The Premise: A Boarding School or a Prison?Home School is a mysterious boarding school set deep in a remote forest. While it is marketed to wealthy families as an elite school with a unique curriculum and every comfort, the reality is far darker. With its strict rules and total isolation, the school feels more like a high-security prison than an educational institution.
My Personal Take: The Cycle of Trauma
What I learned most from this drama is how deeply trauma changes a child’s behavior and the difficult journey toward healing.
Family & Abandonment: The series highlights how children today face immense trauma within their families. Even when they love their parents and give their best just to receive a little care and attention, they are often met with neglect or total abandonment.
Societal Standards: The drama throws a sensitive light on the current scenario where certain groups—specifically mentioned as "females/males"—are judged or labeled "wrong" simply for trying to live according to their own wishes.
A "Thrill" with a Message: It manages to address these sensitive matters in a very engaging, "thrill-way" that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The Lessons Learned
The story is truly great because it shows that there are many things in this world that need to change regarding how we treat children. The way the characters heal from their trauma is a powerful lesson for the audience.
Final Verdict
If you enjoy thrillers, mysteries, and youth-centered stories that tackle heavy psychological themes, Home School is a must-watch. It’s an 18-episode journey that will make you question the standards of our society and the true meaning of "home."

Dark story with great themes but not my cup of coffee
I'd say it's really entertaining, my favorite actors are really great in their roles like Chimon who already has my heart, then the twins, Jane, Film, View, Love and mainly Gun who stole the show with few scenes.But what disappoints me here is that the school is always talking about justice and truth but don't even punish the ones who should be. They punished Pheng (Love) by making everyone look down on her and exposing her lies so why Jingjai, Hugo and Jean haven't been also humiliated like this? I saw not a single sign of guilt for putting Pennhung in the traumatic situation. Hugo may have apologized but Jingjai just stood there like statue. Plus Hugo and Jean are often getting into fight with girls or guys. They bullied Pennhung just for being cute. But single apology and confession was enough? They were made to confess just to stop those punishments, they did not do it because they felt guilty, ahh! It's already frustrating me but besides intro and these three characters it's really great and I recommend it.

Einfach nur mega !!!!
Ich habe mich von Anfang an auf die Serie gefreut und war überglücklich als sie endlich ausgestrahlt wurde. Also ich die ersten folgen mir angeschaut hatte, war ich bereits Feuer und Flamme und konnte es gar nicht abwarten bis die nächsten folgen raus kamen. In jeder Folge wurde die Spannung beibehalten so das man immer wieder gespannt war, wie es in der nächsten folge weiter geht. Die Schauspieler haben ihre Rollen richtig gut gespielt und waren richtig in diesen drinnen. Bis zum Ende hab ich weiterhin mit gefiebert wie das Ende wird und hoffe so sehr innig das es eine zweite Staffel gibt. Ich kann die Serie nur weiter empfehlen !!!Was this review helpful to you?

not that promising
• Inabangan ko talaga 'to mula nang nailabas ang trailer (pero hindi naman pinanood 'yon ew). Ngayon ko lang natapos kasi tinamad pa ko kahit 1 last ep na lang papanoorin ko lol.Panoorin niyo 'to if nagustuhan niyo ang The Gifted/TGG, Blacklist, & Girl From Nowhere since pare-pareho silang mystery/thriller na may sinosolve na issue sa school, those are also non-bl.
For me, hindi ito gano'n kaganda like sa mga nabanggit kong ka-same vibes nito. Hindi gano'n kapromising 'yong story na feeling ko wala ng bago kasi parang nakita ko na lahat, maybe gano'n na siya kacommon sa'kin. But superb ang camera angle, transition, cast/acting, cinematography, and visuals.
• Nagustuhan ko visuals nilang lahat lalo na sina jane at film (my gf). Bet na bet ko red highlights sa hair ni maki, kung ikukumpara sa unang trailer mas maganda visual niya sa pangalawa. Nagkaroon kasi ng changes sa cast kaya kung mapapansin niyo wala 'yong iba sa naunang trailer sa mismong series dahil may conflict sa sched. (baka magtaka kayo kung bakit ko 'yon alam even tho hindi ko pinanood ang trailer, nakita ko kasi sa tiktok 555555)
• About chemistry naman, tinawag kong f4 sina tibet, maki, white, & nai since lagi silang magkakasama. I love their chemistry, pero fav ship ko sina pennhung & pheng sobrang cuteee nila, ang sarap maging inosente hindi complicated <333
• Master Prasath's character really impressed me. Nakakainis siya sa galing magmanipulate, his expression creeps me out. Thumbs up for Chalad Na Songkhla!!
• Other things I noticed are:
- Naalala ko The Eclipse sa uniform nila.
- Setting ng school nila may vibes ng Hell University ng watty.

- Father & son relationship nina Master Amin at Run
- Character development esp jingjai and hugo
• With the appearance of Zero naging cliffhanger ang ending nito kaya expected na may season 2. Khaotung, the finest. POGI SO MUCH SA BAD BOY LOOK!!
• Home School taught me to cherish others, to see the importance of love, and to avoid letting rage or hatred turn you into a monster. Overall, home school taught me the value of friendship. An 8/10!!
