If you're here for the drama, you'll have your fill!
Other than the decent make out sessions between Nine and Dao, there's literally nothing praiseworthy about this series. The story is tedious and the characters are shallow and abject. There's no depth in the characters and I find nearly all of them quite toxic and abhorrent. This show is borderline glorifying or at least trying to justify cheating. This got to be the best representation of contemptible friends and worthless "better half". The fact that this is a low budget production is their saving grace and best excuse. If any of them are planning on appearing or act in other dramas, they should perhaps exclude this series from their acting resume... Honestly, I have watch my fair share of BL's and I will blatantly say that this is one of the worst drama I have watch thus far. I pat myself on the back for getting through 6 episodes. I will definitely not sit through the rest of the series for my own sanity. Not worth it!Was this review helpful to you?
Terrible.
The story for this show is so confusing and made worse by the terrible English subtitles (on iQIYI at least). The character’s actions and emotions didn’t make sense 90% of the time and the editing and directing clearly didn’t help. The acting was a bit below average but not as bad as the story. The cinematography was nice and that’s really the only highlight other than Candy because she’s gorgeous. After a while I was watching just to see how they might wrap up such a mess, but episode 7 was so ridiculous I have to stop watching. I’ve watched lots of Thai BL and I suggest you not waste your time with this. Go watch some great shows like Not Me or Bad Buddy on YouTube, or KinnPorsche on iQIYI. Cutie Pie on Viki is also fantastic. I hope the actors of this show have a chance to work on something better in the future. Was this review helpful to you?
Arguably okay.
This series truly isn't as horrible as many may say it is; your taste in and expectations of dramas, especially bls, may formulate your opinion more than you may realize.Check Out wasn't BAD, but it really could've been produced better. From my perspective, there were a few scenes that could've been better or have been filmed differently--the acting just didn't look seamless nor did it feel how it probably should've unless they intended for it to be a little awkward even after minimal communication amongst the characters. The storyline in theory didn't seem weak, but the execution was indeed poor. It just felt as though we were tiptoeing around something that should've been revealed nearly 3 episodes ago--everytime. The OST wasn't my favourite either, the timing of the songs felt off--a NC scene is about to happen and you have music that doesn't match? Or was that the kind of energy they wanted it to give off? Just odd. Regardless, some scenes had music that did match when it mattered thankfully, but a vast majority of the time it just didn't sit well with me.
My biggest complaint would most definitely have to be the jumpcuts. When you get to that scene you'll know exactly what I speak of. Maybe I have misunderstood the use of jumpcuts, but the way the technique has been utilized has irked me to a state of no return. Otherwise, I don't really have many things that have thrown me off aside from the way the actors seemed to have been directed. A thumbs up to the person who was in charge of cinematography, a solid 8/10 in my book.
Overall, this show as stated in the headline is 'Arguably Okay' as I did not enjoy it much, but I am sure someone else did. I will say that if you are interested in watching it to give it up to 5 episodes (which is what I did) and then see how you feel about the content you've seen up to that point.

Too long, too slow, too thin - there's better shows out there to watch instead of this.
Some of the worst aspects of Thai BL production awfulness are on display here, and it has to be asked why did the producers think viewers would commit over 12hours of their time to a show like this? One hour episodes for this? Really??To be fair, the three leads are good actors and deserve a better script than this; writer Chim Sedthawut Inboon is credited on MDL with 5 series scripts in the last two years alone. Based on these first two episodes, they must have all been first drafts, its dialogue being almost cartoonish. Director Kapper Worarit Ninklom suffers from the newbie mistake of shooting the location instead of the drama, wanting to show off the expensive house Nine lives in rather than adding anything to the action.
And then there are the usual Thai BL suspects: bedrooms lit like ballrooms expecting us to believe the characters actually sleep in that blaze of light all night long, an upmarket house master bedroom decorated like it was a student dormitory with photos stuck on the wall, actors sitting unnaturally on couches or at table for the sake of the camera rather than to portray realism, the addition of annoying sound effects because of course we, the audience are so stupid, well we have no other way of knowing when people are behaving comedically instead of dramatically.
This show rests on one premise only: will Daonuea and Nine get it on again after their hot one night stand at the resort? For my part, I wish they would give in to their animal urges and clear lust for each other and just do it and spare us this long trawl to the last episode. And we can all get back to watching better Thai BL’s; there are plenty of them out there this year.

