adopted brothers who haven't spoken for the past 12 years, some how find love
The average for this one was 8.75 stars out of 10 stars. So I rounded down to an 8.5 stars out of 10 stars. I don't know what my headline is going to be yet. This was a light watch with a mid-plot. I am going to see what my reviews are for the episodes and just overanalyze because there's literally nothing else I can talk about. The show jumped around a lot, like huge time skips that left me confused as fuck. They could have filled them in, added a few more episodes, and pulled on our heartstrings some more. The acting was also pretty mid, but that's fine. Usually the plot makes up for it, but this time it didn't, sadly. Okay.Starting off, it was a pretty cutesy show. I already knew it was going to be light work. Haebom's actor was a cutie, and I fell in love with him and the vibe of his character. We had some adopted brothers who hadn't had actual conversations since they were literal children. That was interesting because they were not even talking to each other at home or at school. I could tell one of them thought of the other as more than just an adopted brother, just because of the awkward tension and vibes the two of them gave off.
I would have finished this sooner, but work sucks. I started this 11 hours ago today, and then episode 2 three hours ago. We met Haebom's "friends" the two annoying motherfuckers. One who outmatched the other one in annoyingness. I could tell what Haebom's character was just by the way he was being treated by those two, the way he thought, and the way the people around him looked at him.
I was thinking that the whole Haebom going to college thing was going to be an issue because they brought it up like five times. It wasn't, which is good, I guess. We find out that Taesung has a crush on our baby, and I thought it was going to be the other way around for sure. The headline goes crazy; I just made it. It was some one-sided childhood romance on top of a high school trope. So they were just smacking tropes in here, lol.
The mom. I love her, but I could tell she was going to be a problem in the future because of the way she worries. That was the prediction I got right; the other ones I didn't get right. Then the high school phased out so fast that I didn't even know that they were going to college or university already. That made me very confused.
The two of them work themselves out and figure it out. And keep going, which was good, because I hate when we are waiting on the couple to work their shit out and not other people trying to tear them apart. That just gets on my nerves.
I was manifesting their downfall for some reason. I am going to bring it up again because they needed to explain the jump. Bro was like, Yeah, I talked to my dad. Who we didnt even see and the moms said no. And tae is like I am moving out and taking haebom. And the mom just lets them. Like what? Some confusing ass shit
The mom was unintentionally ruining them because of keeping secrets and all that jazz. In the end, she just wanted the best for them. So good for her. just poorly executed. Yeah, that's kind of it.
The ending was mid, but it was a short show that was cute and easy to watch. I liked the visuals and the vibes; just the plot and acting were mediocre, like the ending. That's really it. Okay bye!

Fluff, Flat, Forced
The story in Cherry blossoms after winter could have been interesting in some ways, however it doesn't work at all here. The dialogue, set environments and overall interactions between characters felt forced, flat, most of the time unnatural and not believable. The tropes and interactions are very cliche and cringey at times, and the story between the two leads feels very unfulfilling and spontaneous with the background we're given. I'll give some props to the lead actors for the amount of chemistry they were able to have at some points being there were some decently romantic moments, however the overall performances felt very mundane. I don't want to say it was the acting exclusively because the script was very clearly low quality. Any conflict felt too quickly solved, everything in general felt too sudden and more often than not, boring. The only story line that felt somewhat interesting was with the mother's, and even then It could have been done a lot better. If what you are interested in is an untraditional BL that involves "brothers" falling in love like Cherry Blossoms, I'd highly recommend "Unknown", a Tai BL adapted from the "Da Ge" Novel by Priest, which I also recommend. A way more interesting plot with heavy themes, lots of character depth, a believable world and love story; it really is on another level than Cherry Blossoms. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Cherry blossoms after winter, but if you're into fluffy romance and don't mind a very predictable, cliche, flat production then knock yourself out I guess.Was this review helpful to you?
Worth the watch
I already completed reading the manhwa with the same title. The plot and story is completely pure, cute and fluffy.As of now, after watching the first episode, I found the same adaption from manhwa and drama is quite fast paced.
I am very excited to see the characters (from manhwa) in persons and I found every character played their roles well. Acting is to the point. No awkwardness.
For those who are not aware of the genre.. ITS BL💜

As a huge fan of BL, I really loved the manhwa and drama (ep 1) as well.
Though it may seem a bit early to give good review just watching first episode, I can guarantee that its worth the watch.

