Been overdone now, but I carried on. While reading this review of Bad Buddy 2021, keep in mind that I started watching this movie expecting it to have a lot of NC scenes (No Children scenes).
Bad Buddy was a generally great series, the actors did a good job in bringing the characters to life. It has the power to make you burst into laughter, shed a few tears, and even feel like dancing around the room.
Firstly, the acting is truly commendable, with the cast delivering impressive performances. What sets it apart is how genuine the reactions and physical interactions feel; there's a naturalness to their chemistry that never comes across as awkward or forced. The relationship depicted in the series steers clear of toxic dynamics. Instead, it keeps you engaged and wanting more.
Pat brought sugar and fun to Pran's uptight character. Pat was the comedian of the duo. And I think they had one of the most beautiful kiss scenes I've seen in a Bl series(Pat and Pran's first kiss)
If you're like me who starts certain BL series with NC expectations, perish that thought because, on a scale of 5, this series is at 0.5 with the steamy content but is 4 out of 5 stars in general. This is a 4 because while it's an overall great performance, I refused to see the hype behind this Bl series and in my books, I've watched better like Kinnporshe, and even The Eclipse.
Maybe my opinion is biased because these series that I consider better than Bad Buddy are more recent and the industry has progressed.
Also, I still found bits of this series cringe, and the plot is not very new. It is still another university BL drama but was just executed better.

MAJESTIC. JUST MAJESTIC
One of those cliché stories where your initial expectation was it'll be bad. But because it was well-written, directed, acted and produced, you just see yourself, engrossed and smiling every segment of each episode. Never a dull moment. From the OST, Cinematography, Acting, etc. Everything...just beautiful. Amplified by the superb acting and chemistry of Ohm and Nanon, I’m just in love with this series. It keeps getting better each episode. Probably the only BL series I haven't had a complaint thus far. Brilliant<3 <3 <3 And I cant wait to get crushed and cry my heart out by ep 8-11 and be revived by it’s majestic ending. I’m sure Backaof won’t disappoint. Great acting, Typical Storyline
The 2 actors acting are great! What adds to it is they fantastic chemistry. Other than EarthMix, they are the one that I felt with really good on-screen interaction in a series. What's lacking is the story line. To be honest, we dont have to finish the series to know what is going to happen the next few episodes. The story is probably going to be like the other BL drams that we have watched - i would say something along the lines of Kiss Me Again. However, i think it's already performing better than Tonhon Chonlatee and Fish Upon The Sky though :)But will i be watching though? Yes. I think it still serves as a good entertainment value with high rewatch value - easy to watch and have fun on a friday night.

Wow !!!What A Chemistry ?
This series is so enjoyable to watch because of the two main leads ( Ohm & Nanon ) . Simple story line but never get bored.All the supporting casts are doing a great jobs as well. Director knows how to sell his stories to audiences.
I love the acting , directing , script, OST …. Everything so far so good.
Overall, one of the best series of 2021.

From Just Friends to Cannot Be Just Friends
Superb acting from Ohm and Nanon! Especially with Nanon and his little nuances, both deliver outstanding expression with just through their eyes, it will get you immersed in their enemies to lovers relationship.The direction is flawless with the comedic moments executed not over the top and the romantic scenes leaving you in awe and amazement.
I love the part where they introduce conflict in the form of family and friends. The problem with friends is that they can never catch a break with the college rivalry having to be battle it out in almost anything. The family conflict goes deep-rooted though and them being actual neighbors does not help the relationship at all! They have history and the way the series establishes it is not some form of a random placement but rather creating a narrative that the audience can easily follow through as the series progresses.
I cannot wait till the romance arc, of which I am confident Ohm and Nanon can pull through! Simply the Best BL series of 2021!

Love this BL
This BL drama made me fall in love with this genre. It is disappointing that OhmNanon will not be making more of this kind of show. Their chemistry was truly phemenonal. It balances the humor, melodramatic elements, and romance in a way few other BL dramas have been able to do. I have seen several dozen BLs since this one. I wish I weren't spoiled with how superb this show was because it shaped my expectations for other BL dramas/rom-coms.Was this review helpful to you?

I absolutely love this BL…like there is nothing bad to say about it. Even though the plot is simple, it had a twist on it to make it more appealing and interesting. I love the main couple since this relationship has so much character and chemistry so it makes it more enjoyable. Especially when it was airing, after every episode I felt like I always wanted more and couldn’t wait until the next episode. I also love that it has a GL element to the story, since at the time, GMMTV never really had that element before. The ending was really interesting and went beyond what I could’ve expected or imagined. It was really good and definitely one of my favs from GMMTV. I wish we could see more of OhmNanon since this is their one and only BL series together. They had so much chemistry and potential but I respect them and any decisions they made.Was this review helpful to you?

This series is perfect. I can watch bad buddy all day. I love ohm and also nanon they are perfect for this series. Nanon is a perfect singer. I suggest this series to anyone who want to see a good series of enemies to lovers. I m sorry if my English is bad but I m not English so this is the best i can do. About the series I would say that is perfect and everyone should watch it, I'm sad that ohm and nanon don't talk any more but I m waiting for their series, the bl of ohm and the straight series of nanon.Was this review helpful to you?

when i first watched this series, i loved it so much! it had everything, from angst to cute ass moments and it just got better every week a new episode came out! like, this series was my escape at tthe time from things and it made me so happy everytime i watched it! and i would totally recommend it to people that want to get into BL series, like this series its a good way to start to get into BL series! 10/10 would recommend!Was this review helpful to you?

