it is an epic drama

i honestly love a good tragedy not only that the whole casts are so sweet, especially the sides couples. this drama songs are really good the singers are epic i don't want to give too many spoilers on this drama. so i will say one thing it will feel like a rollercoaster ride one minute you're happy the next minute you're down in the dump and the next we get a reunion which will make you cry and lol then the cycle repeats. the actress for this drama FL Ji Yun He (Dilraba Dilmurat) and ML Chang Yi(Ren Jia Lun) have a great chemistry. the drama is well written the director and scriptwriter know when and where to throw an emotional bomb on the viewers. man, honestly I want more tragedies like these in drama. this drama has multiple tragedies and I'm not just talking about FL and ML only the sides couples have tragedies so be prepared with a box of tissue cause some people gonna cry a lot when watching this and some will enjoy it. this was a bitter-sweet drama and i thoroughly enjoyed it all the way to the end. i also cannot stress enough that the songs in this drama are beatuiful

"Blue Whisper: An Enchanting Journey of Love, Sacrifice, and Self-Discovery

"Blue Whisper" is a captivating Chinese drama that takes viewers on an enchanting journey filled with love, sacrifice, and self-discovery. Set in the mystical Flower Valley, the series introduces us to Ji Yun He, a powerful and talented spiritual master who yearns to explore the world beyond the valley's boundaries. However, a dark secret holds her back, adding an intriguing layer of mystery to her character.

The plot takes an unexpected turn when Changyi, a merman, enters the Valley under the control of the cruel Princess Shunde. Princess Shunde tasks Yun He with the challenging mission of making the merman speak human words, severing his tail, and handing over his precious pearl while ensuring his unwavering loyalty. To accomplish this task, Yun He must reluctantly seek the assistance of Lin Hao Qing, her adopted brother and sworn enemy.

As the story unfolds, Yun He finds herself growing closer to Changyi, leading her to question her loyalty and the choices she must make. The conflicting emotions and moral dilemmas Yun He faces form the heart of the narrative, making the viewer emotionally invested in her journey. The series skillfully explores themes of freedom, sacrifice, and the pursuit of one's true desires.

The character development in "Blue Whisper" is commendable, with Ji Yun He portrayed as a complex and multi-dimensional protagonist. Her internal struggle between duty and personal fulfillment is portrayed with depth and nuance, making her relatable and compelling. Changyi, the merman, adds an element of mystery and charm to the story, serving as a catalyst for Yun He's transformation.

The cinematography and visual effects in "Blue Whisper" are stunning. The scenic landscapes of Flower Valley are beautifully captured, creating a magical atmosphere that draws the audience into the fantastical world of the drama. The underwater sequences featuring Changyi's merman form are particularly impressive, showcasing the production team's attention to detail.

The chemistry between the actors, especially the lead characters Ji Yun He and Changyi, is palpable, adding an extra layer of romance and intrigue to the narrative. The supporting cast delivers strong performances, bringing depth and complexity to their respective roles.

While "Blue Whisper" delivers a captivating storyline and engaging characters, there are moments when the pacing feels slightly uneven. Some plot points may feel rushed or underdeveloped, leaving the audience craving more exploration and depth in certain aspects of the story. However, the overall impact and emotional resonance of the drama outweigh these minor flaws.

In conclusion, "Blue Whisper" is a mesmerizing Chinese drama that successfully combines elements of fantasy, romance, and introspection. With its compelling storyline, complex characters, and breathtaking visuals, it keeps viewers eagerly anticipating each episode. If you're a fan of enchanting tales that delve into the depths of human emotions and the pursuit of personal freedom, "Blue Whisper" is definitely a drama worth watching.

One of the best Cdrama in 2022

I really love this drama. It was worth waiting for english subs. Storyline is nice, the music is good and the casts are really good. I will for sure rewatch this drama. I am usually not a big fan of this type of drama. Since it’s my two favorite actors are in this drama so I gave it a try and after first episode I couldn’t stop watching until the end. I would say, I fell in love with this drama. Congratulations to all the casts they did a wonderful job. The lead stars Allen Ren and Dilraba Dilmurat acting is amazing and portrayed their characters really well. I highly recommend this drama.

Not perfect but the MC love story got me hooked

Am not a fan of Dilraba and often avoid her dramas and I have never seen any dramas of Ren Jialun before this. But there is this one scene that took my interest and got me watch this drama (The scene where Yunhe had to bathe Changyi)

Story: The story is not perfect.. there are too many boring scenes that I actually skipped. I Even skipped the first episode because I do not know what that purpose is. However the two leads were so adorable so I mainly watched their scenes - I kept rewatching their scenes again and again.
I read the novel after finishing the drama and I really wish they kept some parts of the novel.
I wish they didn't change the reunion from the novel - Their reunion in the novel was so beautiful unlike in the drama where Changyi was acting as if nothing ever changed (Hey, I am sorry forgive me please stay) there was no show of remorse or regret that Changyi in the novel had, there was no character development which Changyi had early on (when he decided to destory Yun He's body in order to save the north)

The novel showed us the love Changyi has and the trauma that Yunhe's betrayal has given him. In the drama it just made Changyi look so narrow minded.

No amount of crying and cheesy sad lines from the ML and FL - made me sad. Unlike in the novel where I really cried a bucket.

They added so many extra parts - so unnecessary.
I hate that they made Lu Haoqing the second ML - forever longing for Yunhe.

