When Healing meets Romance and begins Restoration

What a sweet series that allows one to get vested in each character without dragging the pace. The trauma points were not overly done. The push and pull in business dealings were just enough to help understand the dynamics of each character's decision making. The budding romance was humble, communicative and endearing. The OST was okay and overall production was solid. The supporting cast was good at driving home the concept of differences from big city beliefs and smaller community relations and loyalty. This was quite enjoyable and a different pace from most romance dramas. FL and ML chemistry was warm and swoon worthy at times. Very good balance and life evolving and love blooming in the midst. Worth the watch.

REAL Exhausting!!!

The series started with two strong individuals that found themselves in unique situations at the same time and respected each other enough to want to help the other. But in the end, it became two individuals with no backbone that go through a constant obstacle course of abuse and torment with no peace in sight. Messy and sloppy scripting. Inconsistent character development. Over exaggeration of torment and relational links. Extra ineffective and unnecessary side storylines which makes the torment drag even more. Chemistry between the leads is nonexistent when considering what they had to endure 'in the name of commitment and love'. The 'villains' continue to have an unrealistic connection to continue tormenting the leads with everyone knowing. Are these the only 2 families in the city? This is not what anyone wanted to see. Even when the ML and FL have a 'moment' of happiness it is lack luster and more of a relief than swoon worthy. Even for a soap the script isn't clean enough to see. STAY FAR AWAY from this MESS on FILM!

When My Boss and Beliefs Collide

This drama brought a refreshing balance to slow burn romances. The FL was young but not weak. She might be naive in romance but not standards nor boundaries. The ML was brilliant in strength as a boss and mentor yet soft when important. The nuisances within office relations, social norms and relational hesitation were relatable and heartfelt. The SFL as an antagonist was short lived but handled awesomely by the ML and SML. The supporting cast was very good at keeping the flow of the storyline. The growth with the FL was conveyed well. Even when the leads had conflict, you could still feel the 'heart' in it all. The unveiling of the 'bad eggs' was right on time and a twist that was enjoyable. The ML continued to grow in emotional intelligence which made the ending scenes cheer worthy. This series has a slow pace but is solid and worth the watch.

Interesting MINI with Twists

This was a good mini drama. The ML will be one to watch. The chemistry between the leads was good. The OST was a bit off and a little distracting. The 'inclusive' twists made things interesting. The FL was good at pacing herself throughout the series. Production could have been better with styling. The various twists even in the end felt as if they are prepping the series for a part 2. Which would be interesting yet trying. The ending was a bit rushed especially with the reveal. but this series overall is solid. A good watch.

Beautiful Love Overcoming it All

This series is a melodrama that delivers. The ML and FL were very good in the dynamic changes and challenges of their roles. Their chemistry was heartwarming and at times heartbreaking. However, the supporting cast was solid in conveying the storyline without things seeming forced. The emotional difficulties coming from traumas mental and physical was displayed quite brilliantly. There are parts where the storyline starts to drag a bit and feel repetitious. Yet, the ending received after all the ebb and flow of life tribulations and relational demands made it all worth it. This is a solid watch.

When Romance Wins the Race

This miniseries is very good. The twists, turns and chemistry between the leads were enjoyable. The SML was comic relief in so many ways. This type of story has been seen before. However, the ML and FL were strong in delivering non-verbal cues, romantic tension and keeping the overall vibe of the storyline. The OST fit the narrative well and didn't overshadow scenes. I have seen the male lead in a few major roles. He should have more. He is definitely one to watch. The overall production was solid. This is a ROMCOM MINI that is worth the watch,

Sweet Exchange of Heart and Hope

This is a cute series where the ML is younger than the FL yet in many ways more mature. Both leads are driven in their respective careers, however both struggle with insecurities that bleed into other areas of life. The growth factor (career and relationship wise) within this series is pretty good. There are parts from a business perspective that seem off. However, the writers tried to 'fix' it quickly in following episodes. The chemistry factor was sweet. The OST was decent. The parent interaction was good in voicing concerns without being overbearing. Trauma points were not over-the-top or a main focus which was refreshing. Overall production was solid. Worth the watch.

Very Good Miniseries

This series is a period piece but does not disappoint. There is definite mystery, crime, corruption and tension. The ML is not only good looking but embodies the character completely. The chemistry between the leads is interesting however not the main focus. The twists within the series don't seem too far-fetched and are executed well by the supporting cast. FL was well played as she had a naive outlook yet a quick wit that carried her beyond the norm. The villains within the series were interesting yet at times over the top. Overall, this is worth the watch!

