Friend Possessive is a thing yall

Friend Possessive is a thing yall

These two are definitely something.

Okay, about the headline: "Friend Possessive is a thing yall." You know when someone is in a relationship (non-platonic) with another person and they get a little jealous whenever they are with another person? That's called one of two things. You are super fucking weird and need help. Or possessive.

Now imagine that but with your friend(s). That is what I like to call Friend Possessive. You get kinda jealous whenever your friend is doing something that does not involve you or something that just you guys used to do.

Get the difference? Regular possessive is will non-platonic relationships while Friend Possessive is with friends only.

At first, it was just Teh being possessive. He would get a little jealous and start sulking every time Oh would hang out or do stuff that they just do together. But now Oh was also doing it soooo. It's mutual friend possessiveness.

I went back to read the tags and it literally says "Jealous Male Lead" SOOOOOO, that explains a lot

This episode also felt never-ending. Very very long...I did also pause a lot to analyze what was happening.

I'm glad they are both supporting each other's relationships with others. Let's see how this turns out.

*Spoiler* that I just kind of spoiled for myself:

- So I know these two have a happy ending (not really a spoiler. Don't think it would have such high ratings if it didn’t)

- However, that happy ending isn't permanent since they do have a sequel and the description literally says Teh starts crushing on someone else

- Hopefully, I can ingrain that into your head instead of my own-

This is why I don't read descriptions -.-

- They got that good good chemistry

Sorry about the grammar (and spoils), english is my first language I am just bad at it.

I feel like I'm alone in this opinion,…

I feel like I'm alone in this opinion, but I just don't really like this episode. It's super cringe and just weird I feel like. I like the ending scene, but that's the only redeeming part of this episode.

😌😊😊😊

I enjoyed this episode waaaay more.• Teh’s jealouse and self destructive behaviour made me cringe a lot as it low-key reminded me of myself so I’m gonna have to fix that 😅,but it’s definitely interesting as we can see his growing confusion.• Oh’s patience is amazing 😂😂• I know it will never happen but I find the crush between Oh and Bas so cute but by the end of the episode I’m looking forward to Oh and Teh now.• Oh aew is now my favourite character. He seems tough and stubborn but he’s so soft spoken, patient and just so cute and sweet .I’m really enjoying the whole vibe of this show

Wait, what?

So, the story gets more complicated. As the main characters start to become friends again (you didn’t that was the point since it’s a BL show), you see how they are starting to trust each other to the point that both of them confess how they actually like (not them). In one side, you have Teh; he is being trying to be with a class make that loves to draw and to be honest, she is very pretty (yes, I said she). On the other hand, Oh-aew confess that he likes Bass (one of their mutual friends). But all this started because Teh got upset with Oh-aew to a point that it looks more like jealousy but ones they confess to each other who they like, Teh is happy for Oh-aew and even tries to help him out.Well, as the story develops, Teh plan to help him out work so good, that Bass looks like he understood that if he doesn’t act fast, somebody can take Oh-aew for themselves. So, Bass immediately offer Oh-aew to help him out on tutoring. Oh-aew love the idea and start discussing with Teh about it, but Teh got upset. Why? Well, did he get jealous again? But why? He agrees to help Teh to see if he can start dating Bass. So why he got mad?

Five Stars

I really love how the actors portray their characters it’s just that they act like normal maybe because they’ve known each other for years like the two leading actors. I’m looking forward for this two.

Incredible!

I can't believe how good this show is, 2 episodes in and I can safely say it's the best drama I've ever seen.

Splendid

They can't make it more perfect than it already is. They is nothing needed to be added or missing. 9.4 is even too low a rating in my opinion. It deserves higher than 9.7. It has done justice to every element of cinematography. Call me by your name, brokeback mountain etc may have a greater international recognition. But for me this series has brought to light many feelings of understanding, agony, fear, sadness, innocence, jealousy, anger, confusion and so on in a very subtle, smooth, flawless technique. It had made me feel the rush of emotions like no other. The storyline is very simple,it's just the realization of feelings and confronting it between two teenage boys but it's too realistic to the core and heart tingling,so pure that I'm afraid to miss even a moment of understanding the meaning of all those little stares, touches and words lest I feel disconnected the next sec. If I have to choose one to watch all over again repeatedly, there is no doubt I would choose this.

Even better than episode 1

One of the things that threw me for a loop was the disconnect between Oh-aew as a kid vs as a teenager. I found his lack of passion as a kid really relatable, which may have made his older self, who seems to take everything very seriously, even harder to swallow for me. I realized in this episode that his lack of confidence in his scholastic abilities have been affecting the way he acts in a big way, and that's helped me reconcile the gap I was seeing between his younger and current self. I'm not sure if this makes sense to anyone else, but either way, it was a joy to watch him gain some confidence and start to smile more this episode! I've been waiting to see the bond between Teh and Oh-aew kind of come back to life from childhood, and it was really a treat to watch them picking up on each others' nuances again. Teh's jealousy (and along with that, his confusion) feels realistic and extremely well done, in terms of acting. The interactions with their friends are very interesting - Teh has more friends than Oh-aew, while Oh-aew has formed deeper friendships. I've never seen a bl address friendship in such an in-depth way before, and I think we can view Teh and Oh-aew as foils in this way. When they stopped being friends, they lost the peer they were most intimate with and responded to it in different ways. Teh kept a subtle distance between himself and any friends he made, and he made friends easily because part of that distance was made by not caring. On the other hand, upon losing a friend and feeling hurt, Oh-aew turned to his other friends as a means of healing, consequently increasing the intimacy of those relationships. I was so thrilled that Teh actually talked to Oh-aew about how he was feeling-- I mean, good communication in a bl??? Unheard of. Delicious.I had a feeling there was something between Oh-aew and Bas!!! But I wasn't sure if it was just a me thing!!! I'm so glad they went there!!! I'm so thrilled with Teh's reaction!!! That whole conversation was so adorable I was smiling ear to ear. And then the lunch thing! Oh-aew being the definition of panicked gay was wonderful.I'm coming to realize that one of the best things about this show has been the nuance of the characters. I am delighted by their complexities: the way Oh-aew hesitates to go after what he wants in conflict with Teh's go-getter attitude, and the flip side of that, Oh-aew has a soft and kind heart while Teh has a tendency to be deliberately cruel when things don't go his way, just the same as when he was a kid. Teh is great at studying for school, but not so well versed in his own emotions. They don't fit into the boxes that we've come to expect with bl dramas, the really extreme, opposites attract characters. Nothing against those characters, but this approach is very intriguing to me. It actually made me nervous in the first episode, because although I think these characters are more realistic to life, the lack of clearcut lines between characters had me feeling like they lacked personality/consistency. As I watch more of the series, I feel more confident in the writers' capabilities and I'm realizing that placing the characters in somewhat of a grey space was wonderfully deliberate. Also of note: I quite like the soundtrack! Every episode feels like a movie and I think the soundtrack really adds a lot to the atmosphere of each scene.Okay that's enough rambling that no one will ever read. Peace X
