Give it a go wouldn't disappoint you
As someone who has watched a few dramas with fantasy elements, I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike some other shows where fantastical elements can feel forced or excessive, "Till The End Of The Moon" struck the right balance. The storyline was coherent, and the fantasy elements seamlessly integrated into the narrative. The acting was a highlight. Many of the actors were familiar faces from previous series, and their performances were commendable. Their talent brought the characters to life, making it easy to connect with the story.
However, there was one aspect that left me slightly dissatisfied: Tai Tai Jin's ending. As the main character, he deserved a more fulfilling resolution. Despite his efforts, he didn't achieve as much as I hoped. This portrayal of life's unfairness lingered with me, even though I know it's not the whole truth.
In summary, the drama is definitely worth watching. The intriguing plot, strong acting, and balanced fantasy elements make it an enjoyable experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey from start to finish.

Great graphics, great act, but unsatisfying end
We can see tremendous amount of money spent all over this drama. The visual effects and costumes were fabulous.I was highly anticipated this drama because Luo Yunxi, Bai Lu, and the teaser looked promising. Sadly, i was a bit disappointed.
Both lead had great acting skill & top notch chemistry that we expected in a twisted couple.
I think of all the supporting roles, I would say Ye Bingchang delivered the best play.
Now, the bad part:
1. Story plot were "untidy".
I had to watched almost 4-5 episodes just for story gave explanation about things, which some of it could be done in a short time of one episode. So, the writing were ineffective.
2. To much complicated love story.
Yet the side love stories were not interesting enough to be watched. Waste of time.
3. Problems keep on coming.
Yet, the story was ended abruptly & unsatisfying. The final episode showed the lead had a daughter from her husband but that was that. How could a love story that ran through thousand of years ended so lightly that it felt abandoned by the writer?
It felt like this drama wanted to show that the good people do not deserve happiness in their lifetime. Seemed like the producer wanted to play God by making everyone miserable at first then in the end no one would get a really sweet & happy life.
I have a suggestion for producer like this: if you want to play God, don't make drama!
People already knew what real life is, so next time you really want to make a drama, give the suffering people a lot of happy moments too! That what drama is for, to entertain people hearts, not make them desperate!
4. The motion songs were not catchy enough by nowadays drama OST standard.
Sounds like song from old classic drama remade to modern song.
I thought Zhang Bichen & Liu Yuning were guaranteed for great motion songs, turned out it were not.

tragic Love Story
the back and forth and back and forth of the drama bored me a little.. it's almost the same thing played out over and over. that was a bit tiring and boring. The end seemed a bit rushed, almost like they wrapped it up in two episodes because they ran out of time or space and some things didn't get touched back on. I enjoyed the story and the acting ML & FL absolutely amazing. The ending I can't say I wasn't a teeny tiny disappointed, Definitely not the ending I was looking for or hoping for but was well enough. Was this review helpful to you?
Magical, Mesmerizing and Lovely
Trust me, I had a craving for historical, fantasy drama but most of them are either cringe or the story is quite a cliche. I kind of cannot watch a basic, bland, repetitive story without interesting spices and I think this serves the purpose. This one's really different. The acting, the visuals, and the CGI was beautiful and captivating. I think one can give it a watch, I felt it was worth my time because I loved the scenery and the Chinese culture. The gestures depicted and the aspects of love were good. Throughout the episodes, there were many scenes that felt not really align with the concept that began with predictive. However, it's fine to stick out till the end. Also, while watching I did skip the dream episodes (13-17) which serve less purpose and read summaries to save time, and I felt the concept was repeating itself in those eps (you can watch though for the romance). So I'd recommend watching it at 1.5x and slowing down on the romantic moments between FL and ML because they do NOT disappoint.Find all the episodes on YT. The makeup was average but the CGI was real and shot well. I loved the costumes. The side characters although they live for the lead romance some side stories were engrossing to watch.
In short, there are 3 realms (immortals, mortal humans and demons). The devil god (ML) purpose is to bring chaos and the FL is the chosen one to avoid him from reaching the ultimate potential so she goes back in time to reverse the fate. Love is the key, to do so.
The ending was okay. So it personally didn't leave me empty-hearted because I was happy with the romantic scenes that the leads shared. This drama also inclined a lot towards the battle of fighting for love and spans 1000 years. Again evil misunderstandings always find a way to mess up this dynamic. But I felt the few twists were good so try it out!

