A light-hearted drama!
I'm not usually a fan of romance dramas, and I prefer heavier dramas. That being said this was a very light hearted drama and nice change of pace.Overall I enjoyed watching the drama (the female lead got on my nerves a couple of times, but her character would redeam herself by the end of the episode - at least for my tastes). The other three lead characters were enjoyable to watch and their characters were interesting and engaging. Overall, everyones acting was very good, there were just some character flaws/traits in Ji-eun's character that irked me.
If you want a drama, that has minimal drama in it and just want a light hearted romance story, this is the drama for you.

their friendship is the best and so cute!!! you'll love it!!!
This drama shows you many scenes that can happen in real life, but above all how friendship despite everything is something that keeps us connected and is like our daily support in our busy and complicated lives.you probably identify with some actors character, for example I identify with woomin sometimes you're not sure about something and you realize it late but that's what it's about learning from your mistakes and trying again (to the actor who played woomin I fell in love with you I hope see you more in this industry).
I liked the theme of fashion industry because it's so glamorous and it felt great to see a little piece of that industry.
and remember friends can be place where u can find ur answer or just a little place to cry but be safe too !!!

The Mediocre
Was very excited for this show after seeing the trailer since Chae Soobin is one of my favorite actresses. Of course Minho caught my interest as well! In the end, the show is mediocre and the plot is not that interesting, and with only 8 episodes and quite a large cast, it just fails to deliver any real emotion or characters with depth.Like the characters had the potential to be interesting, but I feel like trying to fit this many character storylines and conflicts into one 8 ep series didn’t work. Found myself wishing they spent a bit more time on the ML and FL relationship instead of some of the other storylines in order to at least make their relationship more impactful.
That being said, the main relationship didn’t work for me. Soobin and Minho had potential for great chemistry, but the writing and plot progression ruined it for them. The FL starting off the show by cheating on her then boyfriend was kinda weird to be honest, and her trying to play it off so non-chalantly was even weirder (not really setup for a likeable FL). I feel like they were trying to go for a more ‘mature’ feel to the show by doing this. The ML spends the entirety of the show chasing after the FL even after being brutally rejected. This didn’t really make sense to me, and it really hurt the emotional aspect of their relationship and the eventual payoff at the end when the FL is supposed to realize her feelings for the ML because there was no push and pull. It was just the ML simping for the FL the whole time, even when he’s rejected he just shrugs it off by claiming it’s more fun to be rejected at first or something? They could’ve at least spent more time after the rejection to show how bad it made him feel, and maybe make him avoid the FL for a bit just to give the opportunity for the FL to realize her feelings? I just feel like the whole ML being so persistent the entire show didn’t make for a compelling buildup to the relationship. The stakes felt very one sided. Meanwhile the FL spends a good portion of the show being depressed because there are two (at one point three) guys chasing after her.
FL’s character was rather shallow and kinda annoying at times. Cheating on her then boyfriend with her ex, lying about it, constantly rejecting the ML while getting back together with her other ex while at the same time having feelings for the ML. She then dumps her boyfriend and like five minutes later ends up getting together with the ML? Just didn’t seem right to me, the timing is all off. Also the ML has very little character to begin with. He literally spends the entire show chasing after the FL and doing everything she asks, but when it comes down to it, he had nothing else to his character except for his feelings for her. He’s supposed to be a photographer, but that’s barely shown or addressed throughout the show, and even the side characters had more individual character development than the ML. Feel like they could’ve done a lot more with the ML’s character and backstory, and maybe given him something more other than the FL to drive his character.
Side characters were okay and fun. Joseph was entertaining and a fun character, as well as the model friend. Some of the scenes, especially the conclusions near the end were very cliche and wrapped up a little too nicely to be realistic, but oh well it is just a show. Minkyu’s character was a little annoying at first because he seemed kinda forced into the plot and his eccentric personality didn’t seem very realistic, but he gets a little better throughout the show, although I do think his character wasn’t really necessary.
You could probably skip this show and not miss out on much. But some people may find it enjoyable enough, especially if you don’t care as much about deep character development or relationships. It’s a rather short series so if you’re debating on watching it you might as well give it a try!