ALL THE BL FEELS NONE OF THE TOXICITY
Do yourself a favour and watch this series. Why?1) the acting and chemistry of the leads is not just the one of the best I've seen in any BL romance but ANY Romance I've seen. Their interplay and dialogues are so natural it doesnt feel contrived at all!
2) it subverts all thr cliches of thai bls. Minus being yet another engineering/architecture college series none of what happens feels tired or steroetypical.
3) the script is just beautifully done. We seemlessly go from a heartfelt emotional moment to a funny one tk a serious one to romantic one with ease. It doesnt feel stitled or forced at any point.
4) there's a strong sense of agency in all the characters they all feel fleshed out
5) the communication and genuine affection we see between the characters and their friends. It's sometimes takes a bit to get there but the MLs truly want to be together and want the best for each other as do their friends.
6) THE ACTING AND CHEMISTRY OF THE LEAD AGAIN BECAUSE IT IS JUST THAT GOOD.
I was smiling throughout watching this Pat and Pran feel like people i know and will stay with me a long time.

You definitely must watch it! Amazing storyline, acting, and combination of humor and love.
This series is a masterpiece :D. I like boyish humor so much. I returned back to the college to the period when I was with my friends-guys every day :D. There are plenty of funny scenes. I had a lot of fun with all the arguments, conflicts, rivalries, and provocations. The boys were a great group and the main couple was perfect. Pran (Nanon), the type who has to have everything arranged, stored, and orderly, goes everywhere on time. He is more serious, more introverted, responsible, hard-working, and a bit reserved, but easily provoked by Pat (Ohm) who is a bit of a brothel, more extroverted, has a lot of fun, talks a lot, laughs, likes to provoke and dig. They contrast nicely but sparks fly between them like on New Year's Eve. An excellent romantic line but not too sweet. It wasn't sweet talk like between a man and a woman, there was a touch of boyish humor here as well. It made it all the more real to me. They gradually built healthy relationships between two equal partners. The serious scenes were heart-wrenching (arguing parents who beat each other and their children, really?..what if they got along normally...would they end up just as friends? or would there be something more to it anyway?). And the already mentioned scene on the roof was breathtaking again. You have to watch it more than once. It's an emotional charge from both actors. The viewer will say that finally! and immediately he feels so heavy and sorry. Great contrast of emotions of both characters/actors. They waited several hours to shoot this scene because it was raining. They filmed it sometimes at 4 o'clock in the morning, which also affected their emotions. It's one of the top scenes from all the series I've seen so far. And to top it off, amazing music. oh, wow, wow. And one more tidbit. In the scene where Pran plays the guitar and sings for Pat at night on the beach, they couldn't see each other because there was a wall between them that they had to put up for lighting. Pat can only hear Pran. They both act out this scene based on their ideas of the other. -----------------Â Â Edit: Seen again. Beautiful, wonderful. And the soundtrack is great. Director, actors, scenes, camera, editing, costumes. Everything excellent. A joy to watch. But I have to take a break so I don't get fed up with it :D. But I can't give up singing Nanon. One word- A masterpiece
Firstly, this drama lives in my heart, mostly because the story, the direction, and execution is flawless. More so, I had watched it in my dark times, waiting each week for this one was like a silver lining for me. Also, I have read the book.There is lot I can say about this one, and endlessly so. But, let's point out some:
1. Star cast- P'Ohm and P'Nanon literally lived the characters. The fact they were real-life friends, and the fact that they amazing actors shows in each minute of the series- especially since this is the first BL of P'Nanon. The side characters, they will put you in dilemma of who to love more.
2. The story- This is topmost series for me, where other adaptions can be compares to the book, maybe equally or less amazing. But this one, noting that it is very loosely based on the book, it is something that takes the book to another top level. Both the book and series are incomparable and priceless.
3. The direction- What do I say? The way scenes are written, the way they are portrayed, is seen in the delivery of the actors. Also, each episode ends on a mind-blowing cliffhanger. Like what!
4. The music- Beautiful songs that literally mean Pat and Pran's story, songs that are forever in all my playlists- Just friends, Our song, Same page. Another thing I noted, every emotional scene has a light, calm music, similar to the music you listen for good sleep, recorded at specific Hz.
5. Unforgettable scenes- I have seen many series, but there are some that you kind of link with. You just know how to read between the lines. I guess this series is that for me. There are many legendary scenes in this drama, and I can watch them on repeat for my life- All rooftop scenes (especially the kiss), the confession at the college, their playful push and pull game, their flirting. Most of all, the series slaps 2 BL tropes right in its face.
Also, Pat, my baby boy. I love 3 scenes where I can see the love Pran has for him-right in his eyes, like "What do I do of this fool?" First, the rooftop kiss, then college bench scene, and then the scene where they speak in red uniform.
6. Pat and Pran- The characters are beautiful. But not among those where you go, "This happens only in dramas". Though the background of the story might be little unrealistic, but these 2 characters are greenest flags. For me, the epitome of ideal relationship. The fact that the characters understand each other, acknowledge, accept, respect each other is the backbone of their relationship- A clear message for life.
7. The end- The message that they gave in the laat episodes, and the way the main couple lives up to it, is something that always makes me think- "this is how you make it work". Though many may not agree to what they do, but they chose to do it, without any regrets at any point. Maybe, even they might have had quarrels, but again point 5 above speaks a lot for this. I remember what Pran says to Pat in last of episode 8.
This one is my go to drama-always.
