If you’re looking for the best chemistry between the actors. Then here it is. Bad buddy series will give you the best experience for bl series. They are good kisser too. The plot of the story is really really good. Everything is perfect. This series is definitely deserve an award . And i hope i can see ohm and nanon play in the next bl series again . Maybe they can remake “ dakaretai otoko” or maybe some psychology thriller genre with a happy ending. Hahaha I’m so sorry because their acting is really is d*mn good . I have no word left. I just want to keep praising them. My wish is i hope i can see them play bl series/movies again, and I’m pretty sure they will play it well too. They will nailed it

REWATCH WORTHY!!

Where do I start? Okay, let’s start with the casting. Ohm especially is one of my favorite BL actors for his genuine personality and the chemistry between the two main leads is astonishing! They’re so personable, sweet and the slow burn but chase for each other is heart warming. The rooftop kiss tho….
This is a must watch!

The story line did not drag much and the “back and forth” was not annoying or overly played. It was tastefully done and you’re rooting for them through the entire time!

A Must Watch BL

I have just finished this BL for the 2nd time & it was worth revisiting. Second time around I really appreciated how both male leads were able to emote so perfectly. It seemed like the whole series came at the perfect moment, perfect cast, perfect story & director knew what was up. It displayed so well how young adults react to situations, I hope some young person sees this & it helps them. I love the way the couple's romance grew slowly & realistically overtime. I also give props to the story writer & developer because they kept it real. Not all persons are accepting and it is not very true to depict life any other way.
What I despise about BL's in general - they ship the actors as couples in real life WHY they are actors it is acting. That maybe a reason why these good actors have issues with one another after the success of their series. When your job is done go home to your RL instead of making them pretend fiction is RL. just to please some disillusioned fan & to drain every dime you can from the fans through lying. I feel this series will stand the test of time & I think that Ohm & Nanon did some of the best acting I have seen in a BL. Loved it

Give it a try! One of best enemy to lover trope!

[Just watch it guys! Some will like it, some will dislike but give it a go!! ] ?

First of all, Bad buddy has an interesting storyline but what makes it amazing was their cast acting. Nanon & Ohm are great actors that able to convey the feels through their eyes, action & its not awkward at all. Perfect chemistry ✨

Next, about the story, their relationship begin as rivals because of their parent but deep inside Pran & Pat actually has something else going on, although Pat realise a bit late. Pat is really an interesting as a person who is understanding, straight forward & not afraid to speak up. Pran on the other hand has hesitation in terms of building those kind of r/shp & parent's acceptance.

Also, what I love about the show is no necessary third wheel person or the need for ex or something to interrupt their r/shp etc. Its just some misunderstanding but cleared quickly. The boys do bickering all the time but still love each other. I do find its a bit cringe about the fight among architecture & engineering students. Its important for the plot, so I dont mind.

*Spoilers*

The conflict was just a hurdle when the parent & society found out about them. Pat even suggested them to pretend break up but Im glad they didnt for real. Almost cried for real.

So, overall I give 9.5/10 and its one of my top 10 bl series! ?

The Most Genuinely Honest Love Story Between Two Boys

I'll keep this short and sweet.

I rated this show 10/10 because the acting and the chemistry between the two MCs was out of this world.

I am the type of person who's aware when actors are acting on screen and it often throws me out of the story. But with Pat and Prat, I was so immersed in their story that I believed they are real and actually love each other.

The acting and the humour were incredible.

The story is very well-written. I saw the intelligence in the script and the plot.

We also got a GL side story!

Overall, Bad Buddy had incredible pacing, a great script, and an amazingly believable love story between two talented actors that delivered it perfectly.

Rewatchable!!

It's just worth everything

This is litterally the only series I am actually rewatching and even still feeling deeply into it. Just for every single detail that i like to notice again, the music that litteraly makes my heart beat faster, everything. It's just a series that you can't miss if you like romance and drama, not just bl, it is pretty educative and endearing for anyone out there wanting to see some true love. When iI watch Bad Buddy, i know what true love feels like again.
I just would recommend this to anyone, just give it a try, it's worth it. :)

If it wasn't for the Episode 6 & 7 this show would have been 10/10 for me.

Just skip episodes 6 & 7 if you want a perfect show.

SPOILERS FROM EPISODE 5, 6 & 7 BELOW

Their emotions are raw and palpable in Episode 5, with Pat expressing his jealousy and frustration at seeing Pran perform their shared song with someone else. Meanwhile, Pran is grappling with his own feelings for Pat, feeling hurt and confused by Pat's ambiguous actions and the false hope they may have given him.

The expression of their feelings for each other is filled with a mix of pain, vulnerability, and an overwhelming desire to be more than just competitors or enemies. It's a heart-wrenching moment where they lay bare their emotions, and the weight of their unspoken affections becomes too much to bear.

