Honestly I'm very disappointed

First of all I really loved and a big fan of the manga and then anime.

When I heard one of my favorite anime and manga will be made into live-action. I am so thrilled. I can not wait to see it. Even I know mostly whatever it is being adapted not as good as the original one. But I'm still so thrilled by that announcement.

Then another announcement came out Ciel Phantomhive is played by a girl. and I'm like "wait...what???" "what the...??" "NO F WAY!!" (Yeah I know in the anime Ciel is voiced by a woman).

When the movie came out, me and my friends, my fellow Kuroshitsuji fans, were so excited. We watched it together. Then TADA!! We were so disappointed.

Turn out the announcement is true. Film changes the setting and the character. The setting of the original manga which was set in 19th-century London to an unnamed Eastern nation in the year 2020. The character Ciel Phantomhive is replaced by Ayame Goriki play as Shiori Genpo, a descendant of the prestigious aristocratic family Phantomhive. She'll be playing a girl who assumes a male disguise named Kiyoharu.

AND that is my biggest disappointment. Earl Kiyohara Genpu replacing Earl Ciel Phantomhive. I mean, WHY???? I know it's kind of silly but COME ON I just want to see Ciel in a live-action version because he's my second favorite (manga and/or anime) character after Sebby of course.

There is something that feels off too. I can't explain what it is, maybe the story or maybe the character or something else I don't know. Well at least my friends is agreed with me.

Rating: 6/10 (Well, because Kuroshitsuji still my favorite anime and manga and Mizushima Hiro is one of my favorite actor).

First of all, when my sister and I heard that Kuroshitsuji (Black butler) was going to have a live action, we were really very excited and waited for it to be subbed and finally it did...it was even aired in all SM Cinema's which got us hyped up and quickly searched for the scheduled release (which was last wednesday, dated July 23rd) & then booked tickets (@SM MOA) to watch this movie ^_^. In the end, we weren't disappointed. It was really well done and praiseworthy and so far one of the best japanese drama I have ever watched. I really recommend it & hope you will also see it on big screen while it is still airing. Ganbatte~ne <3 (*Sugoiii @v@*) :)))

Honestly the movie was great. I admire the sets and story. Even though it is too far from the manga and anime, I still enjoyed it. The actor that portrayed Sebastian was good... no let me rephrase that.. He's great. Though is appearance is nothing like Sebastian (except for the suits), I can clearly see Sebastian in him.

My only complain would be the "young master". Not even considering that 'he's' a girl, The young master I know is not a wimp, not a cry baby and DEFINITELY NOT SOMEONE WHO WILL CHOOSE TO END HIS OWN LIFE.

I WOULD BE THANKFUL IF THE MOVIE DIDN'T UNDERESTIMATE NOR RUIN THE REPUTATION OF THE YOUNG MASTER THAT I LOVE...

Boy not Girl!

The main reason I am rating this lower, Is because the main character Ciel, is played by a female in this movie unlike in the anime where Ciel is played by a male.

There are a couple differences in the movie compared to the anime but besides the main character being a different gender you can overlook them.

Well there is one thing that you can’t overlook that was a main difference in the movie besides the main characters gender and it’s the reason the Aunt was trying to kill Ciel.

Besides these two things, the movie was overall acted very well and parts were played well. the scenes were made in such a way that you were drawn to what was happening in the moment.

The only reason I rated this slightly lower is for the main two reasons overall this is a very good movie and goes well according to first season of the anime.