Finally a good xianxia this year!
I was excited when I heard who was going to be the ML in this drama. Luo Yunxi is amazing when it comes to playing bad guy turned good. The chemistry between ML and FL is great as well. What a great twist to show their back story as a Immortal in love with a demon and the ML was the good guy in their backstory. Deng Wei is a wonderful actor too. Sadly his wife is pretty annoying. Chen Duling is an actress I just cannot get behind. I gag almost every time I see her pop up in a drama I am watching. Of course now she is after Tantai jin! He better end up putting her in her place for the FL soon or I will be disappointed. Besides that I am absolutely in love with this xianxia. This is definitely heading towards an unforgettable love story. The only thing I hate is I can feel there is a sad ending headed our way.Was this review helpful to you?

Just not for me
This drama just not for me....I did enjoy the start and might regret later dropping it however we do things in the moment....
Did I enjoy the acting? to some degree yes from Bai Lu & Luo Yunxi, both excellent and both have proven it before.....
Reason I dropped it just the plot was not the most interesting for me.... Wasn't really invested in the support characters.... I have had dramas the mains not the best however at least 3-4 supports performances kept me invested in continuing to watch, sadly not the case here.... Was just forcing myself to watch something didn't like and understand however maybe that in itself can be a reflection on me....
Anyways I see from the comments plenty enjoying, so if you are watching please continue to enjoy.... This is it for me on this drama.... All the best!.....

The Mostttt amazing xinxia drama of 2023.
Waited soo long for this drama and it didn’t disappoint. Everything about this drama is a masterpiece; costumes, cinematography, acting, plot and the chemistry between ML and FL is chef kisses. The only thing I don’t like is that it only has 40 episodes, which seems a little less to me and i feel like it’s little rushed. Can’t wait to see how the story unfolds but so far its WORTH THE WATCH. I highly recommend it.
My sister who isn’t a fan of ML and FL was planning not to watch this drama but after seeing 1st episode, she is as obsessed as me (who is a BIG FAN of both ML and FL).
Can’t wait for more episodes, i wish i could buy them all together and watch it.

God I don't want this drama to end
Till the End of the Moon is probably the most spectacular series of 2023 in my opinion as it becomes the most-watched series of the year and that's why I am writing my first review. The success of the series is no doubt because of the main leads, Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu.At first I found it quite boring, but the twists made me stay there. The plot twists were very interesting and exciting. After watching each episode, you are looking forward to a new episode, but in my case before starting a new episode I always think if there a sad scene or a sad ending awaiting. The story line was excellent.
Luo Yunxi looked handsome as hell in the look of Devil God, the eye liner was smoothly and perfectly done.
After watching first 5 episodes, the exquisite costumes, jewelries, make up and those beautiful and handsome faces made me stay there very badly.
One thing I didn't like was that I completed the drama within 5 days, I very badly didn't want this show to end.
The music caught my heart the drama had so many beautiful songs(you should go and listen to them now).
I absolutely believe the scene stealer is Tantai Jin who played by the awesome Luo Yunxi. He portrays his character brilliantly and he's very believable in doing it. I have to admit, I love his visual and expression as Tantai Jin. I guess no one can play the character of Tantai Jin better except him. As if the character was made only for him. And for you all information, I could not take my eyes off the screen whenever I saw him on it. Tantai Jin you stole my heart in your every look so, I am coming to take it back.
Those who think there should be a season2 for this drama with a happy ending please vote.

