perfectly depicts a healthy relationship

It’s common to think that dramas with only a couple will be slightly boring as there are many dramas with multiple couples to keep the story going so as to fill in enough episodes. However, this drama shows how having only one couple can be amazing too.

I really love the relationship between JingJing and YuTu, both so understanding and trusting of each other. JingJing is also super adorable and lovely!!! Reba really did a good job portraying this character. Tbh, I didn’t finish any of her previous shows but this one is really good, definitely recommend! She’s so attractive. YangYang also portrayed the character well, and is also very charming.

Though I have to admit that there were many times when I cringed during their PDA. Though sweet, I couldn’t really handle their PDA. Hahaha, but if you could overlook these scenes, it’s really an enjoyable one. The plot was really good too, no unnecessary drama to drag the storyline.

Overall, I enjoyed this drama and would recommend if you enjoy a simple yet cute drama!

Life is too short for stressful drama.

Life is too short for stressful drama. Why spend all that time watching and be stressed? Don’t our lives already provide enough of that?

Summary of the series:
- Light hearted rom/com; series had great flow
- simpatico characters
- villains are kept at bay easily, no long struggles, calamity or miscommunications to cause more drama and stress
- love how the series dont stop when the ML/FL get together. The series continues. We seldom find this where you get to enjoy the happiness for a few more episodes after they become a couple.
- ending was not done succinctly, so glad no rush endings like lots over series

By far one of my fav of all time since I like joyful, stressless series: recommended to watch for sure

If you are looking for gratuitous stress/drama, frequent miscommunications, abrupt ending, insipid side stories, then this is not for you.

Expected Nothing Less from Gu Man

Both Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat's acting abilities shine bright in this drama. Acting alone deserves a watch. Gu Man's story telling never falls to impress me. While Love O2O, is a sweet early college love story this is a mature drama. It's nice seeing the female lead already know herself and very clear where she stands both in her job and her own feelings, while the Male lead is the one confused and lost on an uncertain path he doesn't fully understand. Both characters shine in their own right but also like the chemistry it's the real personal moments of encouragement and questions being asked in the dialogue that make this drama relatable especially to people who are in their late 20's and beyond. The uncertainty in life, and striving to work towards your dreams even after time has sunk in, hit close to home for me.

I highly recommend this drama. Gu Man didn't disappoint and Yang Yang and Dilraba's acting in this is some of their best I have seen.

This drama is honestly the first one that made me feel sad and alone...it was a weird feeling to have. Still don't know how I feel about that...

Should you watch this drama?

So there is a high chance that you might be wondering if you should watch this drama. My answer is YES because this drama is actually really unique. You are my glory is a romantic story between a top actress and an aerospace engineer. I think with this description, you might be expecting a very cliche plot with maybe reversed "rich girl poor boy roles"... but it's not at all like that.

This drama is beautifully scripted and has a great pace. I especially love the pace of this drama from episode 15 onwards. At the start, you might find that the drama is focused on gaming but that's the uniqueness of this drama. It's very versatile with many subthemes and as the drama progresses, so does the main theme. There is a focus on gaming, acting, aerospace engineering, space curiosity, friendship, romance (of course!), and for the first time in a long time, no unnecessary drama!

You won't find evil mean characters, backstabbing ex's, unnecessarily prolonged dramatic events, or plots that annoy your brain. Instead, you would find two very sensible, realistic, and mature characters with their own respective lives and their journey towards each other and how they fall in love. They have different friends (adding many new characters to the mix), they live different lives (but in a good way), they have their own special place in their hearts for careers (they work really hard and still maintain a healthy work-life balance), they also have really nice/sweet families who are really supportive, and just adorable scenes that would make one's heart flutter or at least make you giggle (which is a must because it's a romantic drama!).

So this is my conclusion... I seriously suggest that you watch it and give it a try. It's a really good drama that I came across after a long time. Hope my review helps!

A good drama with amazing chemistry

I watched this drama after seeing the clip clip on TikTok. I've wanted to watch Yang Yang's drama for a long time, it's just that nothing suits my taste yet.

In my opinion, the first episode is still quite general, but it is quite a 'hook' for me to continue watching the next episodes. From the start, this drama has determined that outer space will be its main focus. I feel that in this drama the topic of outer space is reviewed, not only as a sweetener for romance. At first, it was quite confusing because episodes 1-10, it was mostly filled with playing games, but in my opinion, it was quite interesting, our initial episode was given a fairly light flow. After entering dozens of episodes, this drama has just shown a plot that is starting to get serious but can still be enjoyed and doesn't make us think hard.

In my opinion, the flow of this drama is also quite neat, although in some parts it is sometimes a little slow. But for me, who is very new to the Yu Tu profession, the explanation given is quite an illustration, even though some terms are still not understandable. To be honest, I often watch Chinese dramas that tend to be light and start plots from high school. This is the second Chinese drama that I watched with a plot that didn't start in high school, and it was quite refreshing because the demeanor wasn't heavy either.

