Muito mais que somente briga

Vi que algumas pessoas ficaram revoltadas com o fato de não ser idêntico a Webtoon. O diretor tem o direito de adaptar a história do jeito que ele bem entender, ele manteu a essência: violência no ambiente escolar e amizade, mas tem partes que ele mudou, seja para conseguir cumprimir mais de 200 capítulos em poucas horas, saja porque ele quis ter a liberdade de fazer algo novo, alcançar um público diferente e abordar novos temas, o que deu absolutamente certo!

Pontos que eu achei incríveis:
- a demonstração de primeiro amor experiênciada pelo Si-eun ser também seu primeiro amigo, o que enriqueceu a história.
- O surto do Beom-seok, demonstrando as diferentes formas que alguém traumatizado pode reagir. Pode ser algo besta para nós espectadores, mas para Beom-seok todos esses acontecimentos (violência familiar, violência escolar e exclusão) causou um surto e não uma resolução "boazinha" como muitos gostariam que tivesse (algo que seria totalmente irreal considerando tudo o que ele passou. Não justificável, mas entendível).
- A forma como o Si-eun lidou com o Beom-seok mesmo após deixar o Su-ho em coma. Isso mostra o quanto Si-eun se importa com seus amigos, mesmo depois de muitas "redflags" Si-eun não deixou de tentar incluir o Beom-seok, e depois de tudo não teve coragem de fazer mal a ele.
- Quando o Beom-seok fala "eu também não sei porque eu fiz isso, você deveria me entender, Si-eun" e o Si-eun responde "eu entendo, então você também deveria me entender" foi algo que realmente me impactou muito. O modo que eles lidaram de maneiras totalmente diferentes para uma "mesma" situação de exclusão, mostra que pessoas não agem da mesma forma.

As someone who has been a fan of Jihoon as an idol for a while, I am so glad I got to watch him reach his fullest potential as an actor 🫶🏼 He did such an amazing job portraying Sieun, i felt his every emotion through the screen…his sadness…his resentment…his happiness. He is so so good at depicting human emotions through his expressions.

As for the series itself, I never expected it to end the way it did (which was honestly devastating), and definitely could be avoided if some better decisions were made (I am looking at you Beomseok) Nevertheless, there is a deeper message that only such an ending could’ve painted.

Que loucura

A atuação foi de arrepiar, os personagens são muito complexos, a história é muito interessante e envolvente, me prendeu até o fim querendo saber o que iria acontecer, gostei muito do desenvolvimento da amizade do su-ho com o si-eun, um ponto alto da série, o melhor na verdade.
O início com aquela "gang" sla, pareceu meio encheção de linguiça, achei algumas lutas meio sem nexo, sem um motivo aparente, era só pra brigar, e isso se prolonga ao longo da série, me incomodou um pouco, era violência de graça sabe? talvez o objetivo fosse esse mesmo kkkk mas eu não gostei, a violência foi exagerada demais sem necessidade de ser, no meio disso tudo eles se equivaliam ás pessoas que faziam isso com eles, achei bem ruim a forma como abordaram, gostei do fato deles se defenderem e não ficarem calados, mas tudo tem limite né kkkk, achei meio: "ué, mas vocês não estão lutando justamente contra isso?", o final foi meio avulso, não teve um fechamento bom e achei meio incoerente.
Enfim, mas independente disso tudo, eu gostei bastante.

Drama escolar curtinho (apenas 8 episódios) baseado numa webtoon. O tema é a violência escolar. Achei bem violento e gráfico (a cena da cortina ainda me assusta). Mas é um drama interessante. A vítima do bullying começa a revidar a violência sofrida e as coisas vão escalonando ao extremo. Nesse processo o protagonista acaba fazendo dois amigos, mas no final mesmo essa amizade acaba em tragédia.

Mas mesmo o final sendo um tanto trágico, a jornada é interesse e te mantém presa até o final. Porém uma coisa que me irritou profundamente foi a intromissão do gângster na briga entre os garotos, sinceramente para mim pareceu algo para "encher linguiça", talvez uma desculpa narrativa para justificar a aproximação da Young Yi do grupo dos garotos.

Também não sei se era intencional, mas notei um certo clima "de interesse amoroso" entre os personagens. O fato do Oh Beom Seok ter surtado tanto porque o Ahn Soo Ho não adicionou ele no Instagram mas adicionou a Youngi Yi, me pareceu que ele tinha um interesse para além da amizade pelo Ahn Soo Ho. Fora que eu tenho meu próprio ship que é o Ahn Soo Ho com o Yeon Shi Eun. hehehe...

No geral gostei bastante. Da forma como terminou parece que há possibilidade de uma 2 ª temporada e estou torcendo para que tenha mesmo.

