this is my comfort BL drama for sure.... whenever I feel like I am in a bad mood or I feel exhausted with my life I watch this bI to see their friendship the love the cuteness the forbidden trope and bl gl trope, the one sided love the enemies to lovers........I love the actors nanon and ohm .....
they are great
I especially loved iat when pat realises that he is in love with pran ....
the moment of realisation in his eyes is beautiful
their first kiss was one of the best kisses in BL history
the kiss was kind of letting go of what the parents what their relationship to be like and accepting what their heart wants.....
the scene in which pat loudly confuses to pran is sooooo beautiful
there are a lot of people who don't think that this is the best BL ever but I am not a very critical person while watching a bl and may be that's why I loved this drama and I always watch this
and every time I watch this BL I love it even more
the actors did a good job in portraying there roles and I am very happy that I could watch this drama anytime I want
if you think this drama is bad I don't know what to say to you but I loved it
I am not looking into this drama in a critical way but I am just looking it to it how my heart wants to look at it I love this drama and will always recommend anyone to watch it
the actors had great chemistry and they were very cute too
I know that the actors don't have a friendship as of now but I am happy that patpran will always have a great relationship in my mind........
and I really really loved our Sky 2 bad buddy
even though I did feel like in our Sky 2 the characters seem to be a little distant and their chemistry had gone little low
I think this is one of the best bl's made and I will always come back to this for ever

my first ever gmmtv bl, I wasn’t expecting much since I thought it’s just a regular rivalry Highschool drama but NO, I’m wrong. The fact that they were born to go against eo, born to compete, born to hate eo without even knowing they fell for each other and had to keep it all a secret. I love how the story is so realistic. the chemistry is way too good, I swear I cried because I didn’t want it to end, I love them patpran. I swear after that I went to watch every interview they had. the osts are so good specially ‘just friends’ and ‘our song’ it really apply towards the actual plot and I love it. 10/10 I RECOMMEND IT SOO BADDD!!Was this review helpful to you?
A Simple Story Made Unforgettable
I started Bad Buddy because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews and the way people kept describing it as one of the best BL series ever made. The story itself is not completely new: two boys from rival families grow up believing they are supposed to hate each other, only to eventually fall in love. What makes the series special is not the originality of the plot, but the way it is written, directed, and performed.Ohm and Nanon gave two of the strongest performances I have seen in a BL. Their chemistry feels natural, but what impressed me most was the emotional depth they gave Pat and Pran. Ohm made Pat warm, funny, confident, and vulnerable, while Nanon expressed so much through Pran’s eyes, silence, and body language. Pran is a character who hides most of what he feels, yet Nanon always makes those emotions visible.
The rooftop scene is, for me, one of the greatest romantic scenes in BL history. Its power does not come from the kiss being sexual or visually bold. It comes from everything the kiss represents.
Pran has spent years suppressing his feelings, carrying his family’s expectations, and believing that a relationship with Pat could never truly work. When they finally kiss, he is not simply happy. He is relieved, terrified, overwhelmed, and heartbroken at the same time. He finally gives in to his feelings while already knowing how difficult their relationship will be because of their families.
Watching him kiss Pat while crying made the scene feel like a confession, a surrender, an emotional breakdown, and a victory all at once. Years of pressure, rivalry, fear, and hidden love were present in that moment. That is why I consider it the best kiss in BL history. Many series can create a more explicit or passionate kiss, but very few can create one with this much emotional weight. Every time I watch the scene again, I still feel the same impact.
I also appreciate how the series avoids or challenges many tired BL tropes. There is no “I am straight, but I only like you” excuse, and the relationship is not forced into traditional husband-and-wife roles. Pat and Pran feel like equal partners. Their relationship is built on friendship, communication, mutual support, and a deep understanding of each other.
The ending is also happy in my opinion. Pat and Pran remain together and continue living their lives without allowing their parents to control their relationship. I actually appreciate that the parents do not suddenly become completely different people. That would have felt unrealistic. Not every parent changes completely, apologises, or becomes openly supportive. Sometimes they only soften, stop interfering, or quietly accept what they cannot change.
The real victory is not that Pat and Pran fix their parents. The victory is that they no longer need their parents’ approval in order to love each other. They choose their own happiness and stay together despite the conflict around them.
The series is not perfect. The conflict between the faculties sometimes feels exaggerated, Wai’s decision to expose their relationship is resolved too quickly, and the family feud can occasionally feel more dramatic than necessary. However, none of these flaws take away from the emotional power of the main relationship.
Bad Buddy proves that a simple story can become exceptional when it is written, directed, and performed with care. It is funny, romantic, emotional, and deeply comforting without becoming shallow. More importantly, it gave me scenes and emotions that stayed with me long after I finished watching.
Overall, I would give Bad Buddy a 9.5/10. It is not perfect, but it is one of the most emotionally effective and well-acted BL series I have watched, and it absolutely deserves its reputation.