I think the most interesting thing about this drama is that the conflicts raised are common conflicts that often occur in the real world but are not discussed too often in dramas. Yu Tu becomes insecure when he is with Jing Jing. In fact, from the start, we have shown that Yu Tu is quite insecure about his job. He takes pride in his work, he also loves his job. But the demands from the environment make him feel less valuable, this is because he doesn't have enough income according to society's standards, and also doesn't have enough time. And this is also a strong reason why Yu Tu rejects Jing Jing for the second time. I think this is one of the toughest conflicts that happen in the real world, and I like the way Yu Tu is finally able to fight his insecurities without trying to bring Jing Jing down to his class.

The problems that Yu Tu and Jing Jing face are real problems that often occur in the real world, especially for couples who are both pursuing careers. Even though it seems difficult to have the same ending as this drama if it happened in real life, I think this drama can be a reference and lesson for adults in starting a relationship. As Yu Tu said, a relationship will not work if one party feels that they are always making sacrifices.

I think the relationship between the two in this drama depicts the relationship between two adults. Both Yu Tu and Jing Jing both understood each other's preoccupations. Both of them always try to support each other. They do this not because they sacrifice themselves to maintain a difficult relationship, but because they want their partner to be a better person.

I like it because the two main characters in this drama are consistent until the end of the drama but still have developments. Like Yu Tu's character who was often insecure from the start, actually, until the end, Yu Tu was also often insecure, but Yu Tu at the end was far more optimistic about the world and himself. Likewise, Jing Jing from the beginning was indeed quite a confident person, and until the end, Jing Jing was always a light for the people around her.

And there's something I like about this drama, which is when they talk about how smart people in class weren't as rich as normal people in school. This drama shows that the definition of success cannot only be measured by money. Sometimes there are achievements that not everyone can understand but you want to achieve them. Because like the title of this drama, that's your Glory. Until the end, Yu Tu's income will never be greater than Jing Jing's, but Yu Tu's pride as a spaceman will never be lost because of that.

And one more thing that is very special and I like this drama. The chemistry between Yang Yang and Dilraba is truly insane. I feel like the two of them are a couple because both of them act very naturally and well. This is both very good and 'bad'. It's very good because I enjoyed this drama from beginning to end, but it's very bad. I haven't been able to enjoy another Yang Yang and Dilraba's dramas because I still think about Yu Tu and Jing Jing.

I feel that Yu Tu is one of the most 'green flag' characters in Chinese dramas. I feel that Yu Tu has pretty good emotional control, he is also the type of person who thinks before he acts. Yu Tu was polite and always asked permission first whenever he wanted to do something. Yu Tu is a good colleague and has high empathy. When watching this drama, I want to have Yu Tu in the real world :') but I'm sure I won't be able to become Jing Jing in the real world. Jing Jing is an extraordinary woman. Jing Jing is truly a sincere and courageous person. Jing Jing is very bright both intellectually and emotionally. I think Yu Tu's world is much brighter after meeting Jing Jing. Jing Jing is light for Yu Tu. And they are both perfect for each other.

A swoony romance

You Are My Glory is the story of Yu Tu a Space Engineer who -at 30 yo- is experimenting a life crisis as he's torn between staying in his field -which despite being his dream career isn't lucrative, or going into Finance.

It's also the story of Qiao Jing Jing an A list star who has been embroiled in a scandal because she is not good at playing the video game she endorses and now has to prove her worth in an upcoming event.

Both of them were classmates in high school and meet again after 10 years through the video game and that's how the romance will unfold...

I wasn't expediting anything the first time I watched this drama as I didn't really know the actors but I was enthralled by the story which is simple but mature.

The characters don't have silly misunderstandings and the problems faced by the ML can resonate with many.
On one hand, 30 years old can be seen as being a crossroad, a point in which it might be the last chance for one to change the course of their career.
On another hand, with the ML's character, the drama highlights the struggle it can be to not be able to become a "good enough" provider because one doesn't work in a lucrative field.

Despite these messages, the drama stays simple and sweet. There is no love triangle or silly misunderstandings. The apparition of the exes could easily be blink and misses - their characters aim to show what the main leads don't want in their partners and what they are not ready to give up for a relationship.

The main leads' relationship is swoon worthy and sweet. I loved their banters and the way their mutual interest and relationship built steadily.

Dilraba and Yang Yang have great chemistry and I just loved watching them on screen.

Loved the OST. Especially Fireworks and Stars which became personal favourites of mine.

I give this drama a strong 10 because it's the second time I'm watching this drama and I still love it as much as the first time.

Peaceful watch, no heartache, no dreaminess

There isn't a major drama that goes on, the relationship build between the characters seemed quiet natural. I did like how adult their relationship was. The part about gaming and the specific about space went over my head so I skipped those parts. I don't think the viewers needed such in depth explanation on the game. The Sponsorship fee must have been very very high to be featured in so many episodes.