CLASSIC Coming-of-Age Romance Drama! MUST WATCH!

This series was simply beautiful! From the cast, crew and overall production, well done! The ML and FL were very good at giving nonverbal communication and cues that spoke volumes. The trials and challenges within the series were felt but not overdone. Thank you, writers, for smart edits. The OST was perfect for driving the theme and overall progression and tensions throughout. I have seen Zhao Lu Si in various series, and she is good at conveying innocence and desire very well. Yet, within this series the audience can feel and see the growth within the ML and FL more than just positioning of hairstyle, job, school or situation. The leads conveyed real innocence to mature growth throughout the series that felt genuine and not forced or assumed. Chen Zhe Yuan is very dynamic and charismatic with his nonverbal cues. Their chemistry was methodically heartfelt and warm. There are many series that try to convey the love, desires and expectation gained and lost through adolescence to adulthood. Some come close but this one truly hit the mark in every way. The supporting cast was very good. The parental concerns which can be intense were addressed with reason and not an overbearing abuse or control. This is truly a treasure of what a blooming respect of connection, friendship and love can be. MUST WATCH!!!

Capture Captain Han's Lost Love would have been a better title.

This miniseries was cute. It gave a 'Mysterious Love' vibe. However. there were parts that felt repetitive, choppy and fell short. The overall scope of the storyline was pretty solid. Yet, the reason for the main villain's angst again Captain Han was still a bit unclear even at the end. The romance and chemistry between the leads was nice and sexy at times. The push and pull physical element with the leads sometimes conflicted with the dialog within the script. OST was a bit distracting. Yet, it's a solid mini to watch.

Mature - Relatable and Real

This series tackles business, friendships, relationships, family expectations, career sacrifices and more. The ML and FL are well matched. The way the antagonist was handled was a bit different but displayed a mature approach to a complex situation. When dealing with challenges during certain times in life the perspectives can be quite different, and this series addressed it well. Understanding that gains and losses not only come at a cost, but all are not necessarily good verses bad. This drama showed that even in the face of 'love' one must make the best decisions for themselves towards forward movement and not hindered growth. This series was more about life lessons than romance. But in the end, it provided a well-produced drama with balanced resolve in the end. Worth the watch.

Only when You have Time

This series was packed with a wonderful cast, good locations and decent storyline. However, when our overly educated leads lack decent critical thinking skills personally, it makes the flow of the series lack-luster. This drama was a slow burn romance with swoon-worthy moments near the end. The ML and FL had good chemistry yet on and off relatable communication which led to filler episodes that could have been left on the cutting room floor. The support cast was great with their give and take of trial tribulation, minor distractions and sub-plot romance developments. The business aspect was intriguing and not overbearing. The OST was just right for the 'feel' and 'tension' of the intent of the drama. The series overall is good with parts that drag and an opened-end finish. Nevertheless, due to cast and production, it is a solid watch.

The Love Contract that Last?

This tender swoon worthy miniseries is nothing new yet has a nice pace and flow for the storyline. The twists that de-bunk typical trope pitfalls were fun to watch and consider. The turnaround reveals and warmth from the extended family gave a refreshing add to what the typical 'contract love' stories provide. The chemistry between the leads was very good and 'moments' were swoon worthy. The antagonist throughout became a bit tiring, disjointed and reaching at times. The ending seemed rushed, forced and incomplete which made the overall arc of the storyline miss the mark. It is okay to watch, but for a better landing for the appetite of 'contract love' I would stop watching @ episode 23.

When Sacrifice is the Tie that Binds

This is a very cinematic drama. It has the thrill, romance, comedy and heartache all in one. The ML and FLs chemistry was palpable and enchanting. The second couple was amusing and capable within their roles. The villians almost brought a 'Friday the 13th' vibe to the series. Yet the pace and tension of it all kept you wanting more. It was refreshing to see both of these leads with a good script 'finally' with great delivery. The tenderness within this series was just right. The OST was perfect in capturing key moments. The concept has been done before.... Nevertheless, this was worth the ride and a must watch. Well Done, Song Kang, Kim Yoo Jung, Production, Cast and Crew!

When Fated Love is Under Attack

Nice miniseries filled with the tropes that we have come to expect. The cheating, manipulation, obsessive 'love' interest, trauma and tragedy gives a packed whirlwind of options to consider. Yet, the ML and FLs connection felt authentic and not static. The 'villains' were the norm weaved in unique ways to keep it interesting. The dynamics of the 'talent' feature was not as prominent as expected but more so a highlight. The 'extra' at the end could have been left out. However, for a miniseries its light, paced well and a solid watch.
