Beautifully crafted
So i have watched thai bl's and some were good but many of their were either too Cliché or feels more like pure fan-servicing ( they have these nice body and faces so yeah anybody will feel attracted) but as i said there are still some good ones. But this particular series yeah THIS series just blown my mind , made my heart to come out from my chest and i made a puddle of my own tears . I was overwhelmed and still overwhelmed by this MASTERPIECE. It is not simply a bl but also shows the hard and truth reality of teen- life that many fail to show and accept ,But this piece did that it showed us and that what makes this piece a masterpiece . And the chemistry between oh aew and teh made me feel so many emotions that i love it from the bottom of my heart. This series raised the standard so high . I have never seen such a amazing thai bl , the story, the cast , cinematography, ost's , location, dialogues , set ... everything is just beautifully crafted . A Run Towards Love
"You can't control what others think about you."This is definitely a top tier coming of age story. There is love, friendship, and most of all, plenty of angst to go around.
While there are many BL's out there that are fluffy and dish out a light dusting of angst, ITSAY takes the cake on the later and runs with it. The story of two boys who are growing into themselves, their feelings, and dreams rings too true and will hit close to home for many. The acting in ITSAY is phenomenal and I have no complaints on that front. This drama really confronts societal pressures and facing your own feelings head on. The cinematography was beautiful, and the shots in this were very pleasing.
If I'm being honest, the angst in ITSAY was a little heavy for my taste, but if you're a glutton for emotional punishment then this is definitely for you. I appreciated the lack of evil characters, and that the story mainly revolved around the two ML's. This is where the push and pull was heavy, but very character building between the two. Since there is very little outside pressure added to the mix, it allowed the viewer to focus more on the prominent chemistry with the leads. Though some scenes were filled to the brim with emotion and left me slightly uncomfortable, they captured the essence of growing pains to the fullest.
All in all, a good series, but definitely not a light one. I would recommend watching if you're looking for a BL with substance and beautiful cinematography.

EXPLORING THEMSELVES!!!!!
I like most thai dramas giving importance to LGBT but this drama explains how do they EXPLORE Themselves what their likes and dislikes are.IT'S WORTH WATCHING!!!!
It says love doesn't have gender barrier if you truly love it. How can one explain himself what is more important and what he need to face to get it.
Teenage crush, love, sexual feelings are portrayed very beautifully and neatly.
the feeling of friendship between a group is cool.
The main characters helplessness for not getting what they need is again a breakthrough of the plot which was amazingly showed.

THIS IS A MASTERPIECE.
I don't have so say so much just watch it. It will leave you in tears and wanting for more. ITSAY set the standards for Thai Series. The plot was actually very simple but the way it was told was majestic. Nadao Bangkok has been known in producing quality series and ITSAY was the best of them in my humble opinion. After watching, you would not only appreciate the actors who played their role in a way that will really hurt you but also the entire production team as they were able to bring a very cohesive story.Was this review helpful to you?

I'll try to keep this short as much as I can.This is def one of the best Dramas of all time, and I'm not just talking about BL or Asian. I MEANT ALL DRAMAS I'VE EVER WATCHED.
What makes this show a 11/10 for me:
- FIRST AND FOREMOST, THE SEXUAL TENSION OF TEH AND OH. MYGAAAADD I CANT WITH THESE TWOOOO
- Killer chemistry between the main leads as Best Friends, rivals, and lovers. They're obviously soulmates!!
- How they portrayed their role. All those crying scenes. They didnt give a damn how ugly they looked or if their salivas are dripping or they have a runny nose everytime they cry. Such talented actors. They're still young but you'd be amazed by how they project themselves on screen. KUDOS GUYS!
- Cinematography and Videography. Camera movement is perfection may it be in a running or steady scene.
- All those scenes where the camera didn't change angles just goes to show how talented the actors are having embraced their characters' persona and memorized their lines perfectly and characters by heart.
- OST. I'M FREAKING INLOVE WITH ALL VERSIONS OF IT both in Thai and Chinese. And the mainleads sang each their versions tooo. Super talented.
- Storyline. The conflict and goal may seem simple, but the journey is really unpredictable and it touches your heart and you can relate to some of the characters in so many ways.
- Script. The timing of what was said, how it was said, when it was said, and why it was said, FREAKING BRILLIANT!!
- There were a lot of scenes where no words were spoken and the camera is just focused on the expressions of their faces yet you would be missing a lot if you dont get to see those. The more they dont say anything, the more you get what they're feeling
- Beautiful places and streets in Thailand.
- Incorporation of the Chinese language.
- Very sensible and realistic. Sensible in a sense where they didn't went with the stereotypical bl stories by destroying the image of each other main lead's liked person at first. Their roles are significant to the mainlead's charactee development.
- Hoon. Teh's brother. I'd want to have a brother who listens and gives advices like him.
- Bas. He's soooooo cuuuuteeee
- Teh and Oh's cute teases of each other.
- The title 'I Told Sunset About You' is so powerful, whoever chose it, I'd consider a genius.
- The series is not that long to watch too.
Oops sorry I know I said to keep it short. I got carried away while writing the review. What can I sayn I just love everything about ITSAY.

