made me watch the entire season in one seating, best drama to start your 2023
If you are still one of those who are hesitant to watch this series or still have doubts and wants to wait for the season 2 to be released, this is the sign to watch it now!The Glory had me on the edge of my seat.
The bullying acts in this series is beyond what I can imagine, it's just so cruel. It made me root for the success of her revenge and also made me question my values in life as I typically don't really like revenge.
Cannot wait to binge watch it again once the second season is dropped.

got me hooked immediately. WATCH IT
school violence In Korea hits again , these kids should go to juvenileprison and I'm not even kidding this is not normal .
In Europe we talk about bullying "they called me fat, they said my
nose is big" but in Korea they will just stab you with a knife and
make you eat your belly fat and I WISH I WAS JOKING .
LIKE THESE KIDS BURNED A PERSON WITH AN IRON
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. WHO DOES THAT.
what kind of society are they leading. It breaks your heart to think kids are really going through these horrific experiences when school is supposed to be a fun carefree experience in you life.
Either way the drama was enjoyable. I finished in less than a day cause they got me Hooked on what will happen next.Im looking forward to season two. I really love the actress and I must say I started catching feelings for the DILF that was the husband of yeon-jin, that man can get it anytime . Highly recommended since you won't that much frustrated but rather you start feeling satisfaction , that revenge and justice are slowly getting served :)

I don't need a prince, i need an executioner to hunt with me
Firstly, kudos to the cast and scriptwriter. Song hye kyo showed me another part of herself that I'd always hoped to see on screen. She portrayed her character so well, her emotions were truly doll like when necessary and the lady that played as her younger self potrayed her character so well. I love the fact that the drama potrays how bullying affects the mind and how each crime comes with a rep percussion no matter hiw little ir big it is. Making someone your dream in ither to exact vengeance takes a lot of motivation and strongwill. Once again do hyun didn't dissapoint, I'm always happy to see him on screen, that speak so much on how good of an actor he is.
In conclusion, this drama is quite similar to king of pigs, if you feel like watching something like this while waiting for season 2.

A punch to the gut
When you are bullied, people expect you to feel a lot of emotions, forgiveness, empathy, forgetfulness, kindness, care, sympathy. Anger might not be one of them. But what about that raging fire that still burns in your heart eating you away each day?The Glory answers to that raging fire. Much like it, it burns away all that is expected and gives you a picture of all that is real, raw and haunting. If you watched "The King Of Pigs" and felt anger surging inside of you, this series makes you feel exactly the same. The horror of the show will remain in your heart often reflecting into your own actions of questioning human nature.
Song Hye Kyo's newest drama is intense most of it thanks to her strong acting and the absolute chills it gives you. Her intense states, deep rage filled heart and her countenance feel like a punch straight to the gut. Her supporting actors from Lee Do Hyun to Shin Ye Run give a striking performance that adds to the treatment that the drama gives.
The Glory has its stronghold in every field, from the cinematography to the storyline, it holds you by your throat and leaves you burdened much like anything expected from this genre.

Is this work ignited enthusiasm?
First of all, I want to congratulate and thank all the staff, especially the director and the actors, for this great work. Shocking events at the end of the first season, shocking amazing actors. The times that are full of fun, excitement, and enthusiasm pass quickly. This is how I felt when I finished watching the first season. I really didn’t feel the passage of time in each episode. It lured me to the next episode, and I also felt that this series provided a great opportunity to show the talents of the actors more, especially the actor Jong Song Il. I think it was his time to take on an absolute starring role in an upcoming drama. I removed a star from my restriction because of the scandalous and daring scenes. Which, in my opinion, will not detract from the value of the work if it does not exist in the first place. Also, the OST of the series is really beautiful. Once again, thanks to everyone involved in this work. I can't wait for the second season. Was this review helpful to you?
Gripping story and heart wrenching!
I was hooked on to it from the first episode and just binge watched all 8 episodes in one go! This is heart wrenching to imagine what some students go through and the bias in society! Also, the chemistry between Jung Sung Il and Song hye kyo is off the charts though the scenes are minimal. I am really rooting for them though they may not end up together. I wish to see Jung Sung Il and Song hye kyo in their own drama as main leads! Best the screenplay and dialogues are on point and the evil roles are well done they make me hate them! Was this review helpful to you?
Can't Stop Watching
Get hooked on the first episode. Brilliant younger actors that plays the main leads.Im Ji Yeon gave a perfect performance here. Song Hye Kyo showed her real ability in acting. And all the other actors just as good.
I can also say that the director could really bring the actors best potential and performance. Especially for that psycho look in the antagonists eyes.
The writer also did a great job at showing a detailed story about how bullying is really severe in South Korea and how a survivor should experience after such violence.
Can't stop watching. I can say it's the best revenge drama of 2022.

