Season 2 is as good as Season 1
Season 3 soonnn plsss! 😊😊😊😊😊 Last case not solved! Thank you for the excellent casts and of course Lee Je Hoon 😘😘Lee Je Hoon's versatile acting is amazingly so dashing and cute, his chemistry with rest of the casts is so good!!! Most part of the eps are real-life cases are an eye-opener and current 😍😍😍 The drama's format remain consistent with S1, no draggy moments. The director deliberately cut off some fighting scenes to focus action stunts with more important roles.
Spoiler: the last "confession" Pyo Ye-Jin made is abit weird tho~~ Going to miss Kim Do Ki spitting rice!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

An interesting take on justice
I watched both seasons simultaneously and I have to say this drama kept my attention intact. The best part of this drama is definitely the cast.
Lee Je Hoon as kim Doki was the best part of taxi driver. No one could have done this better than him.
Pyo ye jin as Goeun and her chemistry with Le JeHoon was worth watching. I would like to see them more in season 3.
Special mention to Shin Jae Ha because playing a villain always brings lots of hatred and criticism. Hajun was definitely a villain who brought out hatred, pity, sympathy and disgust. His death was still sad especially his last memories
Lastly the other supporting casts were good and did justice to their roles.
I hope season 3 is officially announced because i can't wait to watch it

Better than season 1
Normally when Kdramas have another season they usually end up being a disappointment, but that's not the case with Taxi Driver. Everything from the plot, to action and comedy were done perfectly. This season had a different dynamic than the first, the cases, although they didn't seem like it, were connected, and the culmination came in the last two episodes. The whole cast did such a fantastic job, especially Lee Je-Hoon who showed what it means to be a versatile actor in this series. Lastly, I just want to say that this is easily one of the best Kdramas of the year so far. Just a high standard drama that I highly recommend. Was this review helpful to you?

my review
I really enjoyed the tandem of Park Ji-eon and Choi Gyeong-gu in Taxi Driver. Even though they sometimes have only a short screen time, they manage to be incredibly entertaining. Their scenes are super funny, and they have this natural way of bouncing lines off each other that makes you laugh without trying too hard. Their humor feels effortless, and their expressions and small actions are so cute and hilarious at the same time. They have great chemistry — just a look or a short line between them can already make the scene lively. I honestly wish they had even more screen time together, with longer scenes where they can keep exchanging lines, because they’re so fun to watch and they really brighten up every episode they’re in.I also really liked the character of Kim Do-ki. He has a strong and serious personality, but you can feel the warmth and pain he carries inside. His calm attitude while dealing with heavy emotions makes him very captivating. His action scenes are intense, yet he shows deep care for the victims, which makes his character admirable.
The female hacker adds another layer of fun and charm to the team. She’s incredibly skilled with computers, very intelligent, and her playful personality lightens up many serious moments. She balances the group with her wit and confidence.
The CEO is also a standout character. She has a mysterious yet powerful presence, with elegance and strength that hold the team together. Her leadership and determination for justice give the story direction and depth.
I also love the storyline of Taxi Driver. It’s exciting, meaningful, and full of surprisingly emotional moments. The plot twists are one of the best parts — they’re shocking, unpredictable, and always keep you curious about what’s coming next, so the show never feels boring.
Overall, the hilarious tandem of Park Ji-eon and Choi Gyeong-gu, the strong characters, realistic acting, great chemistry, amazing storyline, and unexpected plot twists all made Taxi Driver incredibly enjoyable to Watch.

Pure cinema
Listen, guys—Season 2 doesn’t just deserve a watch... it’s mandatory viewing. From the new character intros to the way they weave in real-life stories seamlessly, this is hands down the best season yet. You’ll honestly want to binge the whole thing in one sitting. Also, the emotional moments? They hit hard. Was this review helpful to you?
Season 1 was better as season 2 became lower quality
To my surprised Taxi Driver season 2 is rated 8.9 vs 8.8 season 1 as of writing this review. Now Season 1 is one I liked because I'm a simple lad, it got action and it got a decent story not hard to follow.
Season 2 I started watching it and I was so disinterested because what they do in season 2 shows how low quality it is which is they skip fight scenes. They just imply there was a fight in multiple instances and there was a fight scene that just made no sense like there was no choreography done and they just told him to fight like a thug.
I assume there's budget reasons for this.
The other problem I have with the story is the story doesn't focus on a lot of relatable grievances but there was one that I assume it was to emulate the big story that blew up in South Korea.
The biggest issue is the cabal concept which is just like it just doesn't feel as strong as season 1 but the music is always great and the actors deliver. It's an okay series but definitely not stronger than season 1.
I will watch season 3 in hopes they bring back more action pack scenes but this show has turned more into like The Blacklist to where it had a strong start but I will only continue watching because I like one of the characters which is the nerdy girl in the van which deserves way more screen time.

