I’ll start by saying that if you enjoy the original you will enjoy this one. I have now officially seen them both. I was a little hesitant to watch this one as I feel somewhat strange about the first one but I decided to give it a shot hoping that it would take a different approach however it did not. The positives; the cast did an amazing job portraying the characters who they were intended to be. Their emotions were evolved very well and it was very convincing. The supporting cast were good as well. I have nothing negative to say about the acting, the wardrobe or the quality of film however the plot itself was a bit disturbing. I felt the same about the first one. To summarize they have essentially turned a victim into a spouse.I have watched a similar series but for some reason I didn’t get the same vibes like I got with this one. This one was a little eerie. Please don’t read below if you don’t want this boiler. What we have is our female lead who went away for a while and came back to discover that her boyfriend had not only cheated on her but had also gotten married. He was very apologetic and continue to make attempts to get her back. Once the wife’s brother finds out about it he then lies to the girls parents that he defiled her and that he loved her and wanted to marry her just so he could make sure she was unavailable so his sisters husband wouldn’t go back to work. This twisted part is that the parents dumped her (her being unaware) off in the middle of nowhere with this guy and left her there. He essentially harassed her and bothered her to the point that he started to like her. As a viewers I assume that we were supposed to empathize with him and hope that they would end up well. As a female I was again, Disgusted by the fact that the writers thought it was sweet for her to fall in love with somebody that lied on her, harassed, stalked her and caused her family to look down on her for his own reasons. To make matters worse she had no idea that he was her ex boyfriends brother-in-law. Other events take place and he pretty much kidnapped her and tortures her. Long story short they love each other again and live happily ever after.
This is the most twisted crap I’ve ever seen. Not only was the male leads behaviors equivalent to that of a psycho, her parents willingness to hand her over was even more disgusting. I did not find this romantic but I did find it creepy and somewhat disturbing. I don’t care how many fields of flowers you walk in the whole plot and was sick and unromantic. I gave it a 6 for the acting.

Okay! First, I wanna say that this is my first ever review tho I've been writing my reactions on comments in other dramas. This is also my first ever lakorn I've been following every week in live broadcast eventhough im not that good in thai, its just that, this one is really good.I just accidentally found this one, and the first episode intrigued me so I decided to watch the old version (NOTE: THIS DRAMA IS A REMAKE OF 2009 WWH). Im not saying you should watch the old one to understand this but trust me watching the old version will make you compare everything and appreciate that Porshe'Tos and Bow'Now really outdone the main characters. Anyway, what Im trying to say (im being nonsense lol) is this version is really really good y'all!
I don't wanna spoil you lol but lemme just tell you more about this drama if you want to read go on. LMAO
It all started with Bow got cheated by her ex bf Pong and Tos who will do anything because he love his one and only lil sister which is Pong's wife. They end up being a husband and wife (tho didn't sign any marriage license) Because Tos wants to take Bow away from Pong so he will not dare leave Nee (Pong's wife and his sister). He and Bow's parents forced her to live in a vineyard that Tos owned. I feel bad for Bow because she was forced to live with a stranger she doesn't love at all with ulterior motive (which of course she does not know) while trying to cope up with her heartbreak. You'll get to see how Tos keeps on teasing our FL by calling her teerak/babe which I really do love. The way they bicker and some sweet scenes. And of course how they eventually end up loving each other (I think Tos already like Bow the first time he saw her) and of course how Bow will soften up to our ML.
I guess that's it? The rest you find out! Did i spoil anything?!
Casts:
*Porshe as Tos- (the old one is a naaah tho i love Wier) in this version, he is smart, sweet and playful to fl, Porshe portrayal is so satisfying, and also the way he didn't want to entertain our nang'rai's love even though he had this time that he is mad at fl, is what I really do like the most. You'll might hate him in the climax part like for 2 episodes, but I think for me he is the character that you want to hate but you just can't because he won your heart throughout the drama. And of course, this is lakorn, we always have this moment to hate pra'eks because sometimes they are stupid.
*Now as Bow - yo girl is gorgeous, choosing Now as Bow is the best thing ch7, kantana or whoever he/she did. Why? She really outdone Bow's role (again if you watched the old version you'll know the big diff of BowPinky and BowNow) Bow in this version is smart (yaaasss we got a smart couple my teerak babies),and a fighter. She can kick ass. I really do admire her. Oh! She can be cute sometimes, I think that's Now's charm.
Those two are my 'teerak' /honey/babe couple. I love the way they bicker and call each other teerak, khun samee (Bow to Tos). Even when they act sweet in front of others lol
*Film as Baithong - girl is so insane! The previous version is crazy but this one is intense, Film really did a great job portraying an obsessed, psychotic character. You'll hate her throughout the drama but she just gave justice for Baithong's insane character, her eyes, her little tears while smiling say it all.
*Tyfoon as Pong- *sigh* you can just watch it, I'll let you judge him lol
*Phong- the kid who can act.
Team Tos - Bow's fam
Team Bow- Vineyard fam lol
I will not introduce to you some other characters lol you can just find it out.
The ending is good, but for me, who really do love this drama is hoping for more. I'll highly recommend this one guys! Go watch it! And now time to end this nonsense review I don't think this is helpful at all. Im just sharing my feels lol