I've checked this out so you don't have to !
This will be maybe the shortest review i write this series is basically a 10 episode long advertisement they are acting noobs (it's so obvious) the story doesn't make sense in my head, badly delivered .good thing they didn't extend the jeep(flirting) thing more than it should .
but watching sweet handsome chahub is worth it (be honest we all did)
and unexpectedly this has several good tracks with chilling vibe

The most nonsensical pile of trash I have ever seen in my life.I only watched a few episodes, because I thought that I would get at least a tad bit better, and I was terribly wrong. The acting was below average, making me believe that the actors weren't even interested in their own roles, which I completely understand.
The plot is basically non-existent.Episode 0 was perhaps the only episode I was able to watch and not fall asleep. And even that was extremely painful to watch at certain points.
I don't even know why this was made, but I was absolute garbage.

No plot twist a total fucked up show !
I only began watching this since it seemed somewhat interestingTurned out I should have better of seen any other drama but not this. The beginning of the series was fine but everything likely got worse. There were no plot twist but the actors were fine what's wrong is the storyline. To the point where I were about to drop this for the 3rd time but still continued since when I start something I can't help but watch it till the end.
Nine and praew's relationship was total toxic. Nine only being a red flag through out the show. As some people enjoyed it, I didn't feel the show one bit
Would never rewatch it.

this series really disappointed me
it was sooo boring, i seriously tried so much to watch it but i just couldn't take it any more. i really see no reason as to why each episode took 1hr+ and all the 12 episodes were just too much especially since it seemed like there was nothing much act. anyways y'all that haven't watched it should watch it and feel the pain we felt while watching it. Daonuea being so insecure and crying and concluding so fast each time with out finding proof was sooooooooooooooôo annoying. And Tee who was always in ex's business ????????????. But anyways, ice and the other couple really helped relieve our stress each time. Was this review helpful to you?
Failed potential
The cast is good, but the storyline is so trite and simplistic that there's not much to work with. I'm watching it mainly to see how it ends but it requires persistence.I know life and relationships can be messy. However, there is something replusive about the lack of honesty by both male leads. Each of them were using there supposed partners. The storyline progression was sloppy.
This series had potential but fell woefully short of my expectations. I think the cast had more depth in their acting skills than portrayed. For some reason it just seemed sluggish and stilted. It came off as low budget. It kinda felted like a stage play that progressed from act to act with little finesse.

Story 2.0/10
Acting/Cast 8.0/10
Music 10/10

I’ve read better fanfiction.
I have asked myself ‘why am I still watching this show’ since episode 4 or 5, and I can’t give you an answer. My rating (which started as a 7) has dropped dramatically after every episode I watched.
So far this show has lacked any type of direction and is struggling to tell a simple story. Some may say “it’s only a BL” but there have been a few BL’s over the past year alone that have managed to turn the tide for the genre (Bad Buddy, KinnPorsche & Not Me).
When Check Out episode 0 aired it showed potential at being a mature BL that was moving away from the usual drivel that is produced. However, the story telling from the first episode has been weak.
If the show writers were struggling to come up with compelling characters and a story, the amount of characters should have been reduced along with the amount of episodes released. This show could have perhaps been a nice mini-series if there was decent direction for the actors and a compelling dramatic affair storyline. I’ve read better fanfiction.

I’m checking out
This show is not good. Episode 0 had everyone hyped for this series but unfortunately it has been a total let down. I am not opposed to the cheating particularly, especially as the ones being cheated aren’t great people either. It’s just a poor quality show.I’ll start with good points
1) Chahub. He does not belong in this terrible show. He’s trying really hard to promote it on social media but I honestly think he should give up and hope everyone forgets about it.
2) Boat & Candy. Both cute side characters played by insanely good looking people.
I actually thought I’d have more good points to make but alas…
Bad points
1) Sound quality. I don’t know what is going on, but this series feels like it was shot during the pandemic without someone in charge of sound.
2) Zero chemistry. Nobody has any chemistry with anyone on screen. I feel like some of the actors are trying to create chemistry but failing.
3) Best. He is cute but he cannot act. In the special episode he seemed more believable but this series has proved to me again that he is at best, a side character. I’m sorry.
4) Set/Props. Why are we only seeing such limited filming locations? Why are the advertisements that this totally amazing company are doing so utterly awful?
5) Script/Direction. Unfortunately for Kapper, because of lack of chemistry with actors, you are left with only script etc to judge the show, and unfortunately we are left wanting.
6) The Heimlich scene. This could have been funny ha ha but it was funny weird.
