The return of JiuWeiJiao

I don’t know which annoyed me more, Ms Yu with her poison or the emperor with his. These tests of our lead couple’s loyalty is pretty damn tiresome.😝🙄😡The emperor set the stage for Zhao Ling to disappear under cover but the lengths he went to especially with that guard taking TingYun…😡🤬and Ms Yu’s lovely gift of chastity soup.😡🤬🙄 Both were big fakes and both damn annoying.😡🤬 Ms Yu was testing the waters to confirm Zhao Ling was really dead. She was neither completely convinced or dissuaded. She highly encouraged TingYun to stop her social climb to avoid the hassle. There was some sweet interaction with Ms Mo who was the staunch defender of TingYun at the funeral. She was all in to get in Ms Yu ‘s face.👏🏻 Later TingYun revealed the plot and apologized profusely. She really expected to get wrath from her friend, but k stead received understanding. Her friend was at first consoled someone else understood her grief, but could only be happy that Zhao Ling is still alive. The Yu’s continue to plot and want salt up to 80 per catty while using false scales to actually call a catty 1.7 weight. Thiswould undermine all the people that could least afford it. JiuWeiJiao is selling authorized salt as unauthorized salt…that puts a fun spin on things. The local politician is a bully in Yu’s pocket and he openly brags about it.😝JiuWeiJia’s ears perk at the news of the scales because he knows this is key evidence along with She ‘s letter of the corrupt practices of the Yu’s. It is refreshing to see Zhao Ling back to where he started. He is on familiar turf. It is not without huge risk because if he cannot gather the needed evidence, he may have to stay a salt dealer indefinitely. For me, that would be great improvement over having to deal with the whims of the emperor and the machination of the Yus and cronies. It is still a fun twist that they are being completely legal under the guise of being completely lawless. 🤣

Going full circle

They got me bad — I really believed the Emperor had turned his back on Zhao Ling and that he actually died from poison... I was sad and angry at how they chose to kill him — in prison, wrongly accused. 😒Yet, when Lord and Madam Yu wondered how easily Ling had died and even wanted a confirmation, which they didn't get, I started to hope. And, oh, how happy I was that he was alive! AND not only that... Even though it's for the investigation, he's back to being Jiuweijiao, making it feel like it has come full circle now!I am hyped for him being the smuggler again — he even looks more cheerful now. 😌Let's bring Minister Yu and his wife down! I am so ready for it! 👏😏