THE BEST KDRAMA FOREVER
Top-tier cast & chemistry – The cast brings energy and heart, especially the rainbow-fueled bromance and undercover vibes between Do-gi and Go-eun.Packed with action & social punch – From car chases to betrayals, the show doesn’t shy from intense fight scenes—and it grounds them in real-world issues like scams, abuse, and corruption.
Emotionally compelling cases – Each episode brings a new case that’s relatable, cathartic, and often delivers a satisfying twist where justice feels earned.
New character brings depth – On Ha-joon’s backstory as a brainwashed orphan turned stooge for the Bishop adds gravity and tragic complexity.
Ratings & buzz – The finale broke peaks, setting new records for SBS Friday–Saturday dramas. A season 3 is already confirmed.

always excited for this drama
After being fully satisfied with watching Taxi Driver Season 1, I continued to Season 2 with high expectations, and it did not disappoint. Season 2 feels more mature and refined, with a broader scope of cases and even stronger emotional impact. The story expands beyond individual revenge missions and shows how the Rainbow Taxi team faces bigger enemies and more complex moral dilemmas. Each case is still gripping, but the scale and intensity are noticeably elevated.Lee Je-hoon once again delivers an outstanding performance as Kim Do-gi, showing deeper layers of his character, from quiet determination to emotional vulnerability. The chemistry among the Rainbow Taxi members remains solid and heartwarming, making their teamwork even more satisfying to watch. The drama also improves its action scenes, making them more thrilling and visually engaging, while still maintaining a strong focus on storytelling. What makes Season 2 truly compelling is its balance between action, emotion, and social criticism. It continues to highlight injustices that often go unpunished, giving viewers a sense of catharsis and reflection at the same time. Overall, Taxi Driver Season 2 successfully builds on the strengths of Season 1 and proves that the story still has a powerful message to deliver, making it a highly rewarding continuation of the series.

If you see that S1 is better than S2 you don't know how to watch revenge/action dramas
okay, to start with, I have seen many people comparing the Season 1 and Season 2 together which is very wrong in many ways:1) " Taxi Driver" is going in a series path that can have at least 5 to 6 seasons! you can't compare each season with the one before it! it should be a continuation of the main point of the drama which is "taking revenge for different people".
2) the term "revenge" and taking revenge companies in Kdrama or any drama world, mainly consist of several situations that the writer and actors make us live it with them and solve it with them! it's naturally to have a lot of cases that are related or not related to each other in the series! which is what Season 2 served us instead of season 1!
3) here comes my most important point of view: season 2 was perfectly developed, written and done. on the contrary of season 1 which only gave us two revenge stories and the rest of the episodes got a little bit boring up to the last few episodes that got a little bit exciting again.
Season 2 got that exciting stories that keeps you attached to your seat and got your eyes glued to the screen waiting to what is going to happen next! that is the excitement that should be present in a revenge/action drama and season 2 served is it just perfectly! I enjoyed the return of "Madam Lim" in this season hahahaha "Wang Tao Tzi" did her so much wrong hahahaha.
I rarely give a 10/10 to dramas but "TAXI DRIVER 2" is definitely one of those rare dramas that got me living inside of it literally and forgetting about the world around me. it's one of dramas that I wished it lasted longer than just 16 episodes, they are really not enough.....
I would not say anything about S2 because every single moment of it is exciting and stressing that I would be spoiling it to you xd
* Actors and Acting skills * :
I came to watch Taxi driver in general for it's genre (as I am a hardcore fan and expert of the action/thriller dramas) I have watched some of the works of the main leads such as Kim Euisung, Jang Hyukjin and Bae Yooram, but the surprise of the series was no one but LEE JEHOON for me !!!!
I haven't watched any of the actor's works before as it seems he only do the romance/drama series; but finally he did "Taxi Driver" so I can discover such a very talented man! He is an ace Thespian! he did more than 10characthers in one drama, and he nailed each one of them!!! I am so in love with his facial expressions and very talented acting skills! wishing he would make more and more action dramas/movies <3
all the other actors did a very great job as well! I am mostly in love with Bae Yooram character (AKA MR.PARK) <3 <3 the taking revenge/working together squads are my favorite and Rainbow squad has become my top favorite action squad <3
finally, I would say that no matter how much I talk about this drama I can't express how perfect and great it is! that I could watch it over and over again! simply put it's A MASTERPIECE in the action/thriller drama world. <3

regain my faith in humanity
i watched this show after a long time of pushing it back as i was scared that if i complete seson2 then there is no more season left to watch but when i finally watched it i was reminded of why i liked taxi driver in the first place. The cast work together so perfectly like a family and there is no awkwardness and the story is very well planned which keeps you engaged throughout the drama it's a must watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Taxi Driver 2 — Buckle Up, Justice Is Coming (With Style)
This drama is a total blast on wheels! 🚖💥Lee Je-hoon returns as Kim Do-gi — calm, cool, and basically a one-man justice machine with killer disguises. Honestly, this man can out-cosplay Comic-Con and still punch bad guys in the face with class.
The whole Rainbow Taxi crew is back and funnier than ever. Pyo Ye-jin’s hacker skills? Sharp. Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram’s bromance? Unmatched. Kim Eui-sung as the boss? The perfect blend of shady and wise.
Each episode serves up karma hot and fast — corrupt CEOs, bullies, and scammers beware. The revenge is creative, the stunts are slick, and the jokes land right between the gut punches.
If you want justice, laughs, undercover wigs, and some action that slaps — this is your ride.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Would take this taxi again. No meter needed.