A hit reunion of Song Hye Kyo and Kim Eun Sook
A difficult watch mostly because of some triggering scenes in the bullying part so beware of those but really a MUST WATCH. The solid plot of writer Kim Eun Sook is just compelling. The production from cinematography, musical scores, directing are all well-paced . The acting of the whole cast are all stellar and mother SONG HYE KYO is really phenomenal in her portrayal as Moon Dong Eun. I only plan to watch 2 episodes but because the story is so COMPELLING I ended up watching the 8 episodes in one sitting. Was this review helpful to you?

Intense!!
It's been so long since the last time I got hooked in SHK's drama. The plot reminds me a lot of Seo Yeji's last drama "Eve" - with FL wanting revenge against these powerful and rich people, trying to get the villain's husband's attention, fl became a school teacher on their daughter's school, daughter have problems, villain having an affair, and fl have a guy who loves them so much to the point of being their partner in revenge - the only difference is that this one is written well and definitely much much better - with less screaming.
Each episode is exciting, intense and very unpredictable.
But of course there is still some plot hole around with - with FL having a plot armor of course, because if we are going to talk about it realistically they can just have her killed, right?
I am glad that there was no "affair" going on with SHK and the Villain's husband.
But to be honest, I still wonder if the Villain's husband is really a kind person or if he may be twisted.. hopefully he stay as a good person.
Also I appreciate that SHK didn't use filters and overly make up to hide her lines. She was criticized about that in her previous dramas so you can see her real face on this drama and I love that a lot.
Probably the only thing I am not fond of is the ost or music scores that they used but it's not to the point that it ruins my watching experience.
I cannot wait for next season!!

Glory in the flesh.
"The Glory" contains everything you could ask for. Great cast as well as acting, but most of all an excellent story that keeps you in suspense throughout. There is chemistry between the characters, especially the leads, despite the age difference of 14 years between the actors playing them. This drama contains my favorite combination, which is the main storyline along with a side love thread. This introduces an element of freedom and charm with such a heavy drama theme as bullying or brutal revenge. It also must be said that this is one of the best works of actress Song Hye Kyo after "Descendants of the sun".
I am curious to see what the second season will bring us. Will she be able to complete her revange?

Song Hye Kyo really out did herself
This as to be the best drama of the year. All the actors and actress are great, they played their role so well I didn't know if I should hate them or love, they were just so amazing. The story line was great, not the typical cheesy kdrama that I'm use to. The production also top notch.Song Hye Kyo also out did her self in this role,I believe that roles like this would be best to show cast what a great actress she is.LOVED her in encounter but this role really showcased her talents, the emotions she was able to show case with her facial expression and her way so speech 👍. This drama is 10/10 for. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEASON 2Was this review helpful to you?
Taking bullying to another level
LIKEI don't usually commend child/teen actors/actresses but Jung Ji So was exceptionally brilliant in playing the role of young Dong Eun. I could feel myself being the one who got bullied instead. Was cursing and swearing all the time.
Chemistry between Dong Eun and Hyun Nam helping each other to live a better life.
When Do Young was intrigued by Dong Eun
When Dong Eun revealed her painful past to Yeo Jung
When Dong Eun passed a bouquet of flowes to Jong Moon
