An amazingly well done Sci-Fi movie!!
Wow, this was epic. I didn't expect too much from a movie that is basically a promotion and introduction for a debuting boygroup, but this movie became one of my favorites. The story was intriguing from the very first minute and you got to see the future, the past, and the present that all lead up to a fascinating timeline. The production was incredible. The quality of this was seriously so high, I was blown away. It has nothing to do with Kpop or an entertainment company, it is a really well executed movie that includes tragic scenes that made me tear up, well done action, fighting and supernatural scenes, funny scenes that made me smile and you got slice of life as well! The soundtrack was fitting, the effects were great (the only thing bothering me was that talking plush bear...but whatever).
The actors were amazing, too! Of course the focus was on the P1Harmony boys, and they truly did an awesome job. As far as I know, it's their first time acting and each one of them smashed it! Nevertheless, the other actors got their limelight as well, and they made this whole movie so enjoyable and realistic. Every character was interesting and got portrayed perfectly, and it makes me want to know more about them and their story.
Now really, I am not praising this because I am a fan of P1Harmony (who literally did their debut AFTER this movie, so I did not even know them when watching). Actually, that's the only thing that i dislike about this movie: that it's seemingly only for promoting their debut. Like, give me more of the movie, of that story, of all the different characters!!
I love this so much, and I am not quite satisfied with the end, because it leaves so many things open. I hope that this movie will be continued, because it has so much potential.

it's not a waste of time, definitely worth watching!
It's really amazing, even if you don't Stan the new debutted boys (but you should in my opinion) you can really enjoy the movie, it's a really well balanced sci-fi movie which is based on a virus like in the real world. There are moments that can break your heart, some moments that you could not understand at all, cuz this is only the first part (FNC is prepared to have 7 parts of this story) , some really fun moments (btw the group is also really funny and softhearted). I really didn't expect so much from a group which hasn't ever veen in an actor's production, which aren't actors and are beginners, BUT OH MY GOD, they did so well. I really recomend this movie, if you stan them, even more, cuz it's connected to their debut!Like their jump in the time it's all so logical, here is so much actions, so powerful but also educative moments...really, you should watch this masterpiece!

surprisingly good!
I will talk about the movie itself cuz im not fan of any boy groups out there. If we talked about the plot, it was amazing and nice.the cuts are kind of weird though.
so it is better to watch the second time around to understand more.
I am not really good in review but if you want to know if this is recommendable, sure it is, a good laugh and new story to look forward to.
I swear if this gonna have a series remake, it will become a hit.
There are many stories to tell about this so called "new world".

Definitely worth watching!
This film has everything to enjoy - from a potential-packed storyline and beautiful OSTs to a talented cast and sparse comedic relief, it's exactly what a dystopian action film should be. I was honestly worried that it wouldn't be good as a stand-alone film due to it being promotion for P1Harmony, but you could definitely watch it and enjoy it even if you aren't interested in them! I do suggest rewatching it, though: during my first viewing, it was hard to keep track of the storyline, but it was much more enjoyable the second time because I knew the outline of what happened and could therefore pay attention to implications and detials. I especially liked how this film felt like an introduction to the world P1Harmony's concept is from, and how it was more implicit than explicit, allowing the audience to form their own opinions and theories. I definitely think this is one to watch, and I look forward to future continuations of the series! Was this review helpful to you?

All in all, a solid move but with no satisfactory ending.
I went into this expecting bad acting and a high amount of cheese but I left wanting more.First off the acting by the group was incredibly decent considering this is a pre-debut movie. While none of them felt like seasoned actors, they all looked like they at least had acted before. They also got some really big names to act along side them which made it even better.
Second the production. FNC really dropped some money into this. Even the CGI, which can make or break a movie like this, was pretty good. Not great, I HAVE been ruined by Hollywood blockbuster CGI but it was not bad at all.
Third, the story. I was really intrigued. I found the story to be interesting, with a Terminator sort of vibe. Only with a virus instead of an AI. It takes place across three timelines and the members are split among the three. Some have powers and some don't. I want to write more but I have to keep out the major spoilers.
The only problem is it does end on a cliffhanger that is supposed to be answered by the groups actual debut music video, Siren. It did not and there were questions about certain things that were in the movie that can't be answered in a music video. I'm gonna need a lot more than that to finish the story. I am also not the type to do lore homework on groups so that is not a good way to get me to understand a story.
It was a solid movie. I wouldn't expect more than what it was. Just wish I had gotten an ending.

I just don't get it
Nothing in this movie made any sense and nothing was ever really resolved. There is no build up that really sets the stage, you are just kind of thrust into the middle of a virus with no indication who anyone is and what is really going on. It's a confusing mess that to me, serves no purpose at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Better than Expected
It’s was actually pretty good. Not what I was expecting from a movie centered around a kpop group’s concept. The acting was good enough to keep me interested in the storyline. Though I would like to know what role that little girl plays since she’s not a part of P1H??Rewatch: possibly wouldn’t rewatch because it’s b an extended concept video
Story: interesting, but I wish it was completely
Acting: good for rookies especially idols who haven’t even debuted yet.
Music: usually I pay attention to the vibes of the music or the lyrics, but I wasn’t really focused on it. It meshed well with the scenes they were played in.
Someone else’s review on Viki said the MVs don’t conclude the ending, which sucks cause that’s what you’d expect for these concept videos. I’m not really one to do research and spot Easter eggs in MVs either, so I guess I’ll just be confused.
I wonder how much money FNC spent for the cgi, props, and actors cause not all of the familiar faces were from the company?