abuse is not romance.
In both versions of "Wong Wien Hua Jai" (2009, 2021) the female leads are verbally, mentally, and physically abused by the male lead, her family, his family and friends. So toxic, so venomous, it is torture to watch. This version even took the male lead's heroic saving of the female lead from a drugged and-attempted-rape by a stranger, and nullified it. Regurgitating it later, on a drunken evening at home in the bath. Where it is now okay for the male lead to take advantage of her inebriated state - all to avoid that 2009 sexual assault tag. Sadly, they could have avoided that in both versions, by making that first meeting not about saving, but a one night stand. Or better yet, skip the drinking entirely and go with the less toxic and more understandable 'I love you' scenario. But, they didn't. Not recommended.Was this review helpful to you?

●HOW I CAME TO ITThe synopsis and other reviews made me watch this.
●FIRST IMPRESSION
what did I just see?? How can she fall in love ?? yeah I said this exactly when the romance happened.
●PLOT VIEW
The synopsis is pretty much detailed glorifying the Stockholm syndrome.
I don’t want to judge because I already decided to watch this knowing its outline so no complaints. But throughout the drama, I didn’t feel any pain or happiness for any of the characters. I was watching them take revenge on one another felt like Everyone ML, Family, Friend, and Ex was selfish and tries to prove that they care for Bow. when Bow showed her feelings towards the captor, I felt a bit disappointed but then he was a good man loving his sister blindly. But no one has the right to ruin others' lives for the sake of one's own family.
Baitong Latched onto Tos like a virgin ghost. When she did the same thing, he is teaching her right and wrong. Baitong and Tos had similar personalities they wanted to gain the person they liked.
The FL father can be hated with utmost sincerity. Worst dad cursing her own daughter. He and the whole family just pushed BOW towards TOS pathetic lie, saying it's for her good, excuse me you all did that to save your ass and reputation. You don’t care about kid's happiness just selfish parents and sister. mother has some super ability fainting every time during an important moment. Pity bow for her family had such demeaning mentality. The family abandoned her like a dog. Bow should have stayed back abroad than to come back to hell family and psycho ex.
Vitnee was obsessive to Pong and he was obsessive to FL, both ruined their relationship until they realized that love doesn’t mean conquering its giving. Pong was guilty that he cheated but he was nuts person who didn't know right or wrong.
Chai and Kae were an adorable third couple in drama with a light dramatic relationship giving few moments of relief.
●ACTING/CAST
It was good by everyone. Those who played negative pretty much get hate due to their amazing portrayal of characters making them believable.
Tos and Bow were good, with their push and pull romance, sharing excellent chemistry. They look quite good with each other. Bow's wardrobe was gorgeous.
Baitong has evil eyes, evil laughter played her role well.
●MUSIC
I liked the closing track for its subtle music and its lyrics fit the drama well. Other Ost was average to me.
●REWATCH
Just the romance part of main leads.
●CRITICISM
How can one fall for the captor? It felt like a stupid concept but then knowing psychology we know this exists. But romanticizing this evilness was not good.
●RECOMMENDATION
It was a typical Thai drama involving revenge, obsession, and romance. If you like that then you can give this drama a try.
●AFTERTHOUGHT
Fighting with the world is easy but fighting with your family is extremely difficult
We can show love, but it cant b forced.
Good and bad happen according to own actions we have taken.

kinda spoilers
when i heard there would be a remake version of this drama (2009 one) i was very very exited to see how they would make it, but sadly i got dissapointed, yes the story they made was fun and lovely to watch, but it didn't have alot of the same vibes of the previous drama (i haven't seen the oldest one so i am only speaking of the 2009 one) yes i know remakes always have their own difference but this one had too much that it didn't feel alot as the previous remake. i did enjoy it but sadly they ruined this remake of my favorite drama.. anyway it is still worth the watch tho, oh and beware of the psycho Baitong brrrr she needs to go to the lunatic hospital.... ROLLER-COASTER
I would like to congratulate the casts for an outstanding acting for their roles, esp Baitong. She portrayed the role very well.The emotions are really on a roller-coaster but towards the end, I just felt frustrated and hurt. I did not know how they will discover what Baitong did because the only one who knows most of her doings was Nee. I also want to mention that she really looks like Yaya, another famous Thai actress and model.
Anyway, it was a good watch but I don't think it's a good re-watch drama since it became heavy towards the end.