Realistic and diverse stories
One thing I really loved about this drama is how positive, welcoming and loving all the families are. You don’t need to explain “why” they are so encouraging, because healthy family support is normal. It doesn’t mean the characters aren’t written well, but its written realistically. From Jieun’s dad letting her be independent but always checking on her, to Seonho’s parents being supportive in their own way and always encouraging her, to Joseph’s mom being his biggest fan and always involved in helping him. There are queer stories too. One being basically soulmates but one side’s family not being supportive. Whereas Joseph has always been seen and loved for who he is by his family and friends.
I’m not that into fashion but the dialogues really hit me when they were taking about their passion for their jobs and why they think its important in society.
I like that not everyone is going through the same things. If one person is sad, the others may be really happy. It felt so real (lmao). I liked that the main leads didn’t have some crazy love story, but its so normal. They’re high school sweethearts, the best of friends, and they just never fell out of love after their breakup. I literally have friends like that lol.
Lastly, I have to say, the finale runway was just amazing. From the concept, to design, to the clothes and the models, I was blown away. I got goosebumps when Seonho walked in that finale dress.
So I’d definitely recommend this drama for laughs, cute romantic moments and warm friendships!

Feel Good Drama.. I enjoyed the drama..
First episode I felt bit westernized.. But I was totally immersed in the drama since episode 3.. Drama got better with every episode.. Pyo jieun and Ji woomin flashbacks were so cute.. Leads have a great chemistry.. ML character is realistic.. You might misunderstand the lead characters initially.. but you will understand them in the later episodes.. Every character is so loveable.. I loved the friendship between main casts.. Also production for fashion shows are so good.. It's a eye candy.. Got to know what happens behind the scenes of fashion industry.. I strongly recommend..Was this review helpful to you?

A Foursome of Friends strives to be Fabulous in the Fashion Industry
This is a simple, yet engaging series that gives a peek into Korea’s fashion industry. What holds this show together is the friendships between the four leads. They’re all 20 somethings either working to find or maintain success in the fashion industry. Their friendship is endearing as they support each other through their triumphs and struggles. The career storylines floated between the monotony of the day the day for those working in the fashion industry, but also spiced things up with demanding celebrities, strategic failures and business relationships overlapping with personal entanglements, which resulted in a few awkward situations.
The love story at the center of the series was okay. Woo-min and Ji-eun were certainly cute together and the will they won’t they had some entertainment value, but I honestly didn’t get why Woo-min broke up with her in the first place. I enjoyed their friendship more than their romance. The storyline with Ji-eun’s boyfriend (Nam-Jin)then ex-boyfriend, then boyfriend again was one of the worst plot contrivances I’ve seen in a while. He broke up with her early in the series. It wasn’t just a break up, but what he said to her during the breakup. He was cold and condescending. He basically told her she wasn’t good enough for him. Then not even a week after he breaks it off, he’s desperate to get her back because he realizes she’s “different just like he suspected.” Ji-eun takes him back because she wants to “make it work.” Why? Is beyond me considering what he said to her when he broke off the relationship and her not seeming to be all that into him in the first place, considering she cheated on him with Woo-min. It was obvious their reunion was solely to stall the ship that was Ji-eun/Woo-min, which is not unheard of in a romance drama but this was poorly written.
The storyline with Doo-young was pointless. The character and the stuff he got up to was only there to fill out the hour of the episodes. I get what the writers were trying to do with him, show a character’s initial entry into the fashion industry as the other characters already had some type of established career in the industry. But though the actor was cute, he did not have the face or charisma that made him becoming a model believable. Moreover, he was meant to be comic relief but more often that not he was too chipper, and just annoying. Lol.
I liked Seon-ho the best. She was tough, yet could be vulnerable. She didn’t take any sh*t from anyone. I like that when her successful modeling career started to wane she was proactive in thinking about what was next for her professionally once her modeling career was completely over. What was disappointing was the writers backed off this story thread having her miraculously revive her modeling career after being blacklisted. I think it would’ve been more interesting had we seen her go all the way in exploring a new career away from modeling.
The eight episodes were just enough, and really I think they could’ve tightened the storylines and stopped at episode 6. This is a fairly entertaining and feel good series. If you’re looking to watch something that’s light with basic storylines and minimal drama, you might like this.