My most re-watched show
The mains do a fantastic job, their chemistry is off the charts, and the story is great. Personally I wasn't a fan of how the show ended but it doesn't effect my overall rating of the show. The heartfelt moment after they realize their feelings for each other was beautiful. They should have won all the awards right there. The supporting cast was really good too. I loved seeing good supportive friendships rather than people just there with the label "friend" and not really contributing anything other than comic relief. If I actually cared about being one of those BL couple fanatics, this show would have made me their fan.Was this review helpful to you?
the characters have crazy chemistry
it was a great show, totally recommend it! Both acting of the main characters is very good!! The storyline itself is cute and funny. I love how they overcome their selves in order to love each other. it’s very sweet. I wish for everyone to find a live like theirs!!! it’s such an awesome show, they got me writing a review and I never do that. Why Bad Buddy Still Shines
As a longtime fan of classic BL series like SOTUS and works starring OffGun, it takes a lot for a new couple to truly win me over. Finding genuine compatibility and top-tier chemistry is rare, which is why I went into Bad Buddy Series (2021) with hesitation—and ended up liking it far more than I ever thought I would.Even knowing the real-world actors (Ohm and Nanon) may not star together again, their on-screen chemistry is undeniably top-notch. From the very beginning, I loved how the series contrasts the contrasting lives and personalities of Pran and Pat.
While I initially found their respective friend groups a bit "too much" with all their chaos, it ultimately grew on me and became part of the show's charm—I ended up loving the craziness of their friends and how naturally their romance eventually blossomed out of all that rivalry.
Beyond the romance, the commentary on family dynamics hit hard. While generational feuds like this might belong to an older era, the show brilliantly highlights how ridiculous it is when parents try to pass down their conflicts to their children. Watching those childish parental fights—when the adults could have simply talked things out or ignored each other—was endlessly frustrating, but it added a very real, high-stakes emotional core to the story.
Overall, Bad Buddy delivers a brilliant spin on the classic enemies-to-lovers trope, anchored by phenomenal leads, unforgettable chemistry, and a memorable story.

My mind thoughout the series
as i could already had this istitutuin Tht pran already liked phat since beginning….n as drama progress Got to find out he liked him in high skl but he saw tht phat like this gurl so he would get hurt when he saw her and phat together..even in present whn he sees them he seems so hurt tht my heart cant take the achness and throbbing.ouchh….really heart every time.i love his acting.i just love him..in ep 4 they both tlk abt who likes tht gurl n once again pran feel torn apart whn he hears tht phat likes ink from his own mouth…n thn phat tries to confirm his feelings with her but she doesnt like her…ok other side phat trues out the tricks to find out if someline like u on pran n he starts to realised in ep 5 tht he likes Pran n has feelings 4him..he gets jelly of pran’s friends n even beats him infront of pran nearly wanting to expose thier relationship tht they know each other….thn pran and phat talk to each other on rooftop n phat says he doesn know if they are friends or enemies and want to find out n all n thn pran q him if they want to be frnds n phat says no…n…..they have a kis…okg…u dont no how much i felt during this kiss..omg…i cant handle the excitement…the happy butterflies right now..omg…i cant belive they kisssed….damm the kiss was so hot and passionate…one of the best kissses in bl so far..i could feel the emotions,passion and feelings…i had to watch tht kiss scene again cuz i was so excited n laughing tht i could only see hald cuz my eyes were half cover with my cheeks…heeheeafyer ep 5 phat tries to talk to pran but he keeps quiet n thn phat Follows him around n thn finally pran talks to him duing the camp…they kept a bet tht they will make the each other confess their feelings…n then they start to play the bet game and flirting with each other…at end of ep 7 they Come to good terms n kind of end the game…they have cheek kisses..so cute…omg ep 8..its like they taking turns to sulk and pessify each other..they have mini fights which r so cute…i just live their love interaction…they tryna hide their relationship But thn at end of ep 8 they accidentally pull down the curtain of the Stage n they reveal their closenes…so excited…fin the series @3.20am on 14/5Was this review helpful to you?
This was amazing
Y'all... I loved this... no spoilers, but I loved this, and I know everyone and their mother loved this (well... this may not be a mom kind of show) but I loved it so much, it ate, I loved it. It just made me super happy. I truly don't think I've ever been this content with the ending and just the everything in a show, like everything about it was really good, and honestly the things that I might have a small issue with are so small and insignificant that they don't even effect the rating I'm giving it, like this might be one of the few 10/10 BL's I've seen (Not Me is 10/10 too tho dw dw) Like its not even that this is my new fav show or that it's even in my top shows I've seen, but it was just so good and complete and made me happy that I just loved it even though its not my all time favorite (idk if that makes sense) ANyways, it was really good 10/10 would recommend, would watch againWas this review helpful to you?
Bad Buddy Best BL 2025
I love the story, characters, I love that it did not contain rich CEO using status to intimidate bully his subordinate into a relationship. I enjoy some of the BL but most of them have the same stereotype story line. I am not of the community but I support and encourage more stories like bad buddy. everything about this show was truly amazing. It did not sensationalize or sexualize the characters, it did not put the narrative that LGBTQ focus their sexuality onto someone else. I recommende this show. Film był wciągający.Smutne jest to że ich rodziny są złe na sobie nawzajem i muszą się ukrywać z przyjaźnią a później miłością .Ale udaje im się przechytrzyć swoich rodziców i koniec końców są razem ze sobą (powiedzieli rodzicom i niektórym znajomym ,że zrywają ze sobą) .❤️
Uwielbiam scenę gdy Pat i Pran są w pokoju i tulą się do siebie i w pewnym momencie puka do nich Korn i pyta się czemu tak długo Patowi zaszło pójść otworzyć drzwi .🤫

I actually heard about this series 2 years ago i think and i only watched it now. I thought it was overrated and yk the typical thai bl you watch, my thought was proven wrong, this series left a huge impact on my views on thai bls that are popular, ever since i watched it ive started to watch other Thai bls, this series was the 2nd one i actually finished. Now the series IT SOO GOOD, the plot is great especially the acting, the acting was so good to the point people started to think they were actually together. I want a season 2 please gmmtv.