Plots coreanos quase sempre surpreendem, até mesmo quando são clichês eles inovam. Normalmente o plot de irmãos que se apaixonam vem de pais que se casam quando já tem filhos, mas nesse caso a "irmandade" veio de forma diferente. A história tem uma dose de drama, mas que não é incômoda, assustadora, é apenas um pouco de tempero em meio à tanta fofurice. Não cheguei a ver o webtoon, mas vi as críticas que são excelentes. Como já é um padrão coreano as séries com poucos e curtos eps, geralmente a história gira em torno de um núcleo central, até pq não fica muito tempo para desenvolver outros núcleos, algumas séries ate conseguem, mas é perigoso...Apesar de muito simples, essa série nos encanta e envolve muito, os dois atores principais nasceram pra esses personagens, mas todo o elenco tem muita química também, a atuação de todos é excelente.
Essa série BL é surpreendente! Ela apresenta uma história encantadora e leve, mesmo abordando temas mais sérios. Embora haja alguns problemas, isso não prejudica o enredo como um todo. Apesar de ser uma série curta e com uma produção mais simples, ela transmite momentos adoráveis e emocionantes. Fiquei completamente apaixonado pela série e recomendo sem hesitação! Assisti logo depois de ler o webtoon, e fiquei muito satisfeito em ver que a adaptação é fiel e mantém a qualidade da obra original. O clichê de personagens com personalidades diferentes é visível
Jo Tae Sung enfrenta dificuldades na comunicação, mas revela sua gentileza, à medida que compreendemos seus motivos e nos conectamos a ele. Seo Hae Bom é delicado e sensível, porém também é trabalhador e resiliente. Ambos os personagens demonstram como as pessoas podem ser diferentes dependendo do contexto em que se encontram, e eles se complementam de maneira muito bonitinha. Embora não sejam perfeitos, lidam muito bem um com o outro e formam um casal muito fofo. A atuação não é impecável, mas ainda assim é agradável e não compromete a história. A questão familiar não é algo problemático ao extremo, os amigos são os melhores, e afora alguns erros na continuidade, não tenho reclamações. O bônus é ver o valentão da trama se dando mal e levando um belo cacete!
Não há como não recomendar essa série maravilhosa, amo demais, desde a ost, fotografia, filmografia, enredo, locações, tudo é lindo...

Questa storia non verrà etichettata come "la mia BL preferita" da nessuno, ma devo ammettere che è comunque godevole, senza troppe pretese.Ammetto di aver iniziato a leggere il manhwa da cui è stato tratto il titolo e i personaggi, ma già sapevo che una BL coreana non poteva sostenere lo stesso tenore del toon... ma non ne sono delusa! Questo mini drama non ha un budget elevato, ma non giustifica alcune interazioni un po' imbarazzanti; non so perché non si sia fatta abbastanza punta agli atti di bullismo - che cessa solo quando Taesung controbatte con altra violenza? No, non mi piace il messaggio.
Ma tutto sommato è una storia carina, non ha molte pretese, solo due ragazzi che capiscono i propri sentimenti e cercano di andare avanti. Secondo me, con un budget più alto, con più episodi, poteva essere veramente una chicca. Ovviamente riassumere una storia di +100 capitoli in 8 episodi comportava un grosso ridimensionamento, ma tutto sommato questa serie si può guardare nel chill più totale!
La consiglio se non avete nulla da vedere al momento ^^

Una historia corta y sencilla con una pareja cálida
Hay drama con acoso escolar, celos, peleas y conflictos internos y familiares, pero todos se resuelven rápido, no da lugar para tanto sufrimiento.Aunque tiene detalles que no me gustaron, los protagonistas se desenvuelven con una naturalidad que atrapa por completo, lucen muy cómodos en sus escenas como pareja.
Mención especial para las paletas de colores que usaron, en específico las de las secuencias dentro del hogar de los chicos. Amo esas tonalidades y me dan serenidad, lo cual iba acorde a la historia.

