O_O

I... wow. I was literally sitting here with my mouth open as I watched the end of the episode. And then I applauded when Naoki-san stormed out of that hearing room. This was fantastic. I can see why not everyone will enjoy it, some people just need to do better research before selecting a drama to watch. I like clever dialogue-driven plots, so I expected to like it, although it's my first business drama. I just didn't expect to like it THIS much. Also, absolutely incredible lead actor, so powerful. Also#2, very thankful that they explain the terminology where necessary, so I didn't have to pause and educate myself every time.

P.S. Unrelated to anything, but I think the Tower of the Sun is one of the creepiest pieces of architecture in existence. It's been haunting me ever since I looked it up for the first time, and now it's back. :( lol

Surprisingly BORING episode 1

I'm not sure why this drama didn't really draw me in from the first minute. The first half of this episode had me yawning, and I wasn't sure why this had such a high score. The second half of the drama was much more entertaining, but not enough to be given a 9+ score on MDL. I hope the next episodes get better and better, until i see why this is scored this highly.

What an amazing start!

That was one of the best pilot episodes I ever saw: Something coming out from someone who don't care much about first episodes.

I never thought that I would be involved in a business drama and it's about bankers too but Tada, surprise! I like the way things set and how horrific the bank system is. I also came to know many references used by bankers such as "Naked" and "Window dressing".

I like the acting and the charcters; our male lead is perfect which means that this drama is going to be enjoyable. The rest of the characters are cool too.

The fact that Naoki is after revenge for his father is also something I want to follow; and I began to guess who's the banker who refused to give Naoki'd father a loan and eventually led him to suicide.

Awesome Pilot Episode

Superb pilot episode. You'll get a glimpsed of everything important on this episode. This is how pilot episode should be, not just so-so but all out. And Sakai Masato's acting is flawless as always! Though this kind of drama (business genre) isn't really my cup of tea, loving this drama so far. Will definitely want to see the end of this drama. :)

The 500-million loan mishap

The first episode sets a good background of Hanazawa's history and the surrounding environment, while beginning with the story of the 500 million Hanazaw is fixed up with.

Sakai Masato plays a good role of a dedicate banker with a hidden aim to climb on the top of the bank he is working for and do a certain thing. His face looks mysterious just as he appeared in Joker drama.