Casting: The casts did great job, especially the two leads - if they casted someone else as Changyi and Yunhe I doubt I will be able to finish this series.
The chemistry at the start of the series was good. You can see that they do get along. The friendship between Changyi and Yunhe.
However in the later part of the drama, it almost made me wonder if the two leads had some issues with each other or the shooting because they suddenly felt so distant, even the ML look so tired and no longer trying to show any acting that he actuality showed in the first half of the series.
FL was steadfast, he acting isn't topnotch but it's passable.

I think I must praise the director but had to say I'm disappointed with the writers.

Anyway BW is not perfect drama. It is a drama that made me skip a lot of parts and just go straight to the MC scenes. It's a drama that will not work if not for the two leads. Since I was able to rewatch those scenes for countless of times. I will give it an 8

I honestly started the show with not many expectations. I am a big fan of Dilraba and never heard of Ren Jialun before, so I was not sure of what to think. However, after just watched the first episode I got hooked - the cinematography, colors, acting, soundtrack and plot are a 10/10. It became my absolute favorite chinese drama in only a few episodes LMAO.

I never have written a review before, but I'm very surprised the rating for the drama is not higher than an 8.3 (for now). In my opinion it at least deserves a 8.7 or higher. The chemistry between the leads is AMAZING, and it will have you gripping for more! I am a huge fan of chinese historical dramas, and after watched "Ashes of Love" / "The Untamed" / "Love Like the Galaxy" i did not think i would find any dramas as good as them, however this one exceeded EVERY SINGLE one of my expectations. i 100% recommend it. you wont regret it at all!

Xiao ShunYao!!!!!

XSY was absolutely amazing!!! In TBW, sorry to say to my baby Allen Ren, but XSY really stolen the show. His Chemistry with Reba was amazing , The way he showcase his ACTING Skills ? in TBW was above and beyond, he was a super complicated and multifaceted character, excellently displayed a range of emotions, and nailed every scene. I WILL be looking out for every drama he stars in.

QUEEN DILRABA!!!!!!!

Amazing also a complicated character, sometimes I Loved her and other times I was angry with her for lying deceiving and taking advantage of our ML. So many complicated and wonderfully charismatic characters I will never forget. The whole cast was phenomenal and had major on screen chemistry.

The untold truth:Best Xianxia of 2022

As it stands blue whisper is the standard of Xianxia dramas.
visually appeasing, excellent acting, Non cliche xianxia tales, Something unique, Amazing and aesthetic ost which topped to it's cinematography..

What more do I have to say? Plot! go check it out already! it's a masterpiece

One thing I love about this drama is the plot which basically has one staring at the screen all day long like. Omg that plot was Just what Xianxia needs to escape it's same old plot (Eg, Immortal samsara was a terrible attempt and had all those cliche)

The visuals are amazing. The acting good. The Story not so much.

Even though thought the two leads are visually stunning and good actors, together they don't seem to work at all. There's such a lack of chemistry.

The story also fails them. The FL approaches the ML with a ulterior motive, dupes him for a while but falls in love with him instead. Ultimately, to protect him, the FL lies to ML and kicks him off a cliff with a stab in his chest, expecting him to live. The ML finally believes her lies and we can't really blame him for it. He comes to hate her for it and in the end, just as she leaves one prison, she is captured by him and imprisoned again. The FL just keeps exchanging one prison for another.

That's a concise version of the entire story. Despite its amazing visuals & stellar cast and characters, It is so damn boring, I couldn't have finished part 1 without the fast forwarding. But for some reason, I'm glad that I watched it.

Excellent drama seen in recent times

Firstly, the female lead,Ji yunhe, has a very strong personality and she is a very individual, daring and confident woman.Thats what I liked much abou this drama.
The storyline was good.No unnecessary plots and scenes are there.the costumes,CGI,music were good. All the actors acted very well.
Ren jialun as Chang Yi is very good.
Dilreba as Ji yunhe was excellent.
Cristy Guo as Fairy Shunde could be as disgusting as she is.
And all the others characters and actors portrayed excellentlly!
The flow and pace were good.Emotions were well crafted and also portrayed.
Season 1 ended with Chang Yi saving Ji yunhe.
Already watched season 2 also.
Overall I can say,Ji yunhe is a very inspiring woman.I really liked her.??

I love it! I love it! I wanna cry now that it finished!

I haven’t been a fan of Dilraba so far, I am not sure why I skipped all her dramas.
But I absolutely loved her acting and the chemistry with Ren.
The music is so beautiful, I had it on repeat and I didn’t skip the intro and otro.
I think that the dynamic of the drama was well constructed, all the actors played really well and the script spared us from unnecessary drama.

I have watched both, part 1 and 2, so I am going to leave the review for both. I actually also learned a lot from it such: sometimes its just better to be open and honest with your partner as well as giving the freedom to be themselves.

I definitely recommend watching this drama, it had everything and the romantic scenes are oh la la! ❤️

Visualmente lindo e bem produzido.

visualmente lindo e bem produzido.

High aesthetic value - favorite FL

This drama has some of the prettiest background designs I've ever seen. The blend of CGI and stage design is so smooth I have a hard time knowing what's real and what's not. The world is thought out and immersive. I also like the costume design for all the animal spirit characters.

The female lead is self-assured and competent, if not manipulative. This characterization works very well for the story; she is easily my favorite character. The only con is that she overshadows the male lead, who is there to be pretty but gains some action relevance later in the season.

Check this out if you want to watch a series with profound lore, well-written female characters, and gorgeous aesthetics.