I maybe a minority in this review, but this Xianxia gone bad from episode 11 onward. Dropping it.
Till the End of the Moon is one of the most anticipated Xianxia Cdrama of 2023, starting with Leo Luo, Bai Lu as the main CP, and Chen Du Ling and Deng Wei as the 2nd CP.Xianxia genre is not my thing, but I like Leo Luo and Bai Lu in Love is Sweet because their onscreen chemistry in that drama was off the chart. I am watching this Xianxia drama because of them. The good things so far about this drama are the production quality is so good, the CGI, and the costumes.
I enjoyed the first 10 episodes, but it went downhill for me from episodes 11-16 because of the fighting scenes and characters of Ming Yi and Sang Jiu. It took f***ing 5 episodes to fight between good and evil. These 5 episodes were confusing and had no linkage to Tantai Jin and Li Su Su characters thus far.
What's up with the asteroids and all the gods? Ultimately, they could not win over the devil, and all the gods and Ming Yi died. It was lame that Sang Jiu located and rescued him by transporting him into a tiny dragon, wtf.
I am so disappointed and unsure if I want to suffocate myself to continue with this drama. It is 40 episodes long and last an hour for each episode. Too much time to be wasted on a horrible script with stupid fillers. Grrr...
In addition, Chen Du Ling is a one-dimensional actress; I wish they would cast someone else better. I watched AvenueX ranting about how bad this drama is, and I agreed with her. I will not waste my precious time with it, even when I like Leo Luo and Bai Lu's acting abilities.
I am giving it a 4.5 rating.

Wibbly wobbly timey wimey plus Karma and a Marvel amount of CGI
Rated= 5 ~ 24.5/50 ~ 4.9RPG Scene // Zombies wandering through Mountain Pass. Swing the short sword.
I initially dropped this at episode 2 after reading the reviews. I felt like this was going be a 'bully him until he snaps and then we'll congratulate ourselves on being right' sort of thing but reconsidered and started watching again. At episode 20, I've dropped it for good.
I think it's best to decide for yourself if you like something or not and if you, like me, decide that it's not your sort of thing, it wasn't time wasted. You tried something new and made a decision on it. That's just life.
This whole plot really could have been something. It's main focus was on karma. Every action, every laugh and tear caused, will come back to you. There are 4 timelines to this story. The original that we open with, the 'past life', the 'ancient past life' and the altered timeline.
When reading the reviews, it would seem a lot of people didn't like the first time line of the Ancient past life arc, which we see second, between eps11. and 18.
Going back to what I just typed about trying things out for yourself, this was my favourite part of the 20 eps I watch LOL I wish that had been a series by it's self, I loved that concept and I actually really loved the set and designs. It felt like a fantasy fever dream and the drama kid in me is ok with that. It's also the basis of the entire plot. The whole story starts with what happens in this arc so it was meant to be there. It's the foundations of everyone else's karma. The past is paid for and the future is written with every choice we make, even if we're think we're doing a good thing.
Unfortunately when we came back, I could already sense that the writing would start to dissolve. When I start to feel that way, I watch the last episode and decide if it's worth it and have ultimately decided that it's not.
I probably would loved this kind of show as a teenager but I'm now well into my adulthood and this sort just doesn't entertain me anymore.
So I join the ranks of the more critical reviews where I feel like, there was a masterpiece in here somewhere, the general idea, the costumes, the superhero movie cgi fight scenes, but the execution was dissolving into something quite childish and some sort of lack of understanding of how to properly communicate with people. Emotional maturity will teach you that nothing ever good comes from lie. There is no such thing as a good lie. When I got to the 'he keeps his distance because he likes you, lets seduce him' story line in 19, I can feel the annoyance coming in the following episodes as though I was going to start schooling my teenage nieces. When I skipped to the end, I can see that that attitude doesn't change and when you are world weary, regardless of age, that isn't entertaining.
It's definitely has it's audience as with everything but I feel like I've long outgrown this kind of show.
Leaving on a brighter note, I actually really enjoyed the music in this one. I'm in shock. I genuinely loved the background sad music that was happening. There's a genuine ache to the pieces I was hearing along with just enjoying the emotion in the instrumentals. So silver lining perhaps? To my surprise I found some chinese songs to add my playlist. So you see?
Nothing is ever futile.
