I just want to say that it's so relatable to me. All of that thing, i love how they act, their chemistry even theres no dialog you can feel the chemistry between them. The story inspired me to study more on theater arts/performing arts to inspire others and make them cry and happy and show who are they and what they feel. I want to watch it again and again.List why you need to watch this:
1. The movie puts you into a roller coaster scene
2. It makes you cry like a baby
3. You have a runny nose when you watch this in one day
4. It makes you realized that we need to accept who they are and what they want to be.

Masterpiece is an understatement for this work of art
I Told Sunset About You truly is a gem to behold. It's a phenomenal work of art that deserves all the praise it receives and more. The themes are realistic, the portrayals are realistic, with amazing additions of symbolism. It strays away from the fantasy BL genre and into an eye-opening LGBTQ+ coming-of-age that everyone needs to watch. Acting goes above and beyond acting; these characters feel like real people going through real struggles. The chemistry is strong, you can feel the intimacy bleed off the screen with Billkin and PP Krit. Music is sentimental and really adds onto the scenes. OSTs are beautiful. Sceneries are gorgeous. Cinematography is breathtakingly beautiful, with a nice vintage-y atmosphere.I've said it once I'll say it again: this series is a MUST WATCH. Strong 10/10.

This show added 10 years to my life span
I've watched so many BLs but this was the one I related to the most. As a queer enby teenager, I was able to relate to Teh and Ohaew immensely. There were so many scenes in the show that reflected my personal experiences. The acting was top-notch and they really did a good job of conveying every feeling. Gosh, this show is just so good y'all like LKAJLKJFSLJF. Also, that goddam soundtrack. t e a r s. If you're a queer teenager, you NEED to watch this. It's so relatable, so well-directed, and so well-acted. I see a bunch of people in the reviews saying that they didn't understand some of the choices that the characters made, but I personally have made very similar choices so that just made it feel more real/relatable. but yee t'was good ill def rewatch before part two comes out :DWas this review helpful to you?
ITSAY SOTY
Hands down to the producer and all the crew that works behind this series is beautifully done the cinematography the script the chemistry everything scream perfection itsay really made other bl series that i've watch became plain that's how impactful this series to me it hits hard. Also BKPP!!! both of them are such amazing actors their chemistry are insane how they executed every scenes are so impressive. I love how they didn't even need to talk much or even have a very long make out and bed session to show the se*ual tension just subtle touch, glances already made the audience feeling their chemistry im so so proud of them and they totally deserve all the recognition for their hardwork. MUST WATCH!
This show was like that one really sweet grape that you won't have or find again.I Told Sunset About You is a drama with a not-so-worth-mentioning plot and average storyline. What makes it stand out in its genre, though, is the incredibly meaningful script, its perfect pace, the detailed and to-the-point acting, the little angst, and the necessary drama.
In the beginning, I was truly a bit concerned about the chemistry between the leads. There was close to none of it and being a romance lover, I walked in expecting some sort of instant connection between the two protagonists. But then, I came to realize this was a total slow burn and needed patience, and before I knew it, more than the romance, I started watching it for the beauty of the show, its wonderful cinematography, and its poignant yet realistic nature of the plot.
As a BL lover, I obviously watched my share of the genre, and I can confidently say that I rarely found any BL's deal with the 'coming out of the closet' problems and ITSAY does that really really well.
The actors did an AMAZING job. I was totally immersed in the show and the OST clearly was a bonus. The sceneries were beautiful. The side characters (most of them) were memorable and lovable.
In general, the quality of this show by far exceeded almost every BL I have watched (especially every Thai BL I have watched). It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but no matter what, it is worth giving a shot.