Amazing Sci-fi Movie, Now One of My All-Time Favorite's
Honestly, going into this movie I didn't expect much. But, the storyline and everything about this movie really exceeded my expectations. The fact that this movie was made just to promote an idol group is interesting and this was one of the factors that led to my low expectations. I thought that since it is just to promote an idol group it wasn't going to be that immersive. In my opinion, this movie doesn't have just one specific genre that it sticks to and that is what makes the plot more interesting. The mix of thriller, sci-fi, comedy, and action was to me almost perfect because it didn't overdo any of the genres.
Personally, I think that this movie is so good that it needs a sequel or it needs to be made into a movie series. The ending of the movie was a bit rushed and did not have a resolution so it would make sense if P1Harmony and FNC Entertainment make this into a movie series.
The acting in the movie is surprisingly good, I didn't expect much since the members are the main characters. But their acting was exceptional and though they have no past acting experience their dedication and immersion into their characters was amazing. I think that the music when there was also impressive, the music matched the feelings of the scene and added on to the scene as a whole.
I watched this movie last night and when I woke up this morning I knew I had to watch it again. This movie is to me something I can re-watch over and over again and it would not get old.
FNC Entertainment had an amazing Idea with this movie and I hope that they continue to make movies. I have a speculation that this was only episode one of their series. The ending of the movie was not at all resolving and I think they did that for a reason and hopefully, that reason is that there is going to be another movie.
If you have been meaning to watch this movie and are not sure if you should watch it or not. I'm telling you right now you will not regret watching this movie. This is probably now one of my all-time favorite movies and it is worth watching.

Surprised but in a good way ! Only 9.5 for now bc...
it needs a sequel ! (or should've been made into a drama instead)Watch if: You're a P1ece, interested in getting into P1harmony, just want to casually watch something w/o too much intentions.
Don't if: You don't enjoy intro-like movies w/o a continuation yet, dislike dystopian/sci-fi movies.
First and foremost I love the storyline, the world building in this movie is well thought out and it's a wonderful tackle on the sci-fi genre. The cgi and sfx were also amazing, I didn't expect to see such high level of quality just for a pre-debut movie. Acting was also solid for rookies, I follow many groups and most have subpar acting, even 3-4 years into their career. I was used to suffering through shows/movies, that even I will admit that some of my favs should stick to singing and dancing, but this was not painful to watch at all. Jongseob, Intak and Jiung shone the most in their respective time period, while Theo, despite short lines, made an impact as well through actions. Soul, like Theo, relied more on expressing rather than talking. He along with Keeho were probably the least impressive out of the 6 but I attribute that to the fact that they might be more comfortable in Japanese and English, respectively. If they decided on following suggestions on making a sequel, I'm sure their acting will be even better than this. Music scoring was also fitting to the mood and feel of the movie, and the ost by the members were also nice songs.
Now for the things I did not enjoy, which are very few. The one thing I didn't like the most was how they structured the story of Chaeyoon, they were so focused on the intro aspect of the boys, that her storyline seemed so cluttered, the talking bear was also kind of out of place. So while I think the idea and execution of this genre is good, I wish they fleshed out the characters a bit more, made intentions clearer and had better scene distribution and breaks. It's a standard length of a movie, and yet it felt short due to it being more of an introduction to the boys, as well as scenes that seem too long to be relevant. You can tell it's definitely a pre-debut movie, so I can see why others, especially non-fans, would not enjoy this. If they had the intention of making this longer, then it would've been fine, and non-fans could still enjoy the plot as it is and not as fans of kpop. But as of right now, I don't think they have any plans on making this into a full series despite the vague ending. I'm not asking for much, I wouldn't even mind if this was turned into a webtoon instead, like a comic inclusion to their albums (kind of like that one exo album), or short scenes incorporated into their music video trailer/teasers (like got7's flight log series), just so they wouldn't have to spend so much money on filming, while still continuing the story. It has incredible potential and it would be such a shame if they decided on dropping it like other groups.
Honestly speaking I was not expecting a lot from this movie, pre-debut and completely unknown characters (except Jongseob), FNC was ambitious to create such an extravagant debut considering the company's previous group's debut left much to desire. & I have to say they nailed it. You might be thinking that this review is coming from a fan, and you're not wrong... but, I became a fan after watching this movie. I first saw this in April and re-watched it again for the 4th time last night. It's the type of movie that I did not get tired of watching over and over again (which is extremely rare for me) which is why I gave it such a high rating and decided to finally write my first review here. Hope you guys enjoy it was well and possibly even become P1eces !

Convoluted movie with mostly subpar acting
The story is convoluted at best, while the stakes are pretty clear from the start, there is no indication on how to change things. so the whole movie is basically about following the life of a couple of humans during a particular point in time. All in all given the subject theme, the movie is pretty boring.
-minor spoiler from here-
Also some story beats really dont make sense to include, there is a girl who has obviously been bullied at her former school, and the movie shows that she is still bullied in her new school, that plot takes a substantial part of the movie, but neither is it resolved nor does it impact the story further in any way. while the girl seems to be super integral (if i understood the movie correctly) for the ending, she is just a deus ex machina with no further function.
the reason why the villans do what they do is also only adressed in one sentence and basically amounts to 'humans are evil the world needs to end'.
---spoiler end--
at least the actress is super pretty, sadly she only has screentime in the first story for the first 10 minutes or so.
all in all, cant recommend, waste of time
