him that air of humor out of everything
Well anyway I stayed trapped.
The end was wonderful a total work of art

Every humans have the flower of evil. Psychopaths are the ones who nurture their flower.

ΦΦΦ
"Psychopaths."
What comes to your mind when you hear this psychology term?
A person who is unable to feel emotions or empathy. A person who is can easily manipulate others for their benefit. A person who is less human. Serial killer. Fucked up personality.
Etc. Etc.

It is known that psychopaths are those who are feared and abhorred by everyone. They are bad news, and should be avoided.
Why? Because they can't feel emotions. They won't emphathise with anyone.

But, psychopaths are still human.
They bleed like us. They can get hurt like us(emotionally). Even they have the ability to love. They can be sad, angry, jealous, guilty.
This society has a great prejudice against psychopaths. It isn't necessary that every psychopaths will be a murderer. No! Even they can lead a normal life like everybody else.

This is what the drama: "The flower of evil" shows us, magni-fucking-ficently!

The story is just great. Truly a masterpiece! The characters are so relateable, the setting perfect and the actors have done a mind blowing job. Hats off to them!

This drama just has everything fucking thing. You name it; Romance, Drama, Action, Mystery, Suspense, Thriller.
It will make you laugh, make you feel wholesome, then shock you with a twist, keep you guessing on the edge of your seats, completely take you by surprise and then leave you with heart warming but tear jerking moments.

(Now that you have read this review. I really appreciate it. So now GO AND WATCH THIS DRAMA.)

Probably going to be my new fav kdrama for a while

I haven't watched that many Kdrama titles but the storyline of "Flower of Evil" seemed really interesting so I decided to watch this series. I did consider dropping this series because it revolves around murder and death, and I haven't been too well mentally so some scenes made me a little bit uncomfortable. However, I figured that it wasn't too dark, plus I couldn't really stop watching because the plot was so interesting haha.

I have mixed feelings regarding the ML. He's a character that I want to love, but so many things keep holding me back. I did like how his character developed, but I think there were some inconsistencies here and there, but nothing too major that threw me off.

My favorite character is the FML. I know some people found her annoying because she cried a lot but instead of being annoyed, I pitied her. If I was in her position, I don't think I would've done what she did, not gonna lie. Her love for her husband really touched my heart; sometimes I wonder if people can really love as much as she did.

The storyline was pretty intense and there were a lot of foreshadowing. I was confused for a long time but eventually, things started to fall into place. This drama made me scream and cry a lot hahaha. I am a huge fan of melodrama and I really enjoyed this one.
