Tragicomic Ghost reprimands Wen Ke Xing for his madness, but Beauty Ghost understands his intentions. He asks her about her past encounter with the Qin Huai Zhang, Master of the Four Seasons Manor prior to giving her a new task. Cheng Ling receives a note from Xu asking him to meet him that night. However, he is kidnapped by the Scorpion Assasins instead. Zhou Xu, who was resting there sees him being taken away and chases them. Wen Ke Xing, who was at Yueyang, meets a few disciples of the sect who inform him about the events. He captures an escaping Qin Song for information, finally killing him. Cheng Ling is tortured by two assassins - Pretty Arhat and Evil Bodhissatva. Zhou Xue and Wen Ke Xing arrives in time to fight them off. They are stopped by the Scorpion King, who recognizes them. Cheng Ling, Ah' Xue and Wen Ke Xing manage to escape, taking rest in a nearby forest. Wen Ke Xing refuses to reveal his true identity once again to Zhou Xue. Cheng Ling tells them that they are the only ones who actually care about him and the only ones he truly trust. He reveals the location of the Glazed Armor and the details of a letter left for Elder Changming Sword Immortal by his father before dying. Rong Xuan, the owner of the armor, had won a battle against his brothers, the leaders of the Five Lakes Alliance, but he was heavily poisoned by Gao Chong's sword, causing him to be possessed and mad. No one stood up to take responsibility for their actions, leading to his death. Back at Yueyang Sect, Gao Chong pays his respects and has a talk with the memorial tablets of his brothers in a hidden room. Zhou Xu reveals his true past to Cheng Ling. His master, Qin Huai Zhang had unexpectedly passed away, forcing him to take his disciples to follow the Jin Military Governor, where he had founded the Window of Heaven, an organisation of assassins. All of his brothers had died until he alone was the sole survivor. Cheng Ling confirms that he still wanted him as his master, despite his dark past and Zhou Xue happily accepts him as the first disciple of the 6th generation who would uphold the honor of the Four Seasons Manor.