I have no words

I don't even know how to start. I watched the series because I knew 2 actors who play there so I already had some expectations that it's gonna be good but this show is just amazing. The actors portrayed their roles so so good. I don't even have words to describe it. (I wish I could speak English fluently.) They moved my heart in a lot of scenes. I was shocked, I laughed, I cried. I fell in love with Shi Eun and Soo Ho friendship. It was so cute and pure and just so real. The series showed a lot of real teenagers problems the twist were so good. THE ENDING WAS JUST STRAIGHT PAIN. I mean I was happy that he didn't die but the scene when he "woke up". They just played with my feelings.
To sum up the show is in my top faves but we'll see after another season.

Great Show

This show was literally SOOO good! if you enjoy shows with fighting this is it!! I really enjoyed this show, it even made me shed a few tears! i highly recommend this as a starter show, it really gets you hooked in throughout the first episode! Honestly I knew I was going to like it because of Park Jihoon, I told myself that I have to like it anyways because I love his music, but after watching the first episode I can say for sure that this show is a show that you love or hate, no in between! this shows Jihoons side of acting and this show showed me how good Jihoon can act! Like I said i really do recommend this show to anoyone whos just getting into korean dramas!

An unpredictable movie... on a predictable subject

This is a very predictable subject I've noticed with Korean dramas around bullying. But I love how it was done in an unpredictable way. I have to admit this probably wouldn't have gotten great reviews if it wasn't for the amazing acting by all the leads. The male lead was phenomenal one of the best performances I've seen in all of year long. I love how I wasn't sure what was going to happen next.

I was fine with it but I was amazed by the graphic nature of the series. The action scenes were done very well.

The grittiness of this drama remind me a lot of another drama called Extracurricular. I appreciate that it was a nice tight eight episodes so it did not contain a lot of filler episodes and one too many origin stories.

Envolvente…

Ainda tentando procurar expressar em palavras a complexidade que esse dorama me fez sentir enquanto o assistia.

Foi uma mistura de pânico, terror, querer entrar na tela e dar um saco em alguns personagens também e me sentir mal por em alguns momentos ter pensamentos perversos, kkk.

As vezes eu ficava me perguntando: nossa eles se matam e nenhum adulto faz nada? Como? Mas depois refletindo, talvez essa violência toda explícita foi intencional no sentido de demonstrar o que é o bullying no mundo de quem o sofre. Com intensa perversidade e bem sanguinário. Que nem todos enxergam, mas a vítima vive com aquilo diariamente.

Um mundo onde o ego de cada um é mais importante. Pois a cada momento é revoltante ver como os “vilões” não aprendem e sempre querem demonstrar um poder usando artifícios vergonhoso (isso que me dava uma raiva).

Pois bem…

Tudo se inicia porque um bando de idiotas não podia ver uma pessoa em paz. Si Eun só queria estudar tranquilamente, pois era através do estudo que ele se isolava do mundo. Pois, por conta de pais relapsos, ele não sabia interagir ou demonstrar qualquer forma de sentimento. E ele sempre pedindo pra deixar ele em paz. Mas eles escutaram? Kkk e usando todo seu raciocínio ele luta com aqueles que lhe importunam.
Agora pra mim foi o cúmulo foi ele morrer fazendo educação física mas na hora de brigar ter uma disposição de outro mundo, kkkk. Só em ficção mesmo.

É interessante de ser ver ao longo do drama como se dá o progresso do seu personagem, pois a partir do momento que ele começa mesmo a interagir com pessoas, formar amizades, ele começa a expressar sentimentos que há anos estavam guardados nele. E bato palmas aqui pra atuação do Park Ji Hoon, ele demonstrava apenas num olhar toda a intensidade que o seu personagem carregava.

O que só me deixava num conflito interno, esse dorama me despertou vários, kkkk. É que uma raiva se assolava em mim, principalmente em decorrência que os supostos “valentões” sempre se utilizavam de golpes baixos pra ganhar, e nesse momento torcia por cada machucado que eles sofriam. Mas aí depois eu me perguntava, até que ponto vale o espancamento para não se tornar uma pessoa igual?

Quando a amizade dos principais começou a se deteriorar, em decorrência, ao meu ver, da fraqueza do Oh Beom Seok, vemos a seguinte nuance: a pessoa que antes era vítima se torna o monstro, fazendo tudo aquilo que antes lhe faziam. E nessa hora que vem a reflexão. Mesmo ele tendo sofrido, nem mesmo ele conseguiu responde qual foi a razão de ter se tornado aquilo.

Ele era medroso por conta de todos os traumas, vindo até mesmo da sua própria casa. Como ter uma cabeça sã, né? Mas quando ele engatou numa amizade, que ele nunca teve, não soube contornar o fato de ter uma suposta “intrusa” nela. Eu fiquei até na dúvida, não sei se essa foi a intenção dos roteiristas. Que ele nutria um amor, muito acima de amizade, pelo Ahn Soo Ho, e com isso não soube processar o fato de perdê-lo pra outra e criou em sua cabeça que ele era o culpado de tudo e precisava acabar com ele.

