Eye rollingly bad!!
This is absolutley, one of the worst if not the worst Kdrama's I have ever watched. The FL Ji Eun unlikeable and rude. The Joseph character behaved like an insolent 5 year old the entire series. The Shim Do Young character is completely unnecessary. Everything about the character is so random and nonsensical. I have never watched a show where the majority of the mains are unlikeable. The main characters are the most vapid 30 somethings that I have seen in a long time and maybe that was the point but there was no character development for anyone except Ye Seon Ho and barely.I started watching b/c of Minho and he's so bland and boring here. Also, something about his makeup was off putting. I actually would have preferred the FL staying with her boyfriend from the begining of the series even though she ********SPOILER ALERT***** (it's not really important to the story though) cheated on him.
This was 8 epsiodes that I thought would be a fun and cute binge watch but it was so disappointing!

It's worth the 8 episodes and worth ur time trust me ?
For those people who know how to appreciate every kdrama no matter the plot and the fact that ur favourite actress and actor are in it this kdrama it's worth someones time it teaches about the fashion industry how u should strive n work towards ur dreams no matter the hardships it comes with it ..it also shows that u should surround urself with people who ur gonna support each other throughout every step the plot was also beautiful teaches a lot n the friendship they had it made me wish to have close friends who we lift each other up rather than hangout in groups n all we do is party but when it comes to our dreams nobody is genuinely there for u it's such an amazing kdrama teaches a lot I really learnt a lot from my perspective trust me it's worth ur time if ur a person who appreciates the plot twist of every kdrama no matter the genre of course we smiled with them n also cried with them but throughout it...its worth watching but of course everyone has there own opinion I wrote my review based on what I liked about the kdrama why don't u watch n see if it's really worth ur time ? I mean if u liked Now We Are Breaking Up why wouldn't u like this one although the plot twist is almost.... almost similar but each kdrama always has it own story to tellWas this review helpful to you?
Glamorous but not all Fabulous
I’ve been waiting for this drama for a while. I’m a huge Shawol as they are my ult and Choi Minho is a part of it. He’s such a charming guy on and off screen, and I am supporting his works where ever they are. All the content with him in it I will devour, he deserves that from me. For this drama I want it to be a 10/10 but it’s not. Still it’s not as bad as people are saying it is. People all have their different tastes but to rate a drama you have to think about what it is trying to do over what you want it to be.This drama is about the fashion industry and right away is is very glamorous and pretty to look at. All the sets shine and there is not a bad angle for anyone in this show. If you want a gritty melodrama you will not find that here. At the beginning you know what you are getting into with the relationship drama, and if you don’t like that then don’t watch it. Personally I’m not a fan of that, but I’m rating based off what this drama accomplishes for itself. It tells the story of adults in the fashion industry and goes over their relationship issues- it’s not trying to be super dark or tell a big story. People being upset about the ‘slow’ or boring natures of the show just need to stay away from these dramas as a whole. It’s a slice of life type show without too much of an overarching plot unless you see it within the relationships of the characters.
The acting is good for who the characters are. Chae Soobin is given a character who is very ambitious but makes a lot of mistakes. She is too ambitious and chaotic for her own good at times. With that character she acts the role of Ji Eun very well. I don’t necessarily like her character too much, I don’t even like Minho’s character too much. Not all dramas are going to be about perfect people, they were an old fling and have a lot of chemistry. Minho’s character Woomin is charming for some of it, but he still is possessive for others. He’s not the total green flag that I really want Choi Minho to play. But he is Woomin, and he really sells that because I get disappointed in him even though his face is Choi Minho’s.
I am surprised no one is talking about the things this drama is showing that are very good for Korea. It has a successful gay male lead who isn’t a stereotype, he’s got talent and he isn’t looked down upon for his sexuality. It barely is brought up, he is an actual character other than a prop.
The OST’s are there. Especially at the end of the first episode. I really like the ending of each episode as they aren’t too much of a cliffhanger. You can binge this show easily as it stops the story and sets it up in the next episode, with that being said you can watch this any time without bingeing also.
I really don’t understand the whole acting complaints people have. It’s the characters you don’t like- not the acting. My favorite character is the supermodel Seonho. I can put past aside my major bias for Minho and realize he’s not perfect. I do like flawed characters because they are more human, the same with this drama. It’s not perfect- the only perfect drama I’ve seen is the Untamed- and that’s because I look past its flaws because I just love it so much. I can see all the flaws with this show but that doesn’t make me write it off as being unwatchable. This show is very watchable; it’s not very long, it’s not offensive, it’s got Choi Minho, and it’s pretty fabulous to look at. Not a 10/10, but it’s a good watch if you want a fashion drama, a young adult drama, a drama that’s not too dramatic.