BEST SERIES EVER
Out of all the series that I have watched, I Told Sunset About You is probably the best one that I ever watched to date...💖💯 Every element and aspect of it has everything and prolly could be called as a "Masterpiece" and P E R F E C T. 👑💘 I've never been so crazy who cries, laughs and felt every emotion that I could feel like im in a roller coaster ride. 😭🤧The series itself thought a lot of lessons in life and focuses not just the love that are seen on two persons, but it gives significance to to the problems and struggles that an individual might face whether in one's identity, family, friends and community. 💖The issues about LGBTQIA++ is really addressed and was delivered in a realistic manner where everyone can relate and reflect... 💘😊The cast, musical scoring, cinematography, director, crew/staffs and each person that made this series possible are superb and truly one of a kind. The symbolism and details that it has are truly impeccable. The remarkable bra scene which was improvised just blew the minds of the viewers with the message that it portrays to each one of us. The crying scenes are one of a kind and it really made me cry a lot. (RIP to the large amount of tissues that i consumed🤣). Kudos and big round of applause for this wholesome and one of a kind series that Nadao Bangkok gave to us. ITSAY would really have a special place in my heart forever. The best BL series in 2020 (or ever?!)
Honestly, this has immediately became my favorite BL series / the best BL series in my heart. Nothing much to say about the plot, I feel like it's somewhat typical, the main difference is just the way that they present the story! Everything is so on-point! The scenes are so artistic, the shooting locations are perfectly matched with the story background. The colors of the series are great, it gives like an ancient SouthEast vibe. Both the actors are soooooo good at what they do, I can see some awkward parts, but that didn't disturb any second of my viewing experience. They are kind of new actors, so I can see there's definitely a bright acting future ahead for them (if they can cry more beautifully ahahahaha). Throughout the series, I can feel how much work the team has put into it, and they've surely created a masterpiece!!! I recommend this to everyone! Go watch it!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Most Impressive BL Drama/Series in 2020 (and maybe of all time)
Watching ITSAY was a great way to end 2020. The acting was phenomenal, the cinematography was so beautiful, and the story was very rich in emotions. This was my first time seeing Billkin and PP onscreen, and I was so impressed by their chemistry, especially the way they look into each other's eyes. Some of the best moments were the parts where not a word was spoken, when the two of them were lost in their own world and their souls connected. Just magic.I also enjoyed how ITSAY focuses on the Sino-Thai culture in Thailand, particularly the Hokkien community in Phuket. This series includes things like the Hokkien-style temple, Chinese language, and Hokkien food to showcase the cultural heritage of some of the families in Thailand. I also like the fact that they included the Southern Thai dialect in some of the dialogue since they are in Phuket. Love that they paid attention to the local culture.
Without giving too much away, I just want to say ITSAY is truly a masterpiece in the LGBTQ+ category. Instead of having cute BL scenes, this drama focuses on the happiness, confusion, and sacrifices one might go through in a coming of age story. I hope ITSAY can reach a wider audience because this show needs to be talked about!

MASTERPIECE
It's my first time writing a review about a drama on mydramalist , but I just couldn't help it .I remember staying awake all night just to finish this drama, and I didn't feel time passing!!
Everything about it is perfect , the plot , the acting, the lead actors ,the supportive actors , the OST, the cinematography etc ... I had all kind of emotions while watching it , I was happy , sad , afraid , angry ... I smiled a lot and cried a lot and I just couldn't handle all those feelings inside of me !
This should not be classed as a Bl drama, this title is very limited in my opinion , it refers usually to those dumb dramas with awkward stories and forced romance ,which it not the case here , It's deep and warm .
I recommend this drama at 100 % .

BEAUTIFUL!
I can rewatch this for years and still be watching like its my first time. Made me fall in love with the scenery and with phuket. all the beaches, food, sports adventure, as well as culture and landmarks. JUST BEAUTIFUL MADE ME WANT TO VISIT IT MYSELF. Its like the scenery was made for you to fall in love. Pictured so perfectly. And the storyline is soooo beautiful. Realistic, romantic and adorable.To view, contempt, to die for...to binge. The definition of masterpiece. Every episode itself is full of emotions and dreamy scenes.....scenes that go way beyond the screen right into the viewers hearts. It's a struggle of showing real emotions or just go with social norms. The main actors chemistry is undeniable and we thank them for this...for doing their roles (and not only) so vivid and real. The OST is absolutely lovely and everything this show has, it's a maximum. You can't ask for more.

AMAZING
One of the best shows I have ever watched! The acting by the lead roles is amazing!!!!! I have watched it twice now, I cannot get over how good their acting is. They did not even have to say much. Even their small gestures and facial expressions said a lot about what they were feeling. The music was also so well put. It really made you feel certain emotions for example happiness or sadness while watching. They put that so well! I really recommend to watch this show. I hope they get a lot of views, and will be able to continue making more seasons. I can't wait until part 2 is released. The storyline was also so good. I don't even know what to say anymore other than that this show was so greatly put together. They did an amazing job! Congrats to everyone who helped create it.Was this review helpful to you?
Top 2 BL shows in history
I shall just leave it here. This show together with tale of a thousand stars should be the new standard for Thai BLs moving forward. Amazing storyline, chemistry, acting and music.The story line is refreshing, isnt cliche and most importantly it's well paced. The only thing i can complain is (same as what i mentioned about 1000 stars), the show contains alot of emotional scenes and therefore, hard to rewatch. I believe this is the reason why these 2 shows despite having great reviews, have much lesser views compared to other BLs.