I watched this live and followed it every week and this was a drama I didn't think about after the episode ended. There are certain dramas where I obsessed on what's going to happen next but it didn't happen with this.

There are a few funny scene peppered in that kept me watching. Like thee AI girlfriend, the desert WiFi, meeting the parents for the first time.

I think this the the first Yang Yang drama that I tolerated. What is with him and game related dramas anyway... Somehow, the chemistry between them didn't come across to me. Yang Yang was way to stoic.

In conclusion, an okay watch. Something I won't watch again. Ask me what the characters' names are in a few weeks and I'm guessing I won't remember.

Best role of Yang Yang

I have a love/hate relationship with Yang Yang. He’s surely handsome but his acting is very stiff and repetitive. He is a good kisser though so with the right partner and script, it can make the drama spicer. That’s what happened with You’re my glory. The romance between the female and male leads is refreshing and mature. I really liked the story and the fact that the man questions himself in his 30s; should I live my dream or make more money? Should I be in a relationship or should I focus on my career? I think we all put our lives in questions the same way at some point, and it makes you reflect on your own life somewhat. i personally could relate so it made the storyline very plausible and solid for me. And on top of it the short 32 episodes made the drama easy to binge watch, which was a plus.

This one is really good & well written, it left no room for a sequel

This one is really good. It is well written. So good, there's no room for a sequel..

Albeit their unusual profession, this story is very realistic with very mundane issues. It is very refreshing. No crazy Ex's. No evil in-laws. No end of the world drama.

Main lead actors do look great on screen and can act really well. Oh and the kissing scenes were done beautifully, you can actually feel like they really like what they're doing.

ML and FL were classmates. FL likes ML and chases after him. Nothing over the top though, just the usual typical highschool crush young love variety. A decade later they've met again. They're living in two very different worlds and was working hard to achieve their dreams.

It was fun to watch their story unfold. How they managed to fall in love and adopt to each other's lives. Started as friends hanging out with each other. Then came the ML's confused feelings and insecurities, like how he's not good enough for FL. He ended up hurting her and pushing her away.

After while, their lives move on but she was still constantly on his mind. He tried to make amends and when she replied it was ok because it doesn't matter anymore, it scared him. It finally made him realize that he likes her and he's losing her. Then he pursued her until she relented.

From unrequited love, to pursuing their dreams, to falling in love. From overcoming differences and daily life challenges, to successfully being in each other's lives. It was so realistically beautiful.

This is definitely a one in a million drama

Everything here is so beautifully done: the chemistry, the story, the beautiful scenery, the moral value. Everything. It totally exceeds my already high expectations. To add it even more loveable, it also doesn't have anything that I despise the most in dramaland. It doesn't have any unnecessary love-triangle, annoying exes, or any evil in-laws. In contrast, everyone here is so supportive. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this drama is definitely one in a million drama thus making it into my most favorite drama ever.

Yang Yang & Dilraba are the most beautiful and perfect CP in dramaland that I've ever seen. I couldn't ask for more. I can say that they're a dream pair. They are not only good-looking, but also smart. They can act and deliver the chemistry between the two characters really well. Even in their first meeting, I can already feel their chemistry just only by their stares.

For those who hesitate, I suggest you to hesitate no more. First to third or fourth episode might be boring because they haven't met each other yet, but the story will get better at the fifth episode. Don't miss this one in a million drama or you'll regret it!

P.S: I've rewatched this drama for million times, but never get bored. Instead, I've noticed a lot of small details that I've overlooked previously thus making it more entertaining. Besides, who'll ever get bored seing Yang-Yang and Dilreba in one scene? #YangReba2ndCollabPlease

A good feel me good Series

I like how the Producers made this Series. Some times the flash backs are confusing and misplaced. Very enjoyable Romantic Drama.

One of the least Chinese romantic dramas where you don't have a rich Bad Boy male role. The male leads usually demean, yank, pet the head of, grab and get in the female leads face. The female leads usually are weak minded, subservient and does nothing to the male. Thank you, it was refreshing to see that.

The chemistry among the role players was great. They worked well together. At first the Yu Tu was not a likeable person. He was cold and emotionless person. Towards the middle of the Series they explain why he was like that and you begin to understand him. You can see the turmoil he was struggling with.

Qiao Jing Jing was likeable from the start. One may thing that she was shallow and mindless. If one felt that they, they would be wrong. One will find that out when she talks to her Ex. I don't how she stayed positive all the time, with everything that was thrown at her. Xiao Zhu was the unsung hero. She knew everything that was going on.

The sets where great. The Series took you all over the place. Knowingly that the cleaned up the place for the shoots. No traffic on major roads and highways (really!) 😂.

Make up folks and Producers QUIT white washing your Actors, it makes them look pale and sickly with motionless expressions.

I recommend this Romantic Drama for everyone. I will watch it again.
