Weak Hero Class 1 (2022)

Although Weak Hero Class is set in high school unlike The Glory, where the FL is an elementary school teacher. The Glory has intense flashbacks of the FL being bullied by her high school classmates. Both dramas have revenge towards bullies. The leads of the dramas have also trauma from bullying/violence. Warning for violence for both dramas.

Both stories focus on friendship and misunderstandings that put that friendship in jeopardy. One of the friends becomes distant and aloof and behaves poorly while the other tries to keep their friendship alive. School bullying is a heavy theme in both films, as well. Weak Hero Class 1 barely has any romance in it while Night Flight is an LGBTQ film.

MC has similar character growth, both shows talk a lot about bullying and have tragic ending. Both have bromance between main character and his best friend who joked that they might be a married couple in previous life. Both have graphic violence, it's just that one is in military and one in high school (D.P. is more graphic). Both dramas have Hong kyung & Shin Seung Ho. Even the opening feels very similar.

I've seen most of Dokgo Rewind and, to me, these dramas have a similar feel. They're not exactly the same but I think that if you enjoyed this one, you'd enjoy that one as well.

Both are centred around school violence and protagonists who use their wits to manoeuvre out of tricky situations, both based on Webtoons with casts of predominantly the same gender.

It gives me similar vibes, the story of both shows is well directed & written. Both shows have action scenes.

Both are set in high schools with students as the main characters. They focus on themes of bullying (and defense against it) and the strength of male friendships. Both have great bromances and sad parts, though School 2013 has a happier ending.

ABSOLUTELY HEARTWRENCHING

Focus on Bullying: Both stories feature protagonists who are bullied regularly. In "Boyhood," Mason faces physical and emotional bullying from his classmates and even older students. In "Weak Class Hero," Yeon-Shi suffers relentless academic and physical harassment from the "Union 3," a tyrannical student gang.
Coming-of-Age Struggles: Both narratives depict the challenges and uncertainties of growing up. In "Boyhood," Mason navigates first relationships, academic pressures, and family difficulties. In "Weak Class Hero," Yeon-Shi grapples with his anger, isolation, and the desire for justice.
Underdog Protagonists: Both protagonists are initially portrayed as weak and vulnerable. Mason shrinks from confrontation and seeks solace in escapism. Yeon-Shi, though physically capable, lacks the confidence and strategy to challenge the bullies directly.
Transformation and Growth: Over time, both characters experience a subtle but significant transformation. Mason develops a stronger sense of self and learns to navigate social complexities. Yeon-Shi, through strategic maneuvers and alliances, begins to dismantle the Union 3's power structure