The passionate and emotional kiss that follows is a powerful culmination of their shared history and the longing they've both been harbouring. It's a moment of catharsis and release, as they finally confront the truth of their feelings for each other.

In Episode 6, when Pran withdrew himself it was understandable. He realised it was no longer an unrequited feeling, but a mutual feeling with the possibility of the relationship, he had to consider the consequences of their relationship amidst the feuding families. Episode 6 wasn't bad until the very end, where they start the ridiculous game of "whoever confesses first loses."

After witnessing their raw and vulnerable expression of feelings in Episode 5, the focus on a competition to see who will confess first might feel like a step backwards in the development of their relationship. The end of Episode 5, where both Pat and Pran open up about their emotions and share a passionate kiss, was pivotal in personal growth and relationship progression. They bring a sense of closure and authenticity to their connection, allowing them and us to understand the depth of their feelings for each other.

Following such a powerful scene, it's natural to hope that the narrative would continue to explore their relationship in a more meaningful and emotionally resonant way, rather than falling back on a repetitive and less compelling plot device. While "who will confess first" dynamics can create tension and anticipation in certain contexts, using it immediately after such an emotional breakthrough might feel forced and detract from the impact of their expression.

This is one of the best dramas I’ve watched

So at first I thought Bad Buddy would be your typical BL drama but boy was I wrong. First of all I want to talk about what a phenomenal actor Ohm and Nanon are they portrayed Pat and Pran so well. I felt every emotion they were feeling, I loved that pran had already liked pat so it made the story more interesting adding to the fact that they were considered enemies. In episode 5 we see pat and Pran kiss but what I loved about the kiss was how well it expressed what the both of them were feeling for each other. I also loved the continuation to episode 6 when pran started avoiding pat because he was scared of what the consequences would be if they started dating, their friends and families hate each other so how could they? but I’m excited to see where the story leads too. As of right now this has become one of my top 3 fav BL and that’s saying alot since I’ve watched so many ??❤️

So Conflicted - Honest Opinion

After watching this show I realized that the only thing that really sold this show was the chemistry between Pat and Pran, thanks to Ohm and Nanon. If they would have put two other random actors, instead of Ohm and Nanon, in this show everyone probably wouldn't be as enthusiastic about the show as they are now. Take away the chemistry between the leads and you have a basic, uninteresting, bland storyline that we've seen over and over again. There was nothing special about the writing, direction, or cinematography in this series. With that being said, I still enjoyed watching it because I loved seeing the relationship between Pat and Pran. Its just that when you take a step back and look at all the aspects of this show, it isn't a masterpiece by any means.

Romeo and Romeo, Almost

Bad Buddy should have been a great enemies to lovers story, but it fell way too short of its potential, turning into a predictable college romance that does not stand out much from other college BLs. What went wrong?

When I complained that this series was a cliché, another user pointed out that this is expected because the story is based on Romeo and Juliet. I disagree. Romeo and Juliet has been called the greatest love story of all time for a reason. Although we know how it goes, we still root for the fated lovers. Their romance does not get old. Every generation reads it and creates its own adaptations of it – and what can be more fitting for our time than a queer adaptation of the timeless classic?
This is why I believe that not the story itself, bu the way in which it was presented spoiled this series.

Two families whose houses are next to each other have been feuding for years. Their sons, Pat and Pran, build a forbidden friendship that eventually blossoms into something more. Their friend groups also have beef with each other, though, and this complicates things for the two boys.
This premise is great comedy material. I do not understand why it was so underutilized. We got only snippets of the two families fighting, although such fights could have created many hilarious moments in the first half of the series. But no, the production team went back to the campus cliché, forgetting that an essential part of Romeo and Juliet is the pointless, long rivalry between two households.
Pat and Pran, and their friends also did not bicker nearly as much as they should have. The transition from enemies to lovers happened too quickly.
As if this was not enough, the mood of the series was spoiled by product placements that looked annoyingly out of place in the scenes.

I would have dropped this series earlier if not for Ohm and Nanon's acting. Although I consider their pairing to be more of a bromance than a romance, they were a delight to watch.
However, Jimmy, whose character is important to the story, was one of the main reasons why I did not get past episode seven. To say that his performance was unconvincing would be generous. The production team should have chosen a more experienced actor – casting a newbie alongside veterans is not a great idea.

Overall, this series did not manage to keep me interested in Pat and Pran's story. If you have decided to watch it, my advice is not to expect much. This is a forgettable story.

Butterflies!

This is one of the best BLs I have watched. It's your classic Romeo and Juliet but with a twist. The references to Romeo and Juliet are subtle enough that it's not to cliche or boring as the R&J trope can be over done sometimes. This relationship is pure butterfly inducing fluff. There's a lot of angst in the beginning but it builds anticipation for the fluff to come so there are no complaints from me. Incredible cast! So many great actors and familiar faces. Definitely worth your time. Go watch it!!