Watch it for Minho - no plot, just vibes :3
I think it is important to set expectations before you start watching this drama. Dont expect an intelligent plot or fleshed out characters. Suspension of disbelief is also key. Instead, prepare yourself for beautiful cinematography, great outfits and excellent visuals. If you are a fan of Minho, thats probably the only way you will be able to breeze through this drama like I did. Minho's beautiful face and steamy scenes with FL is the only saving grace. I wouldn't say he is the best actor though and some of his emotional scenes are delivered in a flat monotone but he looks amazingly chiseled and his face and skin tone isn't all whitewashed - which seems to be getting increasingly rare in recent kdramas. The storyline is all over the place and it is hard to like the characters or support the choices they make. Which is fine, not every character needs to be "likeable" but the grey areas of human characteristics need to be explored for it to be considered a good script. The FL is particularly boring and it is not clear as to what motivates or drives her. She is repeatedly described as "career driven" but the work she does is the most vapid, meaningless work there is. At one point she talks about how the basis of human existence is clothing, food and shelter and because she works in the fashion industry she is contributing towards that basic need - that reasoning alone is enough to show how stupid and superficial the script is lol. Her personal life is also a bit messy since she starts off by cheating with her bf and is fully intent on lying about it only to be dumped by her bf because he doesnt think they are a good match. Except he comes back a few episodes later, claiming he broke up with her to "test" her and actually he does like her after all. It is almost comical that the FL hesitates but starts dating him again simply because the leads cannot get together again this early into the drama. The rest of the drama is about the FL rekindling her relationship with the ML who is her ex turned friend except it is never explored as to why they broke up in the first place. Something about the ML not being very vocal about his feelings?? Except he seems to be the show not tell kind of guy and literally goes out of his way to do all sorts of chores/work stuff for the FL. It is also vaguely mentioned that the ML lacks "passion" bc he works as a photographer on a freelance/part time basis - yet he still owns an expensive looking apartment of his own but like I said, you need to suspend disbelief. Oh and another aspiring model not originally part of the main friendship/ensemble group is randomnly inserted into the drama and he starts living with the ML for some reason????? Honestly couldnt follow the plot at all. It was just messy with random people popping in and out simply to add the "com" in this romcom.
Ultimately the only thing we learn from this drama is that these people are rich, pretty and entitled. A lot of the conflict and setbacks they face are also borne out of their own impulsive actions or for silly reasons that are quickly resolved or cast aside. The other two characters are also pretty forgettable and one dimensional. The model's friendship with the ML, as a male/female friendship without any romantic subtext, was refreshing to see and had a lot of potential but was not fleshed out because much of the screen time is dedicated to the FL's nonsensical work woes. The SML (Joseph) was also reduced to a stereotypical gay designer used for comic relief.
In the end though, you know these rich pretty people will continue to breeze through life and magically get opportunities in this supposedly cut throat and competitive world of fashion. All will be fine in the end and I guess there is solace in that. Though I do wish the characters were actually worth rooting for. Still, I love Minho and his character had the whole puppy dog love down pat which was endearing to see but the object of his affection was not someone I cared for.
I am giving this a high rating because it is easy to breeze through bc of Minhoo and his chemistry with the FL. The rewatch value is also high because I will deffo go back and watch his cute scenes with FL. I also liked that the FL broke up with her bf as soon as the ML confessed and they didnt beat out the bush too much - though I think we are supposed to ignore the fact that she cheated on her BF and never told him the truth even after she got back with him. She could've chosen to tell him when he was pursuing her again and she seemed irritated by it. Anyway, I already complained about the plot so all this seems repetitive. Watch it if you can get past the cringe and the bonkers plot line. MINHO SARANGE ?

A Fun and light drama
I binged watched this show in one go. The first episode caught me by surprise with so many incredible things happening and I fell in love with the main characters instantly. The chemistry between the actors is amazing, not only the romantic couple but within the group of friends, you can really enjoy their interaction and feel like you're part of the team. I loved how we follow their struggles in the world of fashion. Ji-woomin (the main lead) was my favourite, we follow him finding something he is passionate about and finally following his dreams.Overall it was a light drama, perfect for those who wish to escape reality for a minute and have a good time. Definitely worth the watch!

Not as good as I thought it would be sadly & MAJOR annoying characters
Well, I was quite excited for this drama- Minho, Chae Soobin and the storyline all seemed great. Idk maybe I had too high of expectations but I didn't really enjoyed it as much and almost dropped it tbh.First, I'm not a big fan of the FL's character; she just gave very bad vibes- first she cheated on her BF and acts like nothing happened when they get back together; like this was just glanced over. I mean obviously the writers had the two leads sleep together again for the plot but it just didn't make sense... And secondly I didn't really like the way they portrayed her when she was working- she always got backlash, was always taking other peoples shit and she never like stood up for herself???? Anyways, did not like Chae Soobin in this series- liked her way better in Rookie Cops.
And Minho was the same lmao I LOVE HIM but he wasn't that great in this series...um idk if his character was just flat or he's just bad at acting??? But the ML was boring and tbh the two didn't really give off chemistry as a couple.
UGH and seriously all the other characters were so annoying, they were so over dramatic!!! I almost had to stop watching cause of how bad it was.
The only characters I really loved were Seonho- she gave BADASS WOMAN VIBES and I loved it!! ALSO her new BF way better than her ex. I also adored Joseph and his assistant JD, their work relationship is goals. And I love Joseph's mom, she's literally so sweet and supportive!!!
LASTLY can we give some love to the SML because I would of chosen him tbh lol. He was so sweet to the FL. It's actually quite sad how people aren't over their exs and they start new relationships but in reality, they're not 100% into their current relationship...AND that was basically the story of the FL LOL.