Chemistry was a 10
Honestly felt like I was was watching a real relationship on screen. The chemistry, the display of emotions I almost forgot it was acting . Also The friendship between the main leads made me want to join their friend group. Due to how supportive and caring they were for each other. No matter how busy they were it never to busy for their friends. I personally think if you enjoy dramas about friendship this one is for you. It was a short, quick, funny, cute drama. Navigating adulthood, friendship and relationships while navigating the stressful life of being an adult.Was this review helpful to you?
A cute romantic comedy about passionate people
I’m binged watched the drama because I really loved it. The drama shows the hardship of people working in fashion industry and beautiful friendship among the main characters. I feel the drama did great justice to all the characters not just the 4 main characters.I am a shawol but regardless of that I feel like Minho portrayed Ji Woomin perfectly as a person who has hard time expressing his feelings but his character develops to overcome that! I really loved his chemistry with Soobin too. Sangwoon and Heejung did a great job too!
A fun, cute drama showing everyone’s passion and hardwork. Specially healing to watch this holiday season!

Definitely the fabulous
It is the best. I love it. Our Choi Minho and Chae Soobin is really good. Not only the main leads but also the whole cast is really good. Perfect , Gorgeous ,Elegant, Brilliant. You can feel the chemistry of the characters just by one look. They teach you how to get close with your ex if you want. I love this and the scenes are really bright. It really shows how the fashion industry is.The facial imotions are good. The cast have worked hard. The story of this drama is clearly flooding away without any hesitation. It has good beginning well prepared middle and turning points and happy ending.
The OST's are also really good. They 're really matching with the drama well and they have chosen the right singers and bands for OST s. The couple is super cute and pretty together.

Friendship, Love and Career!
Watched the series in one go! With the fam.. parents and all.. My mother seemed like a mom watching his son (m talking sbout you Choi Minho).. ?The drama length was enough to convey the story, no unnecessary scenes/fillers just to have that 16 ep length. Love that there'so no ultra over the top evil witch/villain.. just enough tension to spice it all up.
The fashion show events were so entertaining to watch!
Also love how it showed the story of each of the 4 friends, and how they interact together, as friends talking about life and work. It's relatable.

Your slice of life drama with a strong acting cast!
The drama has been marketed as a HYPER REALISTIC romance genre focusing on the struggles of youths in the fashion industry and the strong friendship between the 4 main cast. So, I expect realistic potrayals of the cast with character developments that are more authentic to real life. Also, the pacing and development of the story to be closer to reality.After binge watching the series, I truly enjoyed the drama and it was well executed. Firstly, I appreciate that they did not drag out the stories and it flowed smoothly. You can sympathise and feel the togetherness and companionability of the 4 four friends. They never fail to turn up for each others despite their bad days. The stories for each character were well developed and i love that they let each and every character shine on their own right. No actors were left behind, even the supporting cast were very well portrayed. I must say, the cast is one of the drama's strength. All of them held their own. Their acting were on point. Also, I love that each of the 4 main characters were distinctly different yet they mesh together well. There were notoverlaps in the writing so you are kept engaged. The writing was solid and it had enough depth to the stories as well as humor and quirky moments!
Out of all the cast members, I am the most familiar with minho and soobin. I personally love their chemistry onscreen and offscreen. You can tell that they mesh well so I am invested in the pairing. Their flashback scenes are one of my favourites since I love romanticism. I do hope they have more opportunities to work together again in the future.
Overall a great watch and definitely recommended! As per their tagline, let the fabulous be your ride or die!

A really nice drama to end the year with
This show was really nice to watch! Original, with endearing characters, a realistic plotline... I learned new things about the fashion industry, which I didn't know at all.The drama is about the characters' struggles with their works within a demanding industry. I loved the fact that it was not entirely focused on the romance. It is what makes the plot realistic: seeing the friendship between the different characters and their relationships, I could somehow relate to them. While facing hardships, having friends to hang out with is a must!
It was nice to witness the characters' development, both emotionally and professionally! Ji Woo-Min's development was the most impressive of course - Choi Minho did well with this character!
The four main actors and actresses did really well! It's a good team: two actors, one actor and idol and a model! What a multi-talented team!

The Fabulous
I personally loved it, the story is fun, the love conflict is well posed, the story begins with great impact and takes us into a critical point in history, where it begins to break. Pyo Ji-eun and Ji Woo-min are the leading couple, the entanglements, back and forth, even the romantic scenes look very natural and real, sometimes the kdrama sins of being too rescued and having kiss scenes washed out but in The Fabulous that does not happen. The couple of friends of Esther and Joseph is super fun and lightens the series a lot but the best character is without a doubt Ye Seon Ho, a strong woman, with character and super endearing, in short I loved the seriesWas this review helpful to you?
Such a sweet drama!
The fabulous is a positive and sweet drama, such an endearing story! Gonna watch again and again, it got me smiling like an idiot so many times! The cast is really bright, I loved the natural acting. Also the story is very interesting and even if I don't generally like romantic dramas, this one was really cute. Also the outfits and style of all the actors is very remarkable! Also kissing scenes are so sweet! I loved it overall it made me happy~ can't wait to see more shinee minho acting in the future but also I loved Soobin character, the four protagonists are lovely.Was this review helpful to you?
