My comfort show!!
I don't tend to rewatch dramas, but I've rewatched this specific drama so many times!!! There's something about it that brings me comfort and never fails to give me butterflies no matter how many times I watch this. Definitely recommend!!! Sweet & Lovely Drama
This drama was so beautiful and sweet, like balm to the soul. It's is such a sweet, precious story that unfolds slowly without much angst.Beautifully written and acted with a fascinating story, breathtaking scenery, elegant costumes, and gorgeous music. I'm in tears because it's over and I miss the characters already. I wish I had a friend group like this.
The pacing was slow and gentle, but if you have patience it pays off in a satisfying way later on.
This is my first time watching any of these actors or actresses, but I'm definitely looking them up and will gladly watch their other dramas. They are incredibly talented and fun to watch.
It's been a long time since a drama left this big of an impact on me.

Totally a Romcom to escape reality
If you are stressed enough with your work, your life, or whatever burden you have and you just want to watch a simple romcom, this is totally your series! After work, I don't have enough strength to overthinking about someone's drama. I just want to watch beautiful couple being lovey-dovey. I could assure you there is no love triangle drama, or someone who just want to break the main leads apart. From the very first episode, you already can see they are attracted to each other. Usually, main leads got together around half the whole series (around episodes 16, if they have total 33 episodes). Therefore, I kinda surprised about this series. I even start to questioning, whether there will be a lot of cliche drama since this series have 33 episodes. Thankfully, it is a simple and heart warming until the end of the shows. If you are the type who want to watch plot twist kinda drama, this is not for you though.The only shortcoming from my point of view is, I don't really like the second leads. I feel like they don't have chemistry with each other.

pure sugar
If you want to watch a show that is nothing but sweetness, this is the perfect drama.Somehow they did it just right that you can binge watch this without developing a toothache from all the sugar.
This show will bring a smile to your face without fail.
The main couple are just so perfect. Their dynamic, voices, singing, and chemistry are not forced.
The supporting characters are also really well developed and the acting overall is good.
This is definitely one I will rewatch in the future.

I really, really love this series! It's so much fun to watch with its cooking, friendship, and romance scenes. Plus, it's the only Chinese series where I don't skip the singing parts—I actually replay them because I love the songs! The way the main characters' relationship grows from being shy to becoming a strong couple is heartwarming. I also love seeing Gu Sheng getting to know and becoming pals with Mo Qing Cheng's studio friends. It made me smile all the way through.Some people say it's too smooth and lacks conflict, but I think it's realistic. Real life isn't always full of drama, and not every relationship has outside interference.
Tan Jian Ci and Zhou Ye do a great job in their roles. They really capture the shyness and crush feelings so well. This series is just awesome!

A story that’s like a song to your heart?
When I first started this drama, though I knew there’s a lot of great reviews about it, I didn’t really put too high an expectation for it.But here it is - I’m totally engrossed! The foods, the dubbing scenes, and the traditional songs! Truthfully, I always skipped things on dramas specifically when they get too much on the work (online games, aerospace, etc). But this is the first time I didn’t bother and didn’t want to skip because the dubbing scenes and traditional Chinese songs is really interesting and made me want to hear more.
Okay enough about that, the story and characters are well written and played too.
The main character, our perfect green-flag Mo Qingcheng and our multi-talented Gu Sheng. I love how direct their love story is, with no painful break-up or third-party interference. Still, IT’S NOT BORING because the flow makes it still so heart fluttering.
Meanwhile the side-characters ARE ALL VERY SUITABLE and FUNNY. Some dramas side-characters are boring or too forceful in the story, but I surprisingly love all the characters here and their stories are cute too. Even their third-wheeling is okay with me because it’s always funny. I just love their friendship so much!
All in all, I definitely made a great decision to watch this despite not knowing either of the actors/actress and just relying on the plots alone.
I suggest you all to give it a try too!

One of the best for me.
OMG!!!!! Definitely worth the wait watching this drama! This is one of my favourite novels from Mo Bao Fei Bao and the novel adaptation was perfectly done. They even enhanced it and gave more depth and details to each characters and scenes.I love that this is worry free, no unnecessary dramas/conflicts nor misunderstandings. Just simply Dr. Mo waving his "green flag" and his pursuit of happiness with Gu Sheng.
Casting was perfectly done, with Tan Jian Ci and Zhou Ye as the lead CP. I love and enjoy listening to the OST as well as the mouth watering parade of food!
I love all the characters and their relationships. It's all about friendship, family, love and their passion with their dreams.
This is just fluffy, fluffy, cuddles, sweetness overload, and you'll definitely smile the entire time you watch them.
Try reading the novel, if you already watched this drama. Definitely a 100/10 for me.

