Both are about youth, friendship, trauma and mysterious threat
Fls both have a cuteness to them that I personally like, sweet and not overbearing

Both of these dramas are romances centres around sports. Twenty-five Twenty-one focuses on fencing while cheer up revolves around a college cheer squad. Both drama's have FL as their main centre character, however on a few occasions the narrative in Twenty-five Twenty-one switches to the ML and also the FL daughter. There is a sense of mystery to both dramas; in Twenty-five Twenty-one you are constantly left in a will they won't they state regarding the main character relationship, whereas Cheer Up is more mysterious in that someone is out to get the FL.

The bright and diligent Do Hae Yi is a student at Yeonhee University. Because of her family's poor financial situation, she places a priority on making money rather than school.
One day, Do Hae Yi suddenly joins cheering squad Teyia that has existed for 50 years at Yeonhee University. She only joins the club for money, but while participating in the cheering squad, Do Hae Yi starts experiencing the joy of campus life and meets various people from Teyia including Bae Young Woong, who was once a member of Teyia and he is an alumnus of Yeonhee Univers, supporting the cheering squad financially and emotionally.

Both FLs give off feisty gen z babies. They're not strong or super sassy, but they know what they want or not want and they don't scramble infront of men pushing their fantasies on them. Both 2mls are the ones forcefully confessing and both fls don't take their bs
Also Both have Bae In Hyuk

Similar college/school setting with a mystery thriller element. Cheer Up has a "whodunit" plot, and likewise with Rookie Cops. Outside of the thriller, both dramas are generally lighthearted with hints of comedy.

Only resemblance is strong, brighter personality of the female character and a bit of mystery to the story. Liked it.

Both Dramas are lighthearted and comedic, yet inspiring. Both Dramas feature a group of (young) adults trying to navigate life. Also both Dramas include main characters who are passionate about a certain sport/activity. Both Dramas are easy to watch and seem to be very 'slice of life'.