I am not the type of person why cries over movies but dang I can't put to words how much this series has moved/affected me in many different ways. It was as if every dormant emotional hormones (serotonin, endorphins, dopamine, oxytocin, adrenaline, etc. ) I have were awakened. It penetrates deep into my hypothalamus and amygdala 🧠 down to my heart ❤️😅 I love how the actors had brought me to empathize with their characters as if I was involved in every scene - everything was raw... and profound and...sensational and all other praises you could possibly think of. A big kudos to the director, screenwriters, and every crew members who turned this series into a masterpiece. It will take me forever to move on from this marvelous work of art. Masterpiece
I truly amazed after watching this drama. I didnt expected this drama would be this much good when i started to watch. Each and every episode is very realistic emotional ride. Really happy i found MDL .Without MDL i wouldnt even thoght about watching a Thailand movie in my lifetime.I am happy i was able to find this gem.Really surprised that Culture wise its same to my country.The rituals ,belief,parents mentality evrything portryed very natural way.It was very relatable. Acting wise Wow! such a talented main leads.How they are acting like this in such a young age?!! Both male leads are not acted, but lived in this drama.It was like am watching their life through hidden camera.This drama has whole bunch of friendship,Romance,motivation,family vibes.DONT MISS ITWas this review helpful to you?
Heartbreaking, Breathtaking, and Emotionally Stunning
This is what this series is. It is not a BL series in the classic or traditional sense but a ‘coming out’ series that shows the pain and heartbreak of acceptance. It is a story about a friendship between two boys. I must depart for just a second to commend the director for his absolute commitment to nuisances, mannerisms, and details that were captured by the young actors that carried over to the older ones. It is not easy to carry the personalities and idiosyncrasies of a person without looking like you are mimicking them, but he did it with these two young actors. They are superb and studied their older characters to display their same characteristics. It is a thing of beauty to watch. Their friendship developed fast and intense as children. I cannot say enough about the acting of the two main characters. The intensity of connection to one another is simply palpable. This is very close to being a BL masterpiece. simple but not regular
where do I even start from?for starters this is not your quintessential (thai) bl. this is really much more than those. the characters have depth, may it be the main characters or the side characters, the storyline has a flow and all the ups and downs it needs, it's like a journey that you feel like you're a part of. it's about friendship turning to love and the process of finding yourself is painful but so beautiful. that's the beauty of this shows, it really digs into two perspectives, one who already knows themself and the other finding themself.
and oh the cinematography, it is to die for, it's so beautiful, phuket is really beautiful.
there's literally nothing in the show that I can say wasn't good.
I'm not a big fan of thai osts but that didn't affect my liking also the original scores that are background music are so beautiful (they even released them on yt, listen after you're done with the show).
I've seen quite a few shows/movies like this one (beautiful, serene) but this just tops not just the bl list but overall romantic list.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
This was truly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I will never be the same after watching this and no i am not over-exaggerating it rly is a masterpiece. To be able to make the viewer feel SO MUCH with a plot that lacks in the typical tools used to make people FEEL things (such as death and major tragedy) truly makes this so wonderfully unique and poignant. Honestly I couldn't even watch episodes unless I was in the right state of mind bc of the emotional pull every episode had. 10/10 and not just bkpp but everyone's (special shout outs to the actors for tan and hoon) acting was so thoughtful and believable. I'm honestly curious what they'll do with a 2nd season but I'm sure it'll be another emotional rollercoaster that I WILL be signing up forWas this review helpful to you?

this is a high-quality series, it made me stan the entire nadao bangkok. the characters were well-representedby the casts, the emotions are always there, the concept was very detailed, the effort the crew poured in, the directing, the scenes, and the cinematography, it was all very meticulous. i have been rewatching this since i finished it and until now i still feel the emotions. empathy is the key to appreciate this drama better; you can watch and feel anger, confusion, love, and other things but if you try to understand the characters better, it becomes a new world for you. my favorite bl series so far.Was this review helpful to you?