wishing for more episodes just the ML having their own family with kids living together after all the trials they’ve been through especially the female lead yet i didn't get that ending ..
But overall is all well and good love the actors NOW - PORSHE their chemistry was lit !!! they’re my 1st lakorn LT after i watched sai lohit then i happened to know that they have ongoing series. ❤️
This lakorn is a remake of WWH 2009 while waiting for new episodes of WWH2021 i happened to watched the orig in youtube. Well to be honest I loved this remake 2021 more than the orig. They make it a light - drama. “NO RAPE scenes” opps sorry for the spoilers but yes its somewhat diff from the orig. even the characters and the flow of the story.
Its a revenge drama with a mixed of funny sweet bickering scenes between the ML and also the supporting cast are fun to watched at times annoying too haha ..
And lets not forget the main villian she indeed good in portraying her character .
Give it a try!! Maybe its not everyone’s a cup of tea but for me it is well & good. Anyways it just a fiction lakorn some scenes may and may not happen for real.
Also loved the OST the beginning (by Porshe) and ending..
P.S. I rewatched this already my 2nd time but just the happy moments of the ML haha.

Seriously, who's supposed to care about the "story" that's repeated over and over for who knows how many remakes? Viewers keep pointing out how the behavior does not connect to current times. Then other viewers reply that these dramas actually are remakes of remakes from original series that can embed dated back to the 70'. So, will they do this again in 2033? LMAO.
Obviously thai are too lazy to write new dramas, if such high percentage of "new" shows are remakes, or other-country drama adaptations. It's still easier to do a few updates in the old thingy from the seventies, than to write from scratch, right? Geez. So, everyone now has a cell phone and uses social media, else they act like 50 years ago. Great.
We can watch 30 years old Porshe Saran Sirilak...
Nao Tisanart is pretty but I doubt she'll do real kiss with him. We can also listen to new version of the same song...
All in all, you'll excuse me if I won't spend 18x 1 hour and a half.

Hey, just in case u dont have the time to watch both series, watch the original, it's better by far! The 2021 remake has got just one quality - the creepy ML, which might be fun to watch, i swear i could see him playing a great villain! In all other aspects, the 2009 version is WAY BETTER: Weir is funny, bright and versatile, the FL can put up a good fight, the characters are more rounded and more realistic, the house is more spacious and luxurious, and so is the vineyard. A lot of nice details are added to the main plot ! ❤️By comparison, the new FL cannot act, she is very stiff, and also most actors/ actresses are very plain, hard to tell who's who at a first glance. The house looks more like a log cabin, and everything else looks low budget. The lines are delivered in a dull way, though the plot - typically lakorn twisted - is not dull in itself... The remake looks more outdated than the original!

This is a very complicated, head-aching, twisted and never ending conflicts story. Any happy and joy moments will not last even a second in this story. If you want a happy and light romance drama, this is not for you.
I watch because of the drama edit as the main lead have sizzling chemistry, but the happy moments were only in the edit not more or less.

MIXED FEELING!
This is my first review for a lakorn.. I picked this lakorn based on the synopsis and reviews .I binged watched the first 9 episodes of the drama even though there seemed to be missing links throughout.
I was still intrigued by the plot/story so I plodded on. All the built up angst culminated at ep 13 !! I nearly stopped
watching the drama! Watch the lakorn and you will know what I mean.
What I liked...
The FL & ML chemistry and character portrayal was good.. albeit I hated the ML character! FL is gorgeous and can
act. I look forward to watch other dramas with this actress.
The romantic scenes were tender and nice. Kissing scenes were believable..unlike some obvious fake kissing in many lakorns!
The lyrics of the music /OST was meaningful.. choice of background music was not annoying like some lakorns.
What I disliked..
The story is rather unbelievable... no woman would continue to love a man who repeatedly chose his sister and repeatedly accused and tortured the woman he supposedly loved!
The FL family is unbelievable! and what nonsense they did was highlighted in ep 13!
The editing could have been better. Some disjoint and abrupt scenes.
Overall I still enjoyed it and can rewatch the lakorn.

Hi there thank you so much for taking time to read this... love lots^_^As for now I am currently watchin this lakorn and so far the plot was interesting. One of the main reason why i watch this is because of the main lead:
Porche Saran Sirilak and Tisanart Sornsuek (Nickname: Now).
PLOT: The script was well written (good job!)
CHARACTERS: The casting was superb I mean all of them was able to give justice to the character they were given since this is also one of the re-make drama in Thailand. I would like to give a big hands up to the main antagonist Chatdao Sittipol (Nickname: Film) . Even though many fans was very angry at her it goes to show that she really give justice to " BAITONG" character .
so far so good and I may add my final thoughts about this when I finished the entire series..