É FOFO MAS NÃO É GRANDE COISA
Esse é um romance fofo entre 2 meninos que vivem na mesma coisa e foram criados como irmãos mas na verdade eles se amam. Eu amo essa premissa e acho fofo quando eles estão juntos mas eu sinto mais amor do que paixão entre eles.O que estrega muitas histórias pra mim é como a intimidade de casal não é construída na relação, parece bobo e eu me sinto assistindo um bromance. E é exatamente isso que acontece aqui.
Algumas cenas são legais e criam uma boa construção mas logo depois vem uma sequencia de cenas mais ou menos ou até mesmo ruins (não quero dar spolers), até a hora em que eles assumem a relação pra mãe eu não sinto muita paixão entre eles e isso é um problema pra mim, estraga minha experiência e eu me sinto vendo um romance entre duas crianças (culpa principal do Seo Hae Bom).
Enfim, não é pra mim.

Um BL leve, curto e perfeito
Me surpreendi muito com a Coreia com esse BL, a história é simples mas não é comum, dois amigos de infância que começaram a morar juntos e começaram a se amar de forma romântica. Até o momento é um dos melhores BL's que eu já assisti, a produção é bem simples, os episódios são poucos e curtos, mas eles conseguiram entregar um dorama perfeito com um ótimo roteiro em apenas 8 episódios. Apesar de poucos episódios eles souberam equilibrar bem os acontecimentos e nada ficou muito corrido ou incompleto, a história do Tae Sung e do Hae Bom é muito fofa e doce, mas mesmo assim os diretores não romantizaram totalmente o relacionamento dos dois e eu achei isso ótimo! Eles mostraram as dificuldades que os dois enfrentaram mas mostraram também que eles conseguiram resolver as coisas de uma forma saudável e madura, gostei muito também da forma que desenvolveram o relacionamento dos dois e a forma como as pessoas ao redor deles reagiram a seus relacionamentos, afinal sabemos que em uma relação fora do padrão nem tudo vão ser flores, mas mesmo assim eles não pesaram o clima da história e mostraram que não tem nada de errado com a relação dos dois.Oque eu mais gostei além dos protagonistas terem sua própria história, foi a mãe do Tae Sung, achei que ela teve uma história incrível e complexa, e souberam desenvolver a personagem muito bem.
Como disse no começo dessa review a produção é simples, mas não tira a magia do BL, eles conseguiram utilizar muito bem seus recursos e achei que o dorama tem uma ótima qualidade. Os atores são incríveis e gostei bastante de conhecer o trabalho deles, eles tiveram lindos momentos juntos e conseguiram tirar grandes sorrisos de mim com vários momentos fofos e emocionantes.
Recomendo muito!!

Drama boy loves molto carino,leggero dolce e sentimentale.Parla di un primo amore con una dolcezza inimmaginabile e loro due sono tremendamente belli.
Per me che sono alle prime visioni di bl è stato un bellissimo drama ho apprezzato la dolcezza con il quale viene affrontato un primo approccio tra due giovanni ragazzi.Molto belli i loro momenti di tenerezza e i baci sono di una dolcezza unica.Attori protagonisti belli e bravi e pure i ruoli di supporto mi sono piaciuti sopratutto la madre.
Una piacevole scoperta questo bl e una piacevole visione, per me merita di essere visto poi sono solo otto puntate di circa 25minuti,scorre veloce che nemmeno te ne accorgi che è già finito.