Muitos podem até não gostar como o final se deu, mas quando falamos de bullying, não enxergo que no fim se tenha um final feliz. Principalmente pelo fato do trauma permanecer para sempre. Acho que foi sim um final coerente com tudo que se buscava abortar. E não tinha como se clamar justiça de outra forma.

Por sinal é até um tópico interessante. Até que ponto devemos buscar justiça com as próprias mãos? Pois num mundo corrupto, como mesmo se demostra com a figura do político, não havia como se buscar uma justiça de forma legal. E em decorrência disso ele acabou até sendo punido, e só conseguindo ir pra um colégio que só há, literalmente, delinquentes. Até seus próprios pais, que lembraram que ele existia, falaram: você não fez nada errado.

Agora esperar pela continuação… Só espero que seja tão boa quanto. E queria também que alguns personagens retornassem, pra concluir certas nuances da história.

Resumo: um dorama bem reflexivo e bem construído que fale muito a pena assistir pra quem não tem estômago fraco.

a weak hero doesn't mean he can't fight, but he knows how to handle vengeance and self-bravery

NEED A SEASON 2 BUT THE CONTINUATION IS ON WEBTOON!! huhuhu it was very entertaining and the fact that it breaks my heart because many things were getting involved by their friendship because of betrayal. but this drama was interesting from the beginning till the ending was a cliffhang a bit. Adding it to my favorites, but I need to explain a bit but not that long since the story seems confusing but i'll try to give a summary to it.

But, i'll share a bit since I saw a comment from the website I've been watching kdramas and it was actually a prequel. Gotta find it on webtoon to read the story where it begins to be very exciting tbh. but they said its different but i'll try I guess.

The story talks about how a student handles bullies in school, much more of giving revenge and for the sake of giving them what they deserve to be treated. to fighting scenes to friendship scenes. injustices from the weak hero turns to be so powerful, involving his life to be in despair and how his education and all destroyed because of blaming the people who gave too much attention to him to be mad to give punishment. From the plot itself, it seems interesting but when I get to watch the drama, now I realized that I got very entertained because of the action and fighting scenes that makes it look even attractive. I never had been obsessed about this drama because it is one of the best action high school series I've watched. I think the story, to be specific, is how oneself struggles to find a way to give revenge and seek for what's right by using violence since most of the time, high school violence (in most cases in some kdrama series) are not given attention to be solved. That blames the society and the high positioned leaders as well. getting involved and justice not been served.

The ost in short fits the atmosphere of the drama in every episodes. It seems to give so much intense from every fighting scenes and the bonding moments with their brotherly-friendship. Giving most of the scenes such feels as well. I would also note the cinematography of this drama, because it could also blend with the scenes most especially the fighting scenes.

The characters, with the cast was WOOOOOH, they were entertaining from their scenes on screen, their emotions gave out and their actions scenes was on point! I also fell their friendship as well from where they were until the end was kind of sentimental. But not to spoil so much, the cast was very promising as well ever since the 2 male leads, I saw them from their previews kdrama roles as well.
- Park Ji-hoon, as the yeon shi-eun he got this role very lucky. many of the viewers appreciates his acting skills even myself could appreciate him much, he even improved a lot from his role from the previews drama i've watched, at a distance spring is green. A promising actor as well!!
- one of my favorite actors as well, Choi Hyun-wook as ahn soo ho. I got so attracted by his role from this drama. The acting skills was very entertaining and how skilled he was. Most of his roles especially some drama series he was casted, this was the first kdrama I've seen his fighting skills too! I fell in love from the first web drama I watched seeing him, Real:Time:Love. A promising rookie actor as well!
- Hong kyung as Oh Beom Seok, hmmm this is the first drama I saw his role and very well done! I guess he was also promising actor and while watching his scenes, seems very real as well. Even if I hated his role from this drama, he deserve attention to the viewers and might as well have the main role from future drama projects as well.


Overall, I hope it has a season 2 since the ending was seems a cliffhang after all. But I would look forward to the webtoon version since this was (again) a prequel.
Good for binge-watch and a time killer as well. I think in most cases, I would probably no recommend to beginners unless if they are interested to action series. A must watch to kdrama fans as well!

Looking forward to the main casts roles soon!!!

this would be me if my impulsive thoughts wins during such situations SKJFSKF park jihoon really nailed portraying sieun in here. and hyunwook, gosh, looks like my type of guy HAHAHAHA the extroverted and funny but knows when to become serious guy ah it's sad what happened to him and spoiler--atay jud kaayos beomseok diri dae anyways what i felt the most while watching this is that it is really scary and made me feel so stressed out lol. the way they just kept running into gangs made me feel so scared for them. the fights???? damn this should be one of the dramas i have ever watched where i kept covering my eyes and pausing the video HAHAHAHA the violence is just not for me especially the knives and bats. fuck bullies indeed and they deserved all the violence. it's a good show but definitely not for kids!!

my rewatch value is low because i cannot handle the violence but if you're here for the story, it's a must watch