It is really good but it is missing something...
To start of, I like a lot about this show. I like the main couple, the other 2 side couples but I hoped the would have gotten together faster. I really love the whole ost, especially those the male lead sang and the opening song. I love the leads and the whole cast. This is also a 0 break up drama. The last few minutes of the last episode were very enriching, it gave a very nice closure to the show with "introduction" of the character.However, what took the 0.5 from this show for me was that I find that 仪式感 ( I am not going to explain the dictionary version of this word but to put it in layman terms, with this drama as the background, a ring or any accessory were not shown in the drama to show that they were getting married. They went to take wedding pictures which were sweet but a ring would have made the story more completed ) was not portrayed in this.
My PERSONAL opinion NOT related to the drama:
[Of course, it is not just about a/the ring, I find that this year some dramas, when they confess, it is very casual in a sense, different from like dramas up to last year. I really hope that dramas do not take this path where confessing and proposing become a bit too casual cause it is kind of a big part in the whole story and in real life. ]
I might have gotten a little carried away but I want to say that this show is really good apart from the lack of formality, I find.
I really recommend this though. All of the cast did a really great job portraying all their characters. It is a MUST-WATCH.

A beautifully creative drama that displays the artistry of voice, music, composer influence and lyric impression all in one. It shows how you would never know what one does behind the scenes to fuel their passions and how that fuel can ignite and inspire others. The romance factor (all of them) were slow-burn connections that displayed patience and understanding of one's interest and individual attitude. The beauty of the relationships through career, fans and personal attachments were heartfelt and endearing. The chemistry between the leads was a respectful ebb and flow of growth and intimacy that was palpable throughout. The OST was brilliant and memorable. This is a light and loving joyride into the lives of voice actors and all that are connected to them through art. A TIMELESS MUST WATCH!Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet voice, sweet food, sweet love! ?
I haven't seen the ML in any show, but i know he's in Lost you forever, haven't seen it as yet, I did watch the FL for the first time in BFTB, and she was incredible there.With that being said, I had this in my list and was so happy when I saw it finally started airing, I'm happy I only came back after a friend mentioned it was a NBU drama (NoBreakUp), so I didn't check out the comment section, so I blindly went in and boy did I have a great time watching this
This show is just simply a pure, sweet romance, and it worked, because you had chemistry with our MC that was oozing from the first episode, and throughout the show. The way they looked at eachother you'll think they were in love for real 😄. They also had some intense sexual tension between them 🤭, yet was sooo pure and sweet. No annoying FL, No mean ML, A wonderful ML who was so caring and sweet, and a FL who was just as nice just a man who loves a woman and her voice, and a woman who loves a man, his voice and his food, with some extremely incredible friends and a warm family ❤️
It was truly my cup of tea, I loveeee shows with singing and have only enjoyed Love scenery so far with that genre, and I am a sucker for sappy, sweet romance so if you like those things, plus food, you'll enjoy this.
Its really that simple. 😉

A fluffy innocent romance story with beautiful music and acting!!
If you need an escape from your hectic life this drama might be a good choice.Slow-burn romance coupled with a strong friendship bond that leaves you smiling all the way. At times it just gets too sweet and I will start stomping my feet. Something that I like the most is the meaningful smiles and eye contact between the ML and FL. It is filled with emotions (love and tenderness) that you can feel even without any script. The acting of the main leads are out of the world you can capture their emotions through their gestures and expression. Nicely done!
Good music is also a highlight, now only I got to know Tan Jianci has such a beautiful voice, and have added the OST sung by him to my Spotify...I am officially a Tan Jianci fan after watching him in two of his greatest works - Lost You Forever and Love Me, Love My Voice.
How can it be better? The starting is a bit abrupt to me but as you go on you will pick up quickly. The last few episodes can be shortened as they can be a bit draggy but you will be entertained by the sweetness of love portrayed by the ML and FL. In conclusion, it is a drama worth your time. I can't wait for the free episodes and went to purchase the express episodes on WeTV that is how good it is for me.
